Luxair provided us with quick, efficient and quality service as well as excellent customer service. We were so afraid we were going to get gouged because we needed our A/C repaired urgently because our son had a heart condition. We decided to go with Luxair based on the other positive reviews on this site. We called and explained our situation to Phil and he gave us a very reasonable quote over the phone after hearing the problems we had with our unit. He arrived within 2 hours as promised and repaired our unit. We highly recommend Luxair.

I learnt of Phil, who was recommended to me. I contacted him because on one of the hottest day of the summer my AC broke. Phil attended promptly. He understood my concerns as I had a small child. Phil fixed the leak in my AC no problem that same day. Above all he returned few days after to check in. He ensured the unit was still functioning properly. He was courteous, prompt gave me tips on how to prevent such problems from occurring in the future. I have dealt with a few service people and I must say by far he was the best. HIs professionalism was outstanding and the repair cost which I thought would be a nightmare was fair. During the recent heat spell the AC failed. We obtained two quotes and Phils came in well below that of the other company. Having used Phils service for a smaller problem we decided to go along with the Luxair quote and were delighted that we did. His knowledge and expertise were excellent as was the workmanship. He finished the job within one day in order to ensure we were l;eft with cooling within the house. He was most polite and gave attention to detail. We would certainly recommend his services.

I recently decided to finish my basement and take advantage of the retrofit grants. One of the recommended items was the installation of an HRV (heat recovery ventilator). I had 5 HVAC companies come out and give me a quote for the install. These companies seemed to focus on upselling with unnecessary equipment rather than focusing on the concerns I had about my project and home HVAC system in general. I then found Phil from Luxair and had him give me a quote. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! First and foremost, Phil displayed what every other contractor lacked. He was punctual, patient, helpful and honest. Phil also pointed out that some of the recommendations that had been given by previous contractors did not meet code. When I had all the information I needed, I felt as though Phil really cared about getting me the best value for my budget and ensuring that all the work would be done properly. All I can say is that it ended up reflecting in the work! We scheduled in a time for the install, but unfortunately the HRV manufacturer did not have the required unit when Phil went to pick up the unit. Before I could even say anything, Phil mentioned that he had taken it upon himself to phone the manufacturer to ensure they compensate me with an upgraded unit. He phoned me the next day and we booked in a new time to install the upgraded unit. Phil arrived on time and ready to work. He went over what he would be doing that day to install the HRV and began the work. When the unit was installed, Phil left the area even cleaner then he found it. He then checked and re-checked the work a few times to ensure that everything was working the way it should be. At the last minute, I asked him to do some of the work he had recommended when he came by to give me the initial quote. He did not get angry or irritated; instead, he seemed relieved and happy I had decided to follow his advice. He came prepared! He got his tools and material and went right to work! All I can say is that the workmanship was PHENOMENAL! Phil takes pride in his work and it shows. His recommendations were spot-on! Everything he recommended made sense with the layout of the basement reno. If you’re looking for a contractor that is punctual, honest, patient, helpful, understanding and takes pride in what he does, Phil from Luxair should be your pick. I would recommend Phil to anyone and will not be using anyone else when future HVAC work is needed. In my opinion, Phil should be featured on the T.V. show: Holmes Inspection! Great job, Phil!

I recently used Luxair for the 1st time. I was trying them out because I couldn't get my regular HVAC company to come out to do a tune-up. I was so impressed with Philip's expertise & the thorough job he did that I am now going to use Luxair all the time

Sunday evening Dec 18th I Scheduled a service call online for Monday Dec 19th. This was regarding a broken furnace. Within minutes I was called and informed that a technician could respond immediately. We were planning on making do till Monday, as I assumed that Sunday rates would be exorbitant. I was happy to learn that I would not be charged more for Sunday, or for the evening hour. I quickly agreed and was advised that a technician would be dispatched. Gas tech. Philip arrived a short time later and expertly found the problem. Philip was thorough and professional, and patiently answered every question that I had as I hovered over him while he worked. It was a pleasure dealing with Luxair, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends, relatives, neighbors, or anyone in need of the services they provide. We purchased a new house - Phil gave us an honest assessment, accurate quote and recommendations. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He installed our Air Conditioner / Humidifier along with a few gas hook ups. He was very flexible with his schedule and arrived when he said he would. He was friendly, personable and had great advice to offer. Definitely recommend his services if you require heating and air conditioning."

After lots of research on different brand names of furnaces and contractors I came across Luxair. Philip gave me lots of tips what to look for and how to get the best product with my budget. I originally wanted to spend $2,000 but as Philip explained, you get what you pay for and on a long term it will end up costing more. It has been two years since the installation and I can say nothing but good things about Philip and Luxair heating and airconditioning. I respect the honesty and I will recommend Philip to family and friends.

In April we had our whole duct system, furnace and air conditioning done in our home by Luxair company. We are very happy with the serviced we received, it was done quickly, efficiency, and very professional also very affordable.
