I was looking for a competent inspector and Tom was recommended by a trusted friend. He was very clear and explained everything well when going through the inspection. He did it in 3 parts which is apparently unusual for inspectors. He did outside, inside basement, then inside main level. He was great.

Absolutely the best. Talk about thorough and paying attention to details, our inspector Tom found things that even the existing home owners didn't know about. They were grateful that Tom pointed them out. Needless to say we got a reduction in the purchase price of the home but even more so, we learned sooo much about the house. You guys are the best

I looked up Home Inspection on Homestars and picked the highest rating company, Clearview! Tom is very professional, knowledgable and systematic. He explained the entire process on the phone, and again at the property. My father in-law who is a very proficient handyman was very impressed with Tom and his inspection. This inspection also included an asbestos test. A week after the inspection, Tom continues to answer my questions. As a result of Tom's report, I was able to negotiate a significant drop in my purchase price.

We were in a bind and Tom was amazing and was able to help us. He did a full inspection, including climbing onto our roof! He was very patient in answering our questions. We were having problems with potlights and the infrared camera was able to catch a couple of issues we could then clarify for our builder. His post-inspection report helped us immensely with our Tarion inspection -- we were able to catch many deficiencies that would have otherwise gone unnoticed by our novice eyes. My wife and I are very happy we hired Clearview and would recommend this to anyone who owns a new or old home.

We hired Clearview to do a home inspection with thermography. Tom arrived on time and explained the home inspection procedure very clearly from the on-set so we knew what to expect. During the inspection, Tom was very thorough and informative throughout the inspection. He answered all our questions / concerns and made suggestions where necessary. I would recommend the inspection with the thermograph as the image displayed provides additional detail that cannot be seen with the naked eye. Tom was very professional. knowledgeable and patient during the inspection. He took his time to ensure all accessible items were inspected thoroughly. Tom was an excellent house inspector. He was very thorough, made good suggestions on how some items could be easily fixed, and was direct about other concerns he felt were more significant. He was clear in his explanations and provided a very thorough summary document.
