    Spruce trees in Woodbine

    We had Wes and his crew remove two very large spruce trees, one smaller tree and grind 8 stumps. The crew was great to work with and answered all questions. They even went the extra mile and removed some large, difficult tree roots from our lawn. We will definitely use Wes and his team in the future if the need arises.

    Great job and great price

    After looking over a few quotes we went with Sky High. They were knowledgable on how to handle our huge poplar and ready to start right away. The price was great compared to others. It was sad to see the tree go but it was time, and as a lasting token they made a gift from it for our daughter (a small chair). For going out of their way to surprise us with the chair, having a good price, and communicating the process very well we give them 5 stars. We also passed on the word to our neighbours, 2 of whom decided to use them for work too!

    I was very satisfied with Sky High Tree Service Inc.

    Sky High Tree Service did a tree pruning for a very old Aspen in my yard. They worked efficiently and the clean up was perfect. I would recommend this company.

    Removed 4 trees and 4 stumps

    Good job, well executed at a good price. Very satisfied with Wes and his crew. Don't know why Homestars insists on 30 words but they do hence this last sentence.

    Tree Pruning

    I am not sure if my experience was an anomaly or not but I wanted to share for others to be aware. Sky High pruned our Green Ash October 2015. The Good: The tree looked great and they cleaned the yard impeccably. They even took care to move some garden ornaments that I had forgotten to move before they came. The Not So Good: During the process, the brothers got into some sort of argument which appeared to escalate to the point of yelling at each other very loudly (over wood chipper etc.). I considered asking them to leave as I was concerned about everyone's safety. I stayed inside, however, and waited till someone rang the bell to say they were done. I did not say anything at the time as I felt very uncomfortable with the experience. As stated above, the tree looked great at that time. Fast forward to Spring 2016 and I start noticing several dead branches on this newly pruned tree. Upon inquiring with the company I was informed that the branches likely died since the pruning and that was that. I am by no means an arborist but just thought others may want to hear about my experience.

We are happy that we were able to provide you with Impeccable service and go above and beyond. This is something that we pride ourselves in and is reflected in our other reviews from our thrilled clients. Our service speaks for itself which you noted. That being said, it appears that you've left a negatively rated review for reasons separate to our impeccable work which we need to address. First, we yell over the chipper for obvious reasons - it's very loud and we wear ear protection. In order to communicate, yelling is standard. We ask all Home Owners to remain in their homes when we are working especially when the door is in such close proximity to the trees we are working on, for obvious safety reasons. Second, you phoned us 8 months after the service we provided for us to come and see dead branches on your tree. If there was an issue with our service, it should have been addressed upon completion. However, as per your review, our service was impeccable. For branches to die over the winter is a very common occurrence in trees due to freezing temperatures which can cause this, branches dying; which is what happened to your tree. This has nothing to do with the pruning and cleaning 8 months prior. It appears now, that since we refused to service your tree after the branches died, for free, that you've decided to write this review. As you stated twice in your review, the tree looked great, we cleaned the yard impeccably and even took the extra step to move garden ornaments for you. Any other details brought forth in your review are irrelevant. We will continue to provide this impeccable service for our clients. If you'd like to discuss further, please do reach out to us.     Removal of very large spruce tree

    We contacted Sky High, they were quick to get us an estimate and came on the day they were supposed to. They not only removed our very large spruce, cleaned up as they went along but were a very friendly bunch of people. In addition they also pruned three of our ornamental crabs which we could no longer reach. I would recommend these group of people to anybody.

    Tree pruning and removal

    I contacted Sky High this spring for a quote to prune some large evergreen trees in our yard. They provided a very reasonable quote within a few days. They came, as arranged, and did a great job of pruning the trees, leaving no mess at all behind. A short time later we decided that a large blue spruce tree in our front yard needed to be removed. Again, Sky High was pleasant and prompt in providing an estimate. They removed the tree as planned, and hauled all the wood away, leaving the yard very clean and neat. I would have no hesitation dealing with them again in future for any pruning or tree removal needs. Linda and Wes were both excellent about responding to questions I had when arranging both of these jobs.

    Removal of 55 year old Birch tree

    Prompt, professional, and personal - We heard from Linda almost immediately to our e-mail request and Wes was over to assess the site and quote within days - nice to actually meet him before we committed to the job - our job was scheduled and the 'team' showed up as planned - Micah (up and down in the bucket) and 'Happy Dan' (as he's now known) were punctual and immediately at work - we were extremely impressed when Wes showed up to ensure the job was completed - clean up ...?... wouldn't not have known they were even here - we will be calling them again, and so will the neighbours who have already requested their # - thx Kent and MJ

    Tree Removal

    This company was mentioned by a neighbor so I decided to give them a try. Great choice! Wes returned my message promptly, did a quote within a couple of days and ended up being able to complete the work of removing 2 medium and 1 small tree all within about 4 days. Linda in the office is super friendly and was very prompt in answering questions. The work was done while I was a work and when I came home you would be hard pressed to know anyone was there other than the small heap of mulch where the tree once stood. Very impressed. Thanks Wes and Linda.

    Tree Removal

    We need to remove a Mayday tree in the front yard. Wes and his staff did a great job, very professional and efficient. Good service and good price! We will use this company again!
