Met with Tom (he actually arrived at premises before I did). 10/10 for punctuality. He was certainly personable...10/10 for personality. explained exactly what he was going to do, and, once completed, repeated the process with me in tow...10/10 for professionalism.

Clearview was great. Terrible snowy weather, but the inspector took his time to find everything he could. He took the time to answer any and all of my questions. The inspection saved me a ton of money in the end and a lot of stress.

These guys are #1 on Homestars for a good reason...they are the Best. Our first home purchase it too important to just go with your average inspector, and we believe that you get what you pay for. I called Tom on Monday night (9:30pm) and he not only answered the phone but was able to schedule me for the next day. The inspection was amazing. It was very windy on the day of our inspection and I was shocked that he still went on the roof. Thats a real professional for you. The process was very straight forward and thorough. The report was so detailed it totally blew away my family and my agent. All we can say is thank you soooo much Clearview and Tom for this exceptional service. We chose Clearview for our first ever home inspection based on all the other great reviews I read and we are so happy we did. We didn't want to go with one of the cheaper priced inspectors as this is far to important and wanted the best inspection possible. From the initial phone call to receiving the detailed inspection report that same evening, our inspector was professional and thorough. Tom spent over 3 hours going through the whole home, climbed on the roof, into the attic, answered every question we had with patience and encouraged us tag along for the whole inspection. Tom arrived punctually and conducted the inspection professionally and courteously. He carefully explained the probable issues that could cause wetness in our basement, and discussed workable solutions to any problems ensuing from those issues. He used a sophisticated infrared scanner that highlighted cool areas behind walls that could be attributed to moisture, and those that would occur naturally. When he was finished, I had a comprehensive understanding of all probable sources of current and future basement moisture problems and the best ways to tackle them. Tom added a number of other helpful suggestions around minor issues in our home we happened by on our way through the inspection. I did have issues to resolve, and the peace of mind that came from Tom's confident professionalism at identifying their scope was worth the investment.

I found ClearView on HomeStars and contacted Tom to book a home inspection. Although I called at 9 p.m on Wednesday and wanted the home inspection done on Friday, Tom was very understanding, informative and managed to fit me in. On Friday morning Bob showed up and he did the house inspection. Bob was meticulous, he took the time to explain to me every single issue he found and how I can fix it and the severity of the issue. I was by the end of the inspection armed with the knowledge of how to fix all the issues, what tools to use and the best techniques to apply. Bob took pictures of everything for later documentation. The following day I received the most extensive report I have ever seen. The report detailed everything Bob pointed out during his inspection, and had more elaboration on what would happens if the issues were not fixed and what is the best way to fix them. I shared the report with my realtor and she pointed out that she has worked and seen a lot of home inspectors and Bob was by far one of the best. If you want to have a professional assist of your biggest investment go with ClearView. I would recommend paying extra for the Thermal imaging.

My husband and I had our new house inspected by Tom Rando and to say we were impressed would be an understatement. He was so detailed in the way he did his job and how he explained the process to us that we couldn't even think of any questions to ask.
