    Underground and in-ceiling pipe replacement

    I had never hired a contractor before and know nothing about plumbing so was anxious about making the right decision. A to Z Plumbing was the right decision and i would not hesitate to recommmend them. Dmitry was straightforward and took care of all the details of the job from working with the city to leaving my basement and front yard clean and tidy. He was responsive to emails and texts, provided a detailed quote and explained what he would be doing and why. Despite an unexpected delay due to rocks where his team was digging (6' underground), they were professional, dedicated, and completed the job as quickly and unobtrusively as possible.     Back Water Valve Installation

    It was a pleasure to work with Dmitry, to have a back water valve installed. He and his crew were always on time. His crew put down tarps to keep my floors and carpets clean. Once the work had been completed, they made sure the work area was left clean. The project was completed efficiently over a couple of days. Dimitry took care of securing the permit to do the work and scheduling the city inspector. Also, he provided me with the paper work needed to obtain the rebate from the city, completed what he could and explained what I needed to do. By doing this for me, it made things a lot easier for me. Dmitry goes above and beyond for his clients. I will be using him for any plumbing needs I have in the future, and would highly recommend him. Susan

    Backwater Valve Installation

    I found Dimitri on Homestars, and his reviews do not exaggerate. He was able to quote my project quickly, understood my needs and didn't try to push or upsell more than I needed. He worked with our local inspectors and completed the job cleanly and without any long delays or interruptions of service.

    Fixed Drain

    Dmitry was very helpful and came to the rescue on a Sunday morning. He was very efficient and was able to solve the problem quickly and explain the issue. Thank you!

    Broken Pipe, Backwater Valve

    HomeStars actually works! I had a bad musky odour along with rocks and dirt in my basement floor drain, so I called my usual plumber who couldn’t figure it out, and so I called another plumber who didn’t bother to show up and/or call. I checked HomeStars, and decided to call A-Z Plumbing based on good reviews. Dimitry came right over and diagnosed the problem (broken pipe under my concrete basement floor) and set-up an appointment to start the work. I had been wanting to install a backwater valve for some time, so I asked if I could get that done too, and they were very accommodating. Dimirty and his team were great! They replaced the broken pipe and entire floor drain, and installed the backwater valve. They took care of everything - the city permit, inspection, and even helped me with the rebate paperwork. The whole job was done on a very cold, stormy winter day, but they were on time, professional, and left the place cleaner than it was before! I’ve found my new go-to plumber…thanks Dimitry!

    Basement plumbing issue

    A very strong smell was being released from our laundry room every time we ran the washing machine. The smell became more potent over time. Dimitri was extremely responsive to our immediate request and as professional when he responded. His investigation was exhaustive. While we were concerned that the problem may have been with a drain he determined after a very thorough investigation (including cameras which were inserted into two drains) that the problem was with our washing machine. He was professional and extremely thorough and the cost was incredibly reasonable.

    Plumbing possible main blockage or back up. Ruled that out and found a block in one of the drains.

    It appeared the main was blocked of damaged it is and old house and water was coming up in the basement. Dmitry came and did all due diligence to make sure that was not the case. we did find a blocked drain and cleared it successfully. He was very polite and explained everything he was doing and why. I was very satisfied with his help.

    Backwater Valve Installation

    I interviewed 4 plumbers to get quotes for installing a backwater valve. I chose Dmitry of A to Z plumbing because he was the most courteous, and he patiently addressed all my concerns during the visit - the best location for the valve, reasons for choosing one type of valve over another, unknown connections into the sewer line, weeping tiles and downspouts, etc. It turned out that I made a good choice. Dmitry and his crew not only appeared to be masters of their trade, but gave me excellent customer service from start to end. Thank you Dmitry, and please convey my thanks to the other gentlemen.

    basement sewer blockage

    I can't speak highly enough about Dmitry! My initial call in the morning was answered promptly, and by the afternoon he arrived punctually as promised to inspect and address a basement sewer blockage issue. He was professional, considerate, and informative, giving me plenty of information and guidance as to what needed to be done right away, and what needed to be done on a preventative basis. He immediately won my trust, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to you.

    Replace building traps, drain pipes and install backwater valve

    Dmitry and his crew at A to Z Plumbing recently replaced a building trap and installed a backwater valve at my rental property. They also replaced all of the drain pipes, replaced the building trap and installed a backwater valve at my residence. In both instances, Dmitry and his crew were professional, polite and clean. The outdoor work required that the crew dig a trench that was at least 8' deep. I am amazed at how carefully they removed and then replaced the grass over the trench they dug. It is almost impossible to tell that anything was done. They were also extremely clean when working indoors. I would recommend this company to anyone and intend to call Dmitry should I need a plumber in the future.
