I received about 10 proposals for the removal of this large tree which was severely damaged in the freak snowstorm of September, 2014. After checking out some references on the web, I decided to go with Wes Rixon who had recommend a more practical approach to my bid which would save us some money. The professionalism, quality of work and concern for safety for both his people and the public were just outstanding. They came, quickly assessed the best placement of their equipment, planned the sequencing and went to work methodically taking this huge tree apart. The clean-up of the branches and sawdust was great and they piled the wood cleanly where I wanted it so that it could dry properly and not be in the way this summer. I am extremely pleased with my choice of Sky High for this project!

Sky HIgh did an excellent, efficient job of cutting down and removing tow large spruce trees from our yard. Pre-job communication was excellent, they showed up on time and a great job not to mention at a very reasonable cost. I would highly recommend Sky High Tree Service.

Wes and his crew were very professional and their removal of my tree was done safely and exactly as contracted. They left the worksite totally clean and tidy. I would recommend them highly.

For future reference, in 2014 we had a September snow storm that destroyer many trees. A major branch on my backyard tree came partially down on my fence and garage, right next to some power lines. I made a phone call to Sky High, sent them some photos, all in the evening. They were there in an hour and took care of everything. I don't have any knowledge of arborist type stuff, so I can't say if they did a good job (seems like a great job though) but they're customer service and responsiveness is amazing. Will definitely be calling them again for future service.

Wes and His Guys are the Best. The job that they did in removing our trees are impressive. My family and myself was going to Canmore for breakfast the morning they came to removed the trees and by the time we head back home, Wes phoned and said that they are done, my husband and I looked at each other and pretty much shocked how quickly they got the job done. We came home and found how beautiful our front yard and backyard look without the trees that taking all the space of our yard. Thanks Guys.

Called them and Wes came out and gave me a quote. I had 2 other quote a and they were higher. Wes did the job as son as the rain stopped. They did a good job and I have rcommended them to other people.

After reading the reviews I had very high expectations for Sky High Tree Service and they certainly did not disappoint. Wes was prompt with his estimate and gave adequate notice when the work would be done. Wes, Micah and the crew showed up on time to remove a very large spruce tree from my backyard. It was a challenging removal because of the size and location of the tree but the Sky High team handled the work with care, efficiency and a high degree of professionalism. They also pruned a large spruce tree in my front yard and that work was done very satisfactorily as well. However the aspect of their work that I absolutely appreciated the most was how well they cleaned up my yard, roof, eaves troughs and the next door neighbour's deck. I didn't have to pick up even a twig. Excellent service. They certainly deserve the award they received.

We had two trees removed recently by Sky High. There was too much snow at the time to remove the stumps, however with the recent arrival of spring Sky High returned to grind out the stumps. The work was fast, efficient and fully completed at a reasonable cost. I would highly recommend their services.
