JMT Roofing and Gutters Inc. reviews (575)

John at JMT Roofing is the most honest roofer I have ever met. His work is outstanding and quality of workmanship is incredible. I've heard many horror stories about roofers in my neighborhood, but JMT was the total opposite. Very professional and detail oriented. I have recommended him to all my family and friends. You can't go wrong with JMT.

I have done a number of renovations over the years but this was my first major roofing job. I called in a few contractors and finally found John and JMT while checking the ratings on Homestars website. I decided to call John and get his recommendation on our leaky roof and receive a quote. I was impressed by his sense of urgency and willingness to arrive quickly to assess the issue. He offered good advice and a verbal and written quotation which was very competitive. I liked his focus on quality products and materials which differentiated his company from the others. When we ran into some poor weather in June, John was very good at communicating the revised schedule and was mindful of the vacation and other work that was pending his completion. The crew showed up early each day and worked late to make sure the job was done. Brian did a great job as the foreman on the job site and made sure the materials were cleaned up daily and that I was notified of problems. We ran into some unexpected issues when old shingles and lack of plywood were found in some spots. This is usually when the relationship with a contractor is tested. In this case, John was fair with the extra costs and ensured that the work was done. The end job is amazing and the selection and finish are of a very high quality. John is a great guy (as is his crew) and they are focussed on the customer and the end product. I would not hesitate in recommending John for any roofing and gutter job. It take a lot for me to recommend any service company but in this case I can honestly say that his ratings and feedback live up to my experience. Thanks again John for a great job!

My cedar roof was 27 years old and I wanted to convert that into fiberglass shingles. I got quotes from various roofers. John offered a reasonable price so that I could even replace the skylights and gutters. His team members are polite and hard-working. I am very happy about the work they have done and now I don't have to worry about leaks anymore.

My thanks go to John and his crew, especially Brian who did most of the work, for a job well done in re-roofing my house. John was able to fit me in his schedule promptly and his crew completed the work in two days plus. From the very beginning the project proceeded fairly smoothly. John responded quickly when asked for an estimate. He inspected the roof and listened to my concerns. He was able to give me a verbal estimate then, which did not change in the handwritten contract, nor when the final amount was due. Brian and the rest of the crew worked fast and efficiently. They cleaned the area of debris every day. The finished roof looks great, and they also rebuilt a couple of small sections of built-in gutter over the carport. Brian even added rain diverters at the corners of the main roof to deflect rain away from the end of the rake and into the gutters. JMT Roofing is a hard working company which I would highly recommend.

We had our roof and gutters done by JMT roofing and painting. They did a wonderful job. The crew was excellent and when they said they were going to be here they were here. The job turned out beautiful and we were very pleased with everything. We would definately get them to do any future work

I first became aware of JMT Roofing through the HomeStars website. I sent bid requests to 3 different companies - John was at our house providing a quote before the other two companies even called me back. I have to admit that, initially, I was a bit skeptical about all the 10 star reviews and the great price JMT quoted us (30% lower than the competition). After receiving some solid references from a handful of John's past customers we decided to hire JMT. What a great decision. John and his crew were awesome - his guys were polite, quiet (no tunes blasting) and extremely hard working. They finished the entire job, including a thorough clean up in 2 days. The gutter team was just as efficient, finishing up in 1 day. JMT was very professional in how they managed the job, offered great value, and provided a high level of workmanship. We are really pleased with the way the job turned out. If you need a new roof and/or gutters we would recommend contacting John and JMT. You won't be sorry.

We were on the market for a new roof. We came across JMT and was a bit skeptical about all the great reviews that was featured on other forums. My wife insisted of giving you guys a call. After meeting them we were sold. John was very professional and honest he was very detailed about what work needs to be done and took the time to go through the quotation. Their prices was reasonable and honest compared to the other roofers that we had asked. After a meeting with Him, we were very happy and know that our house was in excellent hands. He heard that we were getting married in this house and made special arrangements to accommodate our schedule. He was very thoughtful and we felt very well taken care off. The crew that came to work on our house was very courteous and professional. John would visit the house and call to update me on what was going on. Although we know that we are in good hands he still made an effort to keep us in the loop to make sure everything was on schedule. His team noticed something that needed to be changed on our gutters, and both the Forman and John came on site to double check and made the necessary adjustments. The cleanup was very thorough and done with care. Overall we felt very comfortable putting our most valuable investment – our new home - in the hands of JMT. The testimonials and reviews online are accurate. I had a pleasure of working with John. He is one of those old school people that you could do business with just their word. Honest and reliable. I have recommended him to my mother, and my father-in-law. And I am looking forward for them to come repaint my house in a few years. Thank you very much John for your work and all that you have done to make my new home, and family that much better. > Paul

JMT Roofing was referred to me by my father and I am truly grateful for that, it was a GREAT referral. JMT is a group of well rounded individuals that are fast and efficient at everything they do. John and his crew will definitely be doing work for us in the future and I will unquestionably refer all our friends or family to JMT. You guys are by far a first-class company with first-class employees. Keep up the GREAT work!! :o)

My neighbor and I decided it was time to replace our old cedar roof. We had several quotes prior to JMT roofing being recommended to us from a friend who had watched them do three new roofs in their Barnaby cul-de-sac. John was there the next day to give us our quote, he was the only company who actuall got up on our roof to do the measurements. We felt comfortable dealing with him and he turned out to be the most competitve of all the quotes. Brian and his roofing team arrived promptly and did a fantastic job. The site was secure and cleaned throughout and at the end of each day. The roof looks great, we decided to have our gutters replaced too and together the house looks beautiful. Ask John to send you by for a look, then you will have no hesitation using JMT roofing.

I called John from JMT Roofing for a quote on my roof and gutters. He was prompt to reply and estimated the same day. He was very knowledgeable and had many years experience in the business. The quality of his products were very good and his guys showed up on time, worked hard and cleaned up afterwards. John called after a week the work was done to make sure that I was happy with the end results. I would not hesitate to recommend John and his crew for any roofing job.
