The scope of our front porch included working with the engineer as well as the city inspector; demoing our old porch; building new brick pillars as well as new carpentry. The project took about 8 weeks to complete in total. Bill, Mike, Peter and Trudy were a pleasure to work with and we look forward to working with the team again in the Spring on our back deck.

What started as a simple waterproofing job, turned into a complete gut and rebuild of our back addition. Bill and his team did an amazing job from start to finish!

Our experience with Bill and his team was fantastic. We hired them to replace our back deck and couldn't be happier with the results. The team was knowledgeable and friendly, and they went about their work with genuine care. Timing was delayed due to supply issues and there were a couple unexpected costs; however, Bill's communication was great throughout and we were ultimately happy to have these issues identified and fixed vs. just papering over them to get the job done faster. Would 100% hire again and recommend for others without reservation.

As a newer homeowner in the city I am still at that point where I'm finding contractors that I feel I can trust. I had a leak in my back mudroom that I had another well-known Toronto roofing company in to fix. After what turned into over a month of back-and-fourth and a few thousand dollars spent, I had a room that was still leaking and ended up terminating the contract and looking elsewhere. That's when somebody suggested Bill. Bill was fantastic to work with, listened to what the problem was and took the steps to understand the issue before suggesting a fix. After a proper water test, he worked with me to find a solution that would work within my budget and goals for the house. The workers he had in were professional and courteous, the workplace was kept clean and the work was done quickly and efficiently. Pictures of the progress were provided, as well as feedback along the way and explanation given for specific choices and suggestions. Bill was able to work around my schedule and the final product was wonderfully finished. I am happy that I gave him a call and would suggest his company to anyone with roofing or waterproofing-related issues with full confidence.

Fairney and Sons just completed a pretty major project for us on our 85 year old East York house. Including removing our old deck, building a new stone patio, putting up new siding, fence and gate replacement and more. Bill and his team( Mike, Peter, Nash etc) were a pleasure to work with from start to finish and provided clear communication every step of the way. Well into the job, we discovered substantial rot and an old rodent infestation which led to additional work to remove rotted wood, old insulation and more. The team dealt with every new surprise with a can do attitude and came up with creative solutions where needed going above in beyond. I can't recommend them highly enough and look forward to working with Bill in the team in the future. Thanks guys!

Bill and his team built beautiful retaining walls in my back and front yards that have transformed the space, and installed new aluminum siding to the back of my house that is very stylish and has made the house look brand new. They were always on time, always responsive, super neat and tidy and gave excellent value for money. Highly recommend.
