RooterMan was very quick and professional in responding to my emergency. The team they sent out was amazing. They were very respectful of my home, put down drop cloths to protect my floors and hung plastic draping to contain the dust. They had to dig up some plants to access the front of my home and after they finished the job they replanted them again and made my garden look even better than before! I was told that these employees have landscaping and carpentry backgrounds in addition to plumbing. The finished job is very impressive and my home was left spotlessly clean, unlike other contractors I've had in. My main contact, Stephen Brodar was awesome, very professional and reassuring. He took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. They took care of ALL the details including the city grant application, making this a painless event for me. All-in-all I would highly recommend RooterMan to anyone....especially to those having these old "unique" properties in Leslieville and The Beach!

On Time, On Budget, Professional and Comprehensive! Stephan was recommended to me by my next door neighbour who is a Renovation Contractor. They've worked on projects together over the years. My trust in the recommendation was right on the money as Stephan and his crew exceeded my expectations. Tuesday...Stephan showed up with a Camera that he entered through the basement floor drain and pinpointed where the blockage was. He then went to the front of the house and used a device that read signals from the Camera. That enabled him to pinpoint the precise path of the pipes. A quote was provided with the exact cost and work to be done (Remove busted Clay Breather, Replace with PVC Pipes including Clean-outs). Clear emphasis on removal and re-installation of the front steps was included. Also indication that a thorough clean-up was part of the job. Wednesday...Stephan's crew showed up early in the morning. All they needed from me was access to an electrical outlet and a water hose. Then they took over. I walked by once and saw a deep hole where my steps once were, and the top of a guy's head down there (these guys really work hard for their money!). By 3pm they were done. You would not even notice they were here as the steps were back in place and everything was hosed down. They even re-planted a small tree that they had to get out of the way. Brilliant attention to detail!. Now I can use the laundry machine in my basement again (that was how the problem initially manifested itself, caused back-up into the basement bath tub). I think I've found my family plumber ;)

Stephen from Rooter-Man was prompt, professional and straightforward. He took the time to explain the situation and had his crew onsite immediately. I couldn't believe how quick and neat the dig crew were; the two gentlemen dug the most precise hole on our front lawn in the blink of an eye, and had it filled and replaced the grass just as quickly - you couldn't really tell the work had been done if you hadn't seen it. I was referred to Stephan by my plumber and it worked out great. We were renoing our basement and had been told that we should replace the drain pipes as they were well over 100 years old. We were not looking forward to the cost but Stephan was able to quote that, plus a backwater valve, new floor drain and moving water service for a unbelievable price. He was able to get in to do the job within a week and only took two days. He took care of the backwater valve inspection and showed me how to apply for the rebate. All in all, for a project we were dreading, Stephan and his team made it painless. He's now in our little black book of contractors.

If you have a sewer back up and need DIAGNOSIS, REPAIR and/or REPLACEMENT, you don’t have to look any further than Rooter Man. Last weekend I experienced one of every homeowner’s worst nightmares; a flash rainstorm caused back up of both water and waste into my laundry room in my basement as my storm water and sewer systems are still connected (Leaside Toronto). As I was up to my eyeballs in cleaning out muck in my basement, my son called Toronto Restoration who referred me to Stephen of Rooter Man. I’m very fussy and a perfectionist and I can’t say enough about how happy I was to make this call. Stephen arrived ON TIME early the next morning, diagnosed the problem, walked me through the proposed solution(s) and provided a no hassle quote on the spot. It was in line with what was expected. The repair would involve removal of all clay pipes that had come out of alignment and were being strangled by the city tree in my front yard, and install a back flow valve. His very capable crew of Dimitri and Roman arrived that afternoon to dig up my front yard and replace 4 feet of broken, root-laden clay pipe with new PVC and install a new clean-out. They worked into the evening to complete their task, all the time taking care of my front yard and sod. Everything was put into place when done. The crew was ready to work on Sunday (at no premium) but I needed a day to move articles in the basement. They returned on Monday to start the arduous task of drilling out concrete, replacement of 25 feet clay pipe with PVC, installing the back flow valve, repairing the concrete floor, arranging for city inspection, and installing a few things I needed for future renovations like Y connections. Oh yeah, they installed a new toilet for me and Stephan took care of the permit paperwork as well as the application for my back flow valve rebate. Drop cloths were everywhere, they moved what was too heavy for me to move, and they explained details as they went. They hauled out bags and bags of broken concrete and produced little dust because of the methods they used to break it up. Stephen was also available by text for changes I requested and questions I needed answered. The massive job was done in 3 days total and I received a 20 year guarantee on the work. I cannot say enough about their DEPENDABILITY, CLEANLINESS, ATTENTION to DETAIL and PROFESSIONALISM. I am very satisfied and have no issues recommending Stephen and his wonderful team to others. I’ve attached some During and After pictures, to show you how big the job was. No one wants to see the “before” pictures.

I had a Broken pipe leading from my kitchen sink to the basement, after a family gathering we noticed it was leaking in the basement as the pipe was broken, I called Stephan and he immediately was able to send Robert to estimate the problem, and was extremely helpful and fixed the problem without any delays, I was really pleased with their service, and Robert was extremely polite and wanted to make sure no debris or mess was left after the work was completed, he even vacuumed the area to make sure all is back to normal. I am really very satisfied with how efficient Rooter-Man team are, and will be referring them to all my friends and family if they have any issues or need of plumbing services..
