    Attic Mold Removal

    After discovering mold in our attic last fall we searched the web and found The Mold Guy. After reading their customer reviews we were really impressed. We gave Ross, The Mold Guy, a call and he came out to give us an estimate. He was very reassuring that it was treatable. He seemed very honest and didn't make it seem worst than it was. We had to wait about 8 months before getting the work so we could get our finances together. He honoured his original quote which demonstrated to us his business ethics. Dealing with the office staff was very pleasant and helpful in answering any questions we had. The crew showed up on time ready to work and completed the mold removal in a very timely fashion. Thank you for making this project with little stress and no surprises!

    Mold Remediation in Attic

    Phil and Alan came, on August 4, 2015, to remediate the mold in our attic. Immediately, we noticed how courteous and pleasant they were (early mornings don't always jive with everyone). They worked efficiently, did a great job cleaning up (you couldn't even tell they were there) and were very thorough in explaining what else needed to be done. We also were very satisfied with our interaction in communicating with Ross, Kay and Erin. How a company communicates and interacts with us is very important when having to deal with people helping make our home safe. We would definitely recommend The Mold Guy, Mold Detection & Removal to anyone requiring similar service. Thank you!

    Mold removal in kitchen

    We contacted the Mold Guys when we found out we had mold in the drywall of our kitchen. The appraiser showed up same day, was knowledgeable and upfront about the costs. The crew showed up the next day, all of whom were very courteous and polite. They were careful with the demolition, taking down only what was necessary. The bulk of my kitchen was saved. The mold remediation was thorough. The owner of the business even showed up after to inspect the work. Very pleased with this company and would recommend them to anyone.

    Attic mould removal

    We needed mould removed from the attic of our new home. After approaching several other companies we called the mold guy. The quote was given to us over the phone and was exactly what the removal ended up costing. They arrived on time and completed the job quickly and ahead of schedule. The workers were friendly & helpful with advice on how to prevent mould from forming in the future. My husband and I could not be happier with the customer service & professionalism we experienced with the Mold guy :)

    Mold Removal

    I dealt with Kay on the phone and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. She was able to get a quote for me on the same day! The guys doing the work were on time, honest and friendly. They were experienced and explained everything they were doing to remove mold in the attic. I'm very happy with the service and would recommend The Mold Guy without hesitation.

    Inspection

    The first pleasant interaction you'll have with this company is with the delightful Kay on the phone. She went above and beyond to make sure that I was given the most immediate and accommodating time slot for the Inspector's visit. Even when better slots became available Kay went out of her way to contact via voice mail and text message to give all the best newly available times. Lucas the inspector arrived on time as arranged, called ahead to give a courteous heads up, showed up in great spirits and went to work right away. He was quick yet thorough with the inspection, then he took the time to suggest all the quick fixes I can do on my own to maintain my place without even suggesting I hire them for the minor preventive fixes he was listing. He was very helpful, honest, and professional. I even mentioned some unrelated renovations I was interested in pursuing and he immediately contacted Kay to connect me with their usual contractor with no further benefit to their company as my inspection was done and cleared. These guys are the best and I would urge you to not waste anytime looking any further!

    Mould inspection

    Had a free mould inspection from Ross at the Mold Guy. The company was able to send him out very quickly, within 24 hours. The receptionist was very friendly and knowledgable. We had found mould in our attic so wanted an expert opinion. Ross was very experienced and pleasant. He was extremely thorough in his inspection of our problem. He even explained to us why we had the mould problem in the first place and what we needed to do to keep it from coming back. Would definitely recommend this company. We didn't actually have them do any removal as we decided to just redo our entire roof as it was needed anyway and we just wanted to get rid of the mouldy attic boards altogether.

    Mold Inspection/removal

    I purchased my home in 2012. When I moved in I noticed the basement had a cold cellar and the doorway had been sealed with cinder block. Over the last year I started to notice water seeping under the bricked in doorway. It was obvious the cold cellar was leaking and the previous owner didn't fix the water issue but simple had it closed in. I have since dug the entire foundation and waterproofed to ensure water could not penetrate the wall of the cold cellar. I also sealed the top of the porch and the ashes surrounding to ensure water could not penetrate through the cracks. I was at the point I was ready to re-open the cold cellar. I had mixed advice/quotes from many contractors as high as 8000 dollars to build a negative air and remove the brick wall in the event mold was in the cold cellar. Today I have the privilege of speaking to Ross and Kay(2 of the most friendly and kind people I have dealt with in customer service). Kay was soooo friendly and helpful listening to my unique situation but though it was best I speak directly to Ross. When I called Ross and had a chat with him, he gave me some amazing advice and educated me about mold and my situation. He could have charged me a couple of thousand dollars to do what I was able to do on my own for nothing. I have now taken the wall down and found absolutely no mold. I found a perfectly dry cold cellar with solid concrete walls and a clean concrete floor. These people are truly amazing, honest and professional! Thanks again :)

    Mood removal

    I just moved into my house here in newmarket with knowledge of mood in the roof. I was able to book the mold guys for 3 days after closing without issue. The guys came very early and were very efficient in completing the job and letting me know solutions to preventing any further mold from growing. After completion they showed me pictures of before and after. I am happy to have a mold free home!

    Bathroom damage inspection

    We called The Mold Guy after noticing some kind of damage in our bathroom. The representative was able to identify that it was in fact mold, show me where the water was coming from, explain the extent of the damage, and what needs to be done in both the short and long term to resolve the problem, including what I could do myself. He was polite, helpful and informative.
