    Mold removal

    I had The Mold Guy, remove mold from one of rental houses, from a remote location and they handled my unique case with precision and professional tact. I felt very important, and accommodated. The job was done well and on time. I got what I paid for. Thanks Kay.

    Air quality test

    My boyfriend has been a home owner for 10 years and a very hard worker. He got the run around from a lot of different companies and advising him that had mold. Finally after a lot of stress and not knowing where to look, I came across The Mold Guy. Kay the representative or administration was so calm and helpful with information that I felt stress free. She assured me they would take care of us and help us. She booked an emergency appointment for us on a Saturday as that's the best time that worked for us. When Ross our inspector came he was so helpful and so clear when he did his inspection. Very nice man and couldn't be happier that I contacted them. I assure you this is the best company to hire if you need results clarification and understanding of what's going on with your residence. They are here to help you and make it easier for you. So thank you from the both of us. Our results came back great and within 48 hours. I appreciate all your help.

    Basement Mold Removal

    I called Ross to come over and assess whether mold was a concern in our basement and he could not have been more helpful. He gave great, honest and accurate advice on what needed to be done. His team did a great job getting rid of all the mold and charged a much more reasonable price than competing companies quoted. Ross is extremely helpful and always willing to give advice/answer questions and personally ensured the work done was of the highest quality. Great company!

    Attic Mold Removal

    Kay has done excellent job to arrange the work schedule. It was critical to my case since the deal of my house was only 2 days left from closing. Ross has done great job to clean the mold and write the report. Thanks!

    Assessment and remediation

    Leak and black mold outbreak in basement bathroom. Fortunately limited in scope. Checked Homestars per usual. Found The Mold Guy. The friendly and helpful Kay dispatched the fast and friendly Ross who did an expert assessment. No up-selling. Three-man crew led by Lucas followed up quickly and did the remediation. The team was polite, communicated well, finished early, and cleaned up after themselves carefully. Did what was necessary to confirm extent of problem and clearly remediated it. At $1900 with HST for the package, this isn't the cheapest mold service around. However, if I think about value for money, they delivered big-time. Highly recommended.

    Mold Remediation in Attic

    I called a number of "highly rated" companies on Homestars and most of them lack proper customer service skills. When I did finally call Kay at The Mold Guy, she genuinely sounded happy about doing her job, she was very knowledgeable answered all my questions all of which I am sure she heard about 40 times that day alone! Kay provided a quote over the phone and it was almost 30% cheaper than the top rated company on homestars. The guys came out when she said they would and they finished in less time than reported. They showed me before and after pictures they cleaned up afterwards and I was completely satisfied with the work done and would not hesitate to use them again and or recommend them to others. The owner Ross even emailed me after the job was completed to confirm I was happy with the service and sent me the pictures to keep for my record. Excellent Experience

    Air quality testing

    We wanted to ensure there was no mold in the home we were planning to buy and found The Mold Guy on the Internet. They had great reviews and so called them to do an air quality testing. Kay who made a booking was very courteous and friendly. Ross came to do the actual testing. He is an expert in this field. He was very professional and took the time to explain the detail. He made us feel very comfortable in asking questions on what exactly he was doing. The cost included taking 3 samples for testing, however Ross went beyond and checked our attic to ensure there was no mold there. Even though this isn't their job, he took a walk around the property and advised us of what we should take care of, like re-caulking around the garage doors and basement windows, etc. Things that you don't really think of. I really appreciated that part. The report was sent to us in a week's time with all the details. Thankfully there is no mold in the property. Thank you Ross for your friendly and expert advise. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who requires air quality testing or mold detection in their homes.

    Mold Removal in Basement

    There was quite a bit of mold under my linoleum floors in the basement. When I called the mold guy, Kay was wonderful on the phone. She was very friendly and helpful. Ross came by to give me an estimate in a timely manner. I was pleased with the price and the crew was able to do the work a week later. They did an amazing job. They were very kind and explained everything to me. The place looks great! Very pleased with the whole experience!

    Mold Detection/Removal in Basement

    Just wanted to let you know what a pleasure it was to deal with your company. Ross was quick to come out and give us an estimate on the work to be done, and as his estimate was competitively priced, we quickly decided on trusting him with the job. The day of removal Phil and his crew worked diligently and were completely professional and efficient, finishing the removal and clean up in a matter of hours.     Mold inspection

    Well worth the cost of the estimate. I was not forced into any work, in fact, Ross explained that my mold issues were superficial and I didn't need to expense the money on an overhaul. Ross is very polite and accurate with his feedback.

When you detect mold or think that you have mold, you do not always have a serious mold issue which requires you to spend thousands of dollars.
