    Repair of main shower

    Fantastic! We called Dmitri to come and repair our main shower cubicle which was leaking through to the kitchen - our house had been 'flipped' previously and the old home owners had compromised in quality. The shower floor was graded incorrectly leading to the water pooling and this started to leak. We had reached out to another company who had been recommended to the work and they were not interested I the job - it was not a big or sexy one. Dmitri came by and quoted a very reasonable price given the amount of detailed work there was to do. He dealt with finding tiles to repair the floor so I didn't to have to deal with that. The work was completed to a very high standard are we are extremely pleased with results. Not only that, Dmitri called me a couple of weeks after the job to check in and make sure that everything was good and we were happy. We are planning a new kitchen backsplash in the next few months and we will be calling Dmitri for that job too. I could not recommend Dmitri more highly.

    Tiles

    After having a horrible tile experience, I am happy to write this one was a complete success from top to bottom. Dmitri and his team came in, assessed, quoted and delivered exactly what they said they would do. Even told us where to find tiles at a great price! The tiles were done great and NO CORNERS WERE CUT! overall a great experience and I will definatley have them back to do my bathroom tile work in the near future...

    Backsplash install

    Absolutely awesome. I hired Dimitri because of the reviews here. He did try to save me lots of money on tiles like he did for others, I just bought Home Depot tiles already and at much higher cost. His prices were much better! Dimitri came on time, did job as promised, charged as promised, cleaned up and gone out of his way to keep us happy. Top customer service, great prof work. Will hire again! You should too!

    demolition and retiling of kitchen backsplash

    Dimitri definitely lives up to his reviews. He is quick, efficient, tidy and the workmanship is beautiful. You can tell he really takes pride in his work and cares about his reputation. Upon asking him for a quote for the project, he asked me if I had selected my materials yet. I told him I had, and when I shared with him the price (including my designer's discount), he told me he could find it for better. He did - almost by 50%!

    Kitchen Backsplash

    Our's was a new home and we spent a lot on kitchen upgrades. The last thing pending was backsplash and we wanted someone who could help us decide couple of things and also do an excellent job. We called Dmitri and was kind enough to give guidelines over phone on how to select tiles. Later he made a visit to our home and educated us on the different options that we could have and gave us a quote. On the day of the job he showed up on time and completed the job as promised. The backsplash looks great and we are extremely happy on his work and we highly recommend him for anyone who wants the job done with quality and in time.

    Installation of Lime Stone 16 X 16

    I called Dmitri from Tile Stars after having a previous tile installer not comming back to finish the job. Dmitri came out to see me the next day quote the job and was working away 3 days later. Dmitri was very professional, punctual and always responded to phone calls or text messages. The job was finished on schedule at the price that we originally agreed upon. The workmanship was great I am very happy with the finished product. I have delt with many tilers over my various projects and I must say Tile Stars are the best I have come accross thus far. I will be using them again for my other projects and would definitely recommend them. Thank you Tile Stars.

    Kitchen Back Splash

    After looking online for different contractors we're happy we went with Dmitri and TileStars. Coordinating the job was a relative breeze by phone and email. Because we went with a simple white subway tile, having good workmanship was very important to achieve the clean look. Dmitri showed up on time, was professional, provided all that was agreed upon and was very efficient. During the job we had some design questions which Dmitri had good insight into and glad we followed. he also provided some suggestions prior to coming onsite which also really helped also. We're very pleased with the quality of the work done, his installation judgement and clean up.

    Wall Unit Facing

    Outstanding workmanship, attitude and professionalism. Living in a condo requires adherence to facility requirements and hours - Dimitri's staff ensured that all was in place and went out of their way to make certain that the job ran smoothly. Their attention to detail and cleanliness was exemplary! I highly recommend Tilestars and won't hesitate to invite them back for any jobs in the future.

    Backsplash

    Dimitri installed our kitchen backsplash. He was responsive, dependable, on budget, offered great advice. Work was very professional. Very polite. Highly recommend! Work area was left clean. Accepted his advice to reconsider original backsplash material that we had selected. Good decision.

    Tiling of uneven basement kitchen

    Dimitri was an absolute pleasure. His work is impeccable - you can tell he's a pro right off the bat. He made great suggestions as to the tile to use, he levelled a section that would have otherwise been impossible, and he laid a beautiful looking tile floor overtop of the most uneven basement floor you could imagine. Probably saved us 10 thousand or so from not having to dig out and repour the floor. Not only is his work terrific, he is always on time, he cleans up better than even I do, and he's always communicative. Can't recommend him highly enough.
