    Used WireChief for a second time

    This is the second time I have used Wire Chief in the last few months On both occasions Electrician (Ben) arrived on time,and took care of the problems efficiently and professionally for quoted price Very easy to deal with Would definately use them in the future

    Repair

    I initially called in requesting an appointment for a certain time slot, but unfortunately due to an input issue on the company's end, the appointment was not properly slotted in. Despite this, Octavio was able to honour the original afternoon commitment and promptly resolved the breaker issue affecting my dishwasher, garburator and kitchen outlet. My partner met him at home and felt treated with respect even though the problem was simple, and greatly appreciated Octavio's additional insight on our existing connections and how to troubleshoot next time. The company is upfront about that $180 minimum troubleshooting fee, and while that might seem high, the respect and integrity that goes into the interaction is well worth it.

    Wirechief

    Octavio of Wirechief got back to me immediately. He was efficient, knowledgeable, helpful and polite. He inspected our building as well for electrical safety and provided advice on safety. I would highly recommend Octavio and Wirechief

    Slupped breaker

    Hey I called wire Chief electrical to come out and help me fix a breaker. Octavio tried to troubleshoot a bit on the phone to find out what the problem was. When he arrived he spent about 5 minutes downstairs on the breaker panel. All he did was hold the breaker until it stayed on. He charged me $150 for 5 minutes of his time.

When you called I tried to help you over the phone as a complimentary, not charge service, I explained that if I went to your home for a service call I have to charge the minimum fee for troubleshooting, you agreed and requested an appointment within an hour or so of your initial contact. I did what was necessary for reestablishing the power in your home, more work is necessary to make your electrical system safe but you declined any extra work for budget reasons. Although I took about 15 -20 mins at your house, it is necessary to understand that there is traveling time involved, at least 30 mins each way, licensing, insurance and all the other expenses that are necessary for being a licensed & insured electrical contractor. As a courtesy, we came back to your home and checked the electrical system again and made recommendations without charging you anything else. We talk frankly about the prices before work begins so there are no surprises at the end of a job. We try to keep our pricing as reasonable and competitive as we can for our customers in today's market. Providing our customers with the best service and work warranty has always been our mission.

    Potlights

    Hired Wire Chief to install 20+ pot lights throughout our townhouse. What impressed me the most was the crew that did the work. They spent a lot of time discussing and planning before they even made the first cut. The electricians were professional, well mannered, and took time to help me understand what was happening at each step of the job. They cleaned up at the end of each day and made sure the site was left in a clean, tidy state. They also prepped the site with plastic and builder's paper before they started. While Wire Chief was not the cheapest, their costs were very reasonable and considering the high level of service on a fixed cost basis I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Kudos to the crew and big thanks to the Wire Chief.

    Electrical work

    WireChief installed strip lighting in the living room, replaced the fluorescent tubes on the landing and stairwell with new lighting fixtures, and installed a motion sensing light in the carport. All work was completed as scheduled and the final amount was the same as originally quoted. He even popped in on the morning the electrician was scheduled to do the work so he could introduce him and ensure he knew exactly what had to be done. I have no hesitation in recommending Octavio and his company.

    Basement Renovation

    Octavio came to us recommended by our contractor and we are so happy we hired him. Octavio and his crew are very knowledgeable, hard working and easy to work with. They installed recessed lights, a pool table lamp and all the electrical wiring for a wall hung flat screen TV. The work was completed as scheduled and the final amount was the same as originally quoted. We definitely recommend Octavio and his company WireChief Electric. Actually we will have them back for our main floor remodel.

    Pot light Installation

    After installing new flooring and painting the basement recroom I knew the old florescent light fixtures had to go and dimmable LED pot lights were the answer. My Reno was small but I was treated like their best customer. From the first in home free estimate to the last pot light installed, always prompt, courteous and professional. Very Impressive.

    Fixtures replacement

    Aug2014-Updated a very dated condo;all light fixtures, including the track lighting and ceiling fan on cathedral ceiling, 45 outlets and switches, etc. Timely, polite, accommodating, friendly, helpful, tidy, interested...I can't say enough about Octavio and his employees.

    basement reno

    Wirechief was quick, professional, and friendly. They completed the job on budget and communicated every step of the process. I highly recommend their services to anyone. Octavio helped me plan the changes to my basement in a way that made sense.
