    Backflow Valve Installation

    We wanted a backflow valve installed after we had sewer backup during the July 2013 flood. Plumbers Direct was recommended to us by another contractor. Peter came out the same day to look at our basement and provide a quote. When we told him that we were ready to proceed, he wasted no time in pulling the required permits for the job. They did a great job and Peter walked us through the process to apply for the grant from the city. Overall, an easy process and done well. We would use them again.

    Burst pipe

    I had an emergency situation when a pipe burst in my house late Boxing Day. I called Plumbers Direct and Peter was quick to respond and went out of his way to fit me in. He showed up when he said he would, gave me a fair quote when he could have easily gouged me because of the season and the ice storm Toronto was recovering from but he didn't. He did a great job and had my water up and running in no time. I was very impressed by Peter's professionalism and prompt service. Plumbers Direct is now my go-to company for my plumbing needs. Fantastic job!

    Hot Water Tank Replacement

    I was stuck and I contacted the Plumbers Direct, they showed up, everything was explained thoroughly, I received a written quote, and once accepted everything was done within a couple of hours, Peter and his crew were absolutely great, I would recommend their service to everyone.

    Sump Pump Install and Mixing Valve

    I would highly recommend Plumbers Direct for your plumbing needs...Peter and his crew are fabulous ! Professional, punctual and offer the best service one could hope for. I used them for both my sump pump replacement and mixing valve removal. Sweet thanks again Peter !! Maryse

    Drainage and Plumbing in Basement

    Victor of Plumbers Direct supervised the installation of a new main drain pipe and new base of the main stack. They installed a new 3/4 water supply pipe, sump pump, back water valve, floor drain and disconnected the downspouts. They re-routed new spouts to the front and back yards and installed a new garden faucet. Plumbing from an unused toilet and shower was disconnected and a new laundry tub was installed. This was all done in preparation of water proofing our damp basement. They began the project immediately and the crew worked every day until it was complete. They kept the area clean and they stayed within the quote. Victor filled out the forms to be sent to City of Toronto for a $3200 rebate on this work. One workman worked from early in the morning and a larger crew worked from 4:00 to very late in the evening. Later, our water proofers had to make adjustments to the sump pump installation before it was fully functional. It was helpful to have the plumbing work followed up by a specialized waterproofing company.

    Several Plumbing Issues

    Clogged sink

    These guys are life savers! Our bathroom drains got clogged on Thanksgiving holiday weekend ... the worst possible time. A friend recommended Plumbersdirect. Peter showed up the next day on Saturday. He was on time, fixed the problem using a snake and cleaned up after himself thoroughly, which I really, really appreciated :) Peter even went the extra mile of installing a broken aerator on the faucet that I wasn't even aware of for free! thank you

    Water Heater Replacement

    Out of the 6 contractors I called, John was the only one who returned my telephone call. He was on-site quickly to assess the problem. The new heater was ordered that same day and arrived the next morning. John was on-site that very day to change out the water heater. Excellent service. Very pleasant individual. Would definitely deal with again and would highly recommend.

    Hot Water Tank Leak and Toilet Leaks

    Second time using their service. Peter and Tenzin are amazing to work with, they explain the situation well and walk you through it, especially important when you know nothing about plumbing. Very reasonable pricing and perform an excellent and professional job. Over deliver and under promise. No complaints.

    Hot Water Tank and more

    At first, we thought it was just the hot water tank in our office building acting up but it turned out to be much more and Peter was very upfront about it and gave us everything we needed to know to make an informed decision. It wasn't a quick decision on our part but he was so very patient about it. He did such good work and was so professional that we asked for a stack of business cards to recommend to our families.
