    Mold Remediation

    Our leaky roof led to mold growth that was discovered after the emergency response crews came and removed the affected areas of drywall. They then told us that we had to take care of the mold so that they could continue with the repairs. After looking through many companies and getting wildly variable quotes, we chose to go with Mold Guys. Kay was very friendly and helpful over the phone and Ross was the only guy that did a thorough inspection of the problem, instead of pointing at areas with a laser and constantly saying "that's mold". The visit was not free (150$) but it had a rebate option, which you will get, because after Ross comes at your house, you will choose them on top of any other company. His approach was much more honest and proper than all the other people that came in the house (a total of 5). He took the time to look in close detail and sure enough the problem was not as big as other "experts" suggested (they just wanted more work/$$$). The work was done over a couple of days and despite a small delay in getting the spore counts to a level that would make the repair contractors unable to claim inability to commence work, the service that the Mold Guy offered us was very good. They were always available to talk on the phone and very prompt on e-mail correspondence, addressing any issues that we had. If someone asks me about mold issues, Mold Guy will definitely be my recommendation.

    Mold remediation

    I was initially horrified to find mold growing on shoes and clothing in some closets and was in a state that would have been easy for Ross to exploit. Not only did he calm me down, but advised me not to spend more money than necessary and to trust in the remediation process. After remediation, the spore count is at a very low amount and Ross had me put in a couple dehumidifiers to keep the moisture level low enough to prevent future growth. Ross and Kay are both engaging, genuine, friendly people who inspire confidence and trust and who play by the rulebook. I've heard horrible things about some of their competition, in terms of commitment to service and concern for the client. Save yourself a headache and heartache and go with the Mold Guy. I guarantee you won't regret that decision. Thanks guys!

    Mold assessment for condominium

    Knowledgeable, reliable, efficient, and available when you need them. After getting the run around from other companies, The Mold Guy had us booked and the units assessed within three days. They provided information regarding the concern and recommended remediation directly following the inspection. The quote was provided the next day, remediation booked in advance within two weeks of inspection and the price was better than other companies that quoted the job. Ross and Kay have been a pleasure to work with and are knowledgeable about working with condominiums. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

    attic mold

    i cant thank you guys enough for what you did for us Kay was so helpful Ross was very professional and helpful he give us great tips . and Lucas did a great job in removing the mold from the attic don't look for anyone else just call the mold guys thanks again Kay for everything..

    Attic Mold Removal

    Very professional, excellent communication, and solid post cleaning report leaving me comfortable on a job well done. Only complaint is the before pictures were very poor as the flash was concentrated on a beam leaving the rest of the picture dark and difficult to see the dirty area's. That said the after pictures were done right. Overall very satisfied.

    Mold remediation

    My daughter suffers from a mold allergy and I'm heavily pregnant. We live in a 130 year old house which has had many quite serious mold infestations (the toxic black stuff) and required tens of thousands of dollars of remediation (and further reconstruction) work. How I WISH I'd known about Ross years ago. After opening up a piece of drywall in the ceiling of my daughters' room yesterday for an unrelated reason and finding black and pink mold (and old plaster and lathe, insulation and all that goes into a house like ours over the decades) we panicked. Luckily I thought of looking on homestars and came across Ross. I called Kay this morning and within a few hours, Ross was at our house reassuring us that the entire ceiling and everything in it (a very messy and $$ job) did not need to come down. He advised us on how to clear it up ourselves and though I wanted air testing etc he explained why that was not necessary. Because it was my daughters' room in particular and she has medical issues and I was clearly panicked I would have been THE easiest target (and it's very likely that I have been in the past) - Ross could have very easily sold me on a full gut of the ceiling or even the room. I am so relieved!! After undergoing so many renovations in our house and rarely finding a trustworthy expert I KNOW that I will use Ross from now on when mold rears its ugly head (and it surely will in this place). I unreservedly recommend him - do yourself a favor before getting caught up with other companies who will take you for a bundle, do call The Mold Guy.

    air quality report

    Called the Mold Guy after reading the reviews. We had mold in the basement of our rental property, we wanted an air quality test and make sure it was safe to rent because it's an old house. Talking to lovely Kay and having Ross came to the house the next day. Ross came to the house on time and did the inspection, he gave us a list of things to do and did not try to sell us on work we didn't need. He is professional and wonderful as he explained everything to us. We had some issues to take care of and when we finished the work, Ross came back and did the air test. Everything passed. Excellent and honest company, reasonable priced. Highly recommend this excellent company to you!!!!! Once again thanks Ross and Kay!!!! Rita

    Mold removal

    We needed some mold removed from my attic. Mold Guy came out the very next morning and had the attic mold free and spotless within 4 hours. Teriffic service and amazing job. Highly recommended!!!
