    washing machine

Wish I had gone to this website before calling this company. Technician spent 15 minutes "fixing" my machine. Afterward he told me that parts for my machine were no longer available. Three loads of laundry later it wasn't working again. Company offered to send another technician for an additional "discounted" fee. Do you use this company!!

    Dryer repair

Not only did the service guy arrive on time, he was a bit early. He was polite and worked quickly. He explained the problem and got the dryer working in less than an hour.

    Refrigerator

I always use this web site and I feel dumb that I didn't check this site before I let one of our employees contact them to repair the fridge. It's the exact same story as everyone else...$80 to come inside and another $200 to actually take a look. He then realized he couldn't fix it without replacing the board for another $400+ dollars. We told him to leave. Got paid $280 for an hour of work with no success. Nice gig. I've had other appliance repairs and this isn't how it's done.

    Service 4 Apppliances - Fridge

I had a very bad experience with Service 4 Appliances. A small outside fridge needed to be repaired and a technician said that there was a problem with the compressor. They charged me $280.00 plus tax, $316.00 and they told me it should last at least 2 years and it broke the same week they repaired it. I asked for a refund but they would absolutely not give it to me but they would be willing to put a new compressor which would have cost me $1200.00. I think they are very unprofessional, unreliable and dishonest. They should have charged me only for the service call. I will never call them again and would like to warn people to be very careful with this company.

    LG microwave repair

My 2 year old LG built in micro-wave stopped heating food. I googled the problem on the internet and found that it was likely the fuse for the magnetron that needs replacing and that it was a $20.00 part and that it would not make sense to buy a new one. So I Googled an appliance repair company and unfortunately found Service 4 Appliances. The website said $80.00 for the service call which would be refunded if we used their repair service. Well, just like all the other reviews on Homestars I thin k we've been had. Mike showed up and, firstly only wanted to talk to my husband even though I was the one who called for the help. Then he took a cursory look at the oven, then told my husband it would be $280.00 for the labour + the cost of parts. My husband, not knowing about their $80.00 service fee told him to go ahead and fix it. 20 minutes later he tells my husband that the magnetron board needed replacing and that he had to go back to the office to get the price for it. About this time I came into the room and saw the bill of $280.00+HST, found out that the oven was still not fixed and that there would be additional $$ for the magnetron part. When I asked for a ballpark on how much this part would be he would not tell me if it was $20.00 or $200.00 but he would call me the next day to advise. Well it's the end of the next day and have not heard anything yet, we are in the hole for $318.00 and counting for a 2 year old microwave oven that cost us $400.00. It would have been appreciated if he had told us, just go buy a new oven instead of gauge our eyes out for the price of a new oven. Would NEVER, EVER recommend this company!

    Washing Machine repair

I asked for a technician to check our washing machine for $80. He came and asked for $200 more to fix it plus parts price, if there is a need for it. He looked without touching anything and said that maybe the motor is failed, which he can order for $700. We said no need, we are going to trough out the machine. Then he billed us for his no certain diagnostics for $200 plus $80 for just showing up. It was a rip off.

    LG Stove Repair

My LG stove burner failed and I contacted Service4Appilance to repair it. Found the company to be prompt, professional and courteous. The service tech (who's name I forget) was very good and corrected this burner issue. Would definitely recommend them!

    multiple appliances repair

I have used this company for both - my home and my investment property where the tenant misused the dishwasher. The repair man arrived to both locations on same day. They made sure to send the same person in order to make it easier to deal with. great service!

repair leak in fridge water dispenser

My fridge was leaking water, and although the fridge was still operating, constantly having a towel to mop up the mess was annoying as my husband was out of town he recommended I call a service techinician. I researched a few company's on the internet to find reviews that mentioned good service for a reasonable price, this is how I decided to use Service 4 Appliances. The technician arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem, he said it was a leaky valve and he would have to shut off the water, take it apart clean it and reassemble and seal it. I asked him a price and was told $280.00 dollars, I was extremely shocked but I guess I'm naive and I assumed it required a lot of time and effort to fix therefore I gave him the go ahead to complete the job. I was quite shocked when he was finished in 20 minutes. I have no complaints about the work done and the technician was very friendly but the price was way too high (especially when no new parts were involved). I think this company took advantage of my lack of knowledge of repairs and I would not recommend them to anyone. Kathy Smith, Ajax

    service4appliances

I was told that the technician would come, take a look at my dishwasher and will go from there by either fixing it or ordering the damaged parts. the technician came 1 hour earlier than the time we agreed on, he was very rude and only took a look at my dishwasher and told me that we need to order one part and everything will cost 365 I said ok. after that he informed me that the total is 500$, I thought it was very suspicious that the amount went up this much, therefore I asked him to cancel it. The technician asked me to pay him for taking a look at my dishwasher, which is 316$. He was in my place for less than 10 minutes and took 316 $ for fixing nothing!!! I would never recommend them and I wonder why they are still in business.
