    Mover

    My move was incredibly difficult as I have a number of large/heavy pieces of furniture that needed to be moved up a fire escape with a number of awkward twists and turns. Levante and his team were somehow able to complete this move in the shortest amount of time imaginable. And, they also dropped off for me a ladder that I had rented at a local lumber yard! I've used them twice, and I'll definitely do so again!

    Moving from condo to house

    Just finished up a move with Devonte and his coworker. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. After experiencing a nightmarish move (avoid Husky Movers at all costs!!!) a month prior, during which furniture was damaged and picture frames were broken, this move from my condo to my new house was almost too easy. They were punctual, courteous, quick and they took great care to ensure that the furniture was wrapped and arrived undamaged. The price was very reasonable as well. I would certainly recommend these guys to anyone looking to move. Thanks, guys!

    Last minute move

    I had a last minute move from a one bedroom to a bachelors. Not only did I need to find movers the day before I needed storage as I couldn't move in till the 1st and had to be out on the last day. I phoned several companies and got quotes for around 900-1200 for the services I needed. So it was no surprise I was glad I got the call back from Devonte. He came, gave me a quote and even drove me to my bank and back for the deposit as I had no cash on me. Basically...they work fast, they work hard, they're pleasant, budget friendly, they're careful, and well worth whatever quote you're given. All the best to them.

    Moving

    I am completely satisfied with the service of the Around Town company. The reasons: punctual to arrive, kind and professional attitude, assistance to load/download my stuff, patient and fair price. The driver was also very carefully that even some eggs I took arrived without being broken.

    Moving houses

    I recently had to move back to my parents and needed a moving company that was cost efficient. I found Around Town from HomeStars and gave them a try. Tom and Earl, the movers, were very friendly (unlike some movers) and was really careful with the fragile boxes. I would use them again.

    Moving and storage

    This is a few months late..but an upcoming move jolted my short-term memory of this company and Devonte and his crew! I had a last minute move and found the website. I got immediate answers and assistance! Last minute, I also needed storage for almost a week and that was provided to me with no issues! I mainly talked to Devonte and he was awesome! This move was extremely stressful for me as I am not from ON and Devonte was a much needed smiling and helpful face. They were friendly, quick, patient and professional. All my belongings were stored and well-kept for the week and when I no longer needed the storage it was an easy drop-off. Thanks so much..and I will give you guys a shout soon! Sheilana (:

    Moving Services

    We used Around Town Moving for our move just before the holidays. The guys were extremely professional, punctual and considerate. They took good care of our belongings and our new home (we had just had the hardwood refinished and they were very careful with it). Thanks so much, guys.     Moved in around Leslieville

    This is about an old move that happened back in January 2012, which I had forgotten to write about. The Movers from Around Town were quick, efficient, and reasonable. They moved my belongings to my one bedroom apt in 2.5 hours, which was amazing. They even took a couch to a donation centre for me because it couldn't go through the doorway. Although this review is a year late, it goes to show these guys are decent because they'll be helping me move again tomorrow. No tricky, like asking for extra cash. They help move like how movers are intend to - which is all I can ask for.

    Move into a Townhouse

    This was my second move in less than two years, and my second time to call Devonte and his team. Just like last time, he was extremely professional; he and his crew were punctual, friendly, efficient and careful. Devonte takes pride in doing the job right and will do whatever it takes to ensure that happens. You can also always expect him to follow-up after the move to make sure you're satisfied. The rate he charges is very reasonable, and the quality of their work is top-notch. If you want peace of mind, call him. I recommend him to all my friends who move.

    Apartment move

    I called Around Town Movers 2 weeks prior to our moving day and they were able to provide us with a quote and a confirmation right away they were available to help us move on short notice on the 1st of December. When I called back 2 days before our move to see if they could accommodate an earlier time slot, they were more than happy to help out and showed up bright and early with smiles on their faces to help us. Devonte and his team were very careful with our belongings, worked hard and worked fast to get us out of our Toronto loft apartment and into our Oshawa apartment seamlessly and in record time :) They made the move stress free and took the time to carefully wrap items to prevent any damage to them during the move. Other moving companies we have used never offered this service. It was very thoughtful and appreciated. I would certainly recommend Around Town to anyone who asks - and WILL call them again next time I move.
