    Mold Inspection (Air Quality Test)

    Due to its age, I needed to know that my house is not contaminated with hazardous mold. Ross, one of the company's certified mold inspectors performed a mold inspection and an air quality test. Not once was I pushed into re-hiring them to take care of something that I myself already can. While Ross was inspecting my place, he kept giving me tips and suggestion on how to fix and prevent current and potential future mold problems. I learnt more about mold in an hour with Ross, than hours of online research. I was very fortunate to have hired Mold Guy for this task task. What I got from them was complete honesty and professionalism.

    Mold analysis and remediation

    I called the Mold Guy after looking around HomeStars and checking reviews. I was in quite a jam, trying to sell a family member's older condominium in Toronto that turned out to have a few mold issues. The first problem was the mold. The second problem was that I live in Montreal. The third problem was that I had to make an emergency trip to New Brunswick while all this was going on. Basically, Kay and Ross were a terrific help to me through the entire process. There was no drama or delays, they had the place cleaned and ready for finishing in basically two working days. They even recommended an excellent contractor to do the drywall repairs, painting and carpeting. I am totally satisfied, and more. I am actually grateful.

    Inspection of mold in closet

    We called The Mold Guy after noticing some mold growing on the ceiling of the closet in our baby's room. We were fairly certain it was a result of a leak from our air conditioning unit, but being nervous first time parents we wanted to get it checked out to make sure it wasn't the result of a bigger issue in our attic. The Mold Guy was able to send an inspector the very next day. The Inspector, Ross, was friendly, polite and knowledgable. He looked at our attic and a couple spots in our basement and he gave us an honest and realistic assessment. He let us know that the small amount of mold could be cleaned up ourselves, instead of trying to upsell us services that we didn't need. He also provided great advice and tips on what we could do to prevent moisture and mold issues in our attic and basement, which was above and beyond what we originally called for. We would definitely recommend The Mold Guy and call them again if we ever had the need.

    mold analysis

    I was concerned about the mould levels in my home. I found this company on the internet. They were reliable, punctual, thorough, knowledgable and came quickly. I was very pleased with their service! Ross Sullivan answered all of my questions and gave me advice and solutions to my issues even after receiving the report.

    Seepage in basement causing mould

    Insurance Broker referred me to another company and the quote was over $10,000. Someone recommended these guys and not only was I charged less than a quarter of that quote for the exact same job but the work was done quickly and precisely by two very personable men who went above and beyond.

    Mold Removal in Kitchen Renovation

    We began a renovation on a 40 year old kitchen. Mold was discovered in a wall where the previous sinks were located. The contractor and I were able to reach owner Ross Sullivan within approximately 10 minutes, book an appointment for the next day and have his team return the following day for the mold remediation work. We appreciated Ross's quick response and expertise on the situation. Ross also checked several other mold potential areas of our home. His team were excellent. We would very highly recommend Ross Sullivan and his team for any mold inspection and remediation work. We also know of several other people who have used "The Mold Guy" and were also very pleased.

    attic

    mold in the attic, they came, respected our home, work was efficient and least or no mess left for us to do. work was amazingly done. would most certainly refer this company.

    Mold removal in basement

    Kay, Lucas and team were amazing from the moment I contacted them online. Scheduling the inspection was quick, estimate for work was received the same day, the work was performed a day later and we received a "clearance letter" the following day. Fantastic service (the house was so clean) and the quality of their work was great. While I would never want to have to deal with a mold issue in the future again - if it did occur, I would use The Mold Guy without any hesitation.

    Basement Mold Remediation

    The Mold Guy did a mold remediation in our basement suite, and they were very professional. Their work was quick and thorough - and the workers were very pleasant. Our basement is now mold free. I would definitely recommend their service.
