    Basement Floor

    Tilestars did a fantastic job with the basement tiles. Sasha and Chris managed to complete roughly 1000sqft of tiling within 5 days. They kept to their deadline and provided me advice on how I should go about tiling the floor. Dimitri was very patient and kept in contact with me while I was deciding on different parts of the basement renovation, which took me several months to decide. He did not pressure me to go with his company, he provided me free advice and was very pleasant to deal with. Tilestars pride themselves on high level customer service, I can attest to this as they were consistently ensuring I was satisfied and happy with their work.

    Successful kitchen tile project

    I'm very glad someone referred me to Tilestars. They did an excellent job tiling my kitchen floor, and they used quality materials at each step in the process. There was a hole in the floor from a previous contractor near one corner of the room, and instead of just tiling over it, they worked with me to fix the hole first. I also needed some advice about how the tile would meet up with a half-finished hardwood job, and they suggested a way to finish the hardwood, and now everything looks even better than I hoped. The tile and grout is as good as new after 6 months.

    Main floor tiling and kitchen backsplash

    This review is long overdue. We hired Dmitri after consulting with a number of other tile setters, as we needed to re-do our entire main floor. My husband and I were extremely pleased with the way Dmitri explained things to us and since we had already done our homework we knew that he was genuine and knew his work. Dmitri also helped us in buying beautiful porcelain tiles at his cost price - which saved us quite a bit (nearly 900 sq ft). He and his crew were punctual, efficient, cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. He also came back and redid some of the tiles, since he was not too happy with it. The end result was beautiful and to this day (nearly 4 years) we get compliments on the flooring. We have recommended him to quite a few of our friends and will not hesitate to contact him if he need more work done.

    Girls Bathroom & Boys Shower

    All around top notch guys who provide the right combination of quality, price and service. Would not recommend anyone else for any and all of your tile projects. Definitely look forward to working again with Dmitri & Vlad in the future!!

    Tiling of Fireplace

    We hired Tilestars for our fireplace project. They needed to tile the space around fireplace insert. They did an excellent job from start to finish. Everything was done on time. Vlad showed his great craftsmen's skills and he was able to listen and understand all the details what we needed for this project. We just love how the work was done and spend our time by the beautiful fireplace.

    Retrofit masterbath tile and laid powder room tile

    I cannot say enough good things about Dmitri. He and his team did a beautiful job repairing a botched tile job in one washroom and laying tiles in another washroom. Tile Stars aims to please- Dmitri answered all my questions with expertise, they finished early and on budget, they cleaned up after themselves daily, they were punctual, courteous and a pleasure to have in our home. They made, what could have easily been a stressful experience, smooth and painless with a beautiful end result.

    Shower Floor retiled

    Needed a shower floor redone for home sale. Dmitri was able to arrange for service in two days. Outstanding workmanship and customer service. Used the team for the new home too - kitchen and rec room. Would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

    new home flooring project

    Bought a new house and wanted to have get new flooring in kitchen and basement before moving in. Dmitri came out and made some great suggestions about the kind of flooring to get. Went with a high quality tile that looks like wood. Beautiful! Dmitri, Sasha and Chris did a great job and made sure we were happy with aspect of the project. They were the first to point out any work they were not satisfied and they made sure to redo them. And they were done earlier than expected! Hard workers with high standards. THANKS!

    Beautiful Subway Tile Shower

    I found TileStars via HomeStars based on these reviews. Dimitri was very responsive to my initial phone call and was out to the house in a matter of days for a quote. He began the install the following week. He was very friendly and personable throughout the process, answered all my questions and concerns. Even with some hiccups with tile itself, he remained very positive and accommodating. I very much highly recommend TileStars, and I will be calling back for my kitchen backsplash.     Kitchen backsplash

    We had a kitchen backsplash done at he start of November. Dmitri and company were punctual, clean, efficient, and accommodating. In a nutshell, a professional crew who delighted us with their fantastic work. Definitely recommend these guys!
