    Electric Stove

My stove did not work at all. It would trip the breaker every time it was plugged in. A technician came out and said it would cost $280 in labour but he was fairly certain he would be able to locate crossed wires or something. He seemed to fix it but I didn't realize until after he left that the warming drawer element was on and could not be turned off so I had to unplug. Company says that is a different problem and that they would have to charge me a second service call ($80) to come out plus layout to fix. They say I signed off on it working. They took no responsibility for the fact that the technician inadvertaintly (I assume) caused this problem. I did not get them to come out again. They are not to be trusted.

    fridge repair

Reception was very friendly, gave me my different options for the booking time, asked me when I am coming back home so they’ll know what time they can be there. My fridge was repaired right on spot, he had all necessary parts in the truck. Great company!

    "Attempt" to fix Dishwasher

Hired this company to "Fix our Dishwasher" they came in and charged $280 and said they needed to order a part and come back to finish which was supposed to be included in the $280. The Customer service team then called me to find out the model and the serial number so they could locate the part as they said their technician did not know what part was needed to fix the dishwasher and did not know where to locate the model and serial number(which any professional would know is on the inside of the door). I spent most of the week sourcing the part for this company which turned out to be only $55 part. They called me back after a week to tell me that the part would cost an additional $300+ additional labour charges and that our original agreement of $280 we had already paid did not include this and changed their story that the $280 charge was just to "Service" the dishwasher(We did not call them to "service" the Dishwasher - We Called them to fix it). This company is unprofessional, amateur, and fraudulent. Please do yourself a big favour and DO NOT EVER use this company to fix anything.

    Dryer repair

A technician came by ($90 flat charge) and before opening the dryer quoted $285 plus parts (standard rate for fixing a dryer he said). He could not even assess the problem or quote likely part requirements or cost. He also said repair would only take 30 minutes but he didn't know what needed to be done. Considering the replacement cost of dryer was likely $550 I said no thanks. He was in my house for 90 seconds and I owed him $90 for nothing, not even a proper quote. I then went on Youtube, learned how to open dryer, assess the problem, order the parts and made repair for a grand total of $49. My personal opinion is that this company is more about ripping people off and collecting the service charge then providing reasonable service.

    Repair a Maytag range

One of the heating element was partially burnt (part of the inner most portion does not turn red). I call this company and ask for a quote to replace this parts. But the customer service insist to send me a technician and the fee is $80. (not even with a quote). Techinican arrived and suggested a kind of 'no parts replacement' repair and the cost is $280. In fact, it was only an inspection and took less an one hour. Finally, he confirmed that this part needed to be replaced and the addition cost is $350. The total cost ended up over $600 and I can actually buy a new range with this sum. Finally I paid the only inspection cost but refused to replace the element. It was a bad experience. I shall reluctant to repair any appliance in future espeically with this company.

    washer repair

Stay away from this company. Like other reviewers on this site we were under the impression that the visit would be $80 to determine the cost of fixing. When the technician arrives he told us that to determine what is wrong he would have to charge us labour $280, but most of the times he can fix it without new parts. He determined that a new part was needed and he would call back that afternoon. He never did. I had to keep calling the office to get an answer. After 2 days of calling we finally get an over priced quote for $495 plus tax! When asked about the part name or number they do not give it. You would think after $316, we earned the right to know what part is defective. They obviously have no intention of repairing my still broken washer. I recommend not dealing with this company. The cost of labour and parts are overpriced and their practices are misleading.

    repair gas GE dryer

The Technician - Shay, was on time, friendly and diagnosed the problem very quickly. What I liked best, is he took the time to explain it all to me. I had other repair guys from KIJIJI who just ripped me off. Thanks Service4Appliances.

    Washer repair

We had a washer that was leaking for a while, we tried another appliance repair company, who replaced a part but problem returned again within two months. Service 4 Appliances repairman fixed the problem without replacing any parts, on spot! It haven’t leaked since then.
