    Mold inspection

    Very professional and efficient. I was worried about possible mold in my home. They came quickly and conducted a comprehensive inspection.

    Helpful and Efficient

    I was concerned about the air quality in my little son's room as I noticed that ever since we moved to this house, every time I went into his room to read him bedtime stories, my allergies seemed to act up. I finally decided to call The Mold Guy, based on these HomeStars recommendations, and now I don't know why I didn't call him earlier. I was able to make an appointment within a week. Ross came out and not only completed the 3 tests efficiently (control, basement, and the room I was concerned about), he basically walked around and checked the whole house, giving me tips (eg not having cardboard boxes in a very unfinished room of the basement, checking for dust on the ductless AC units on the third floor that could inhibit air circulation, etc.) I received a full report incl lab results within 3 days. It was a relief to know my son's room was safe after all. Definitely recommend Ross and his expertise!

    Mold remediation

    The Mold Guy is the only Mold remediation company I recommend. From start to finish they are an absolute pleasure to deal with. Friendly and professional service from the front office to the guys on site. They are incredibly responsive and accurate with their estimates and time lines. Im very impressed with their knowledge and expertise, Mold can be a scary issue but after speaking with them I very quickly found peace of mind that any issue I had would become no issue at all. Ive used them personally on big projects and small all with 100% success and satisfaction. Theyve even helped save a number of real estate transactions by being so professional, fast and efficient. Take it from me, they are the best in the business.

    Amazing work!

    I called The Mold Guy when we lifted the carpets in our house and found black mold everywhere. Immediately they had someone come out and make a list of every location in the house that the mold needed to be removed. It was almost just a day later that I got a call that their team was last minute available to come to my house. The next day they showed up and a garbage bin was put in our driveway. This service was incredibly fast, very thoroughly done and the communication was fantastic. Really impressed with this company and would definitely recommend to others.

    Condo Mould Inspection

    I'm a real estate agent and I had an inspector look through a condo in Mississauga that my buyer had conditionally purchased. He found mould and the first company that our team suggested was THE MOLD GUY. Ross was the mould inspector assigned to this inspection. While the mould was minimal, his diligence and efficiency to find the root of the problem was incredible. I would recommend using Ross and THE MOLD GUY if you have any mould issues! Thank you again!

    Mold in Attic

    Before selling our house, we had a house inspector go through it the only challenge was a considerable amount of mold in the attic. Our agent recommended Kaye and Ross. She has used them many times before. Two technicians arrived the day after we called and they worked for about 2 hours to eliminate the mold. They were very professional and very careful about sealing off the attic access to ensure nothing came into the main house. Ross provided us with a formal certificate of elimination which was submitted to the agent. potential buyers were satisfied that the mold had been eliminated thoroughly. some buyers had used The Mold Guys themselves. We highly recommend that this company should be used by anyone with mold challenges.

    Testing services

    I've used the Mold Guy for two homes and I will continue to use them. Responsive communication from beginning to end of interactions. Results came in quick.

    Honest advice and quick assessment

    After a prior leak in our ceiling, the repair guys said there was mold in the drywall they cut out. So we called the Mold Guy for an inspection and potential remediation (the charge is creditable against any work done with them). I spoke with Kay who set up an appointment within a couple of days. Ross came over and after looking up there quickly said the mold was just on the drywall that cut out where the moisture was, and there was nothing else up there. I said are you sure, and he said definitely. Huge relief and saved us a lot of money. While here, Ross had a quick look around our house and pointed out other trouble spots. He proactively asked us to show him our front load washer and cold room, two worry areas, and gave us advice for what to put and not put in the cold room. He left us confident and more knowledgeable for what to do to avoid mold issues going forward. If we ever decide to do more work, we'll definitely call the Mold Guy again. Thank you!

    Mold detected and resolved

    We had a pipe leak which caused damages to the lower level ceilings and flooring. When doing the emergency work, Mold was detected on the the subfloor mainly. We called this company and right from the person taking your call to the inspector coming in to assess to the gentlemen performing the work to permanently resolve the issue, the problem, everything was professional, seamless and well explained. A clearance certificate and a report was delivered and fast. Thank you!

    Mold detected in the walk in closet

    We live overseas and I got some photos from our tenant in Toronto with mold in the master bedroom walk in closet. I got really concerned cause that walk in closet share a wall with the bathroom and I thought that some water leakage from there may have caused the problem, expecting some high repair bill. I got in touch with Kay at The Mold Guy and she was able to accommodate me for a fast next day inspection too get to the root of the problem. I have completely relied on her to co-ordinate everything which she did in a timely manner, always keeping me updated on the works and responding immediately to any queries. They are professional, completely trustworthy and go above and beyond what is expected of them. It was a pleasure to deal with The Mold Guy and I would highly recommend this company. A very well deserved 10 rating
