    Window Treatment

    We had Model Space Designs do a window treatment for us and it’s quite spectacular. It was a custom window on which they put vertical material panels. The job made for tricky cutting and whatnot, but it was awesome what they did. They also put in a blackout curtain for us in another room. Overall everything was fantastic and the cost was fair for the job. Sara was great to work with, as well. We highly recommend this guys.

    Custom draperies and blinds

    My husband and I recently completed renovating our home and decided that we wanted custom drapes and blinds for our new windows. Because of the number of windows to be covered, we decided to prioritize them and create two phases of the overall project so we weren't overwhelmed. Sara was one of three suppliers who I interviewed and I'm so glad we chose her as she was the perfect choice, standing out head and shoulders above the other two firms. At all times she was professional, very detail oriented, thoughtful, and treated this project as if she were working in her own home. I had some pretty firm ideas about what I wanted for my living/dining rooms and powder room, and she worked patiently with me to help realize that vision making good suggestions along the way, and providing great ideas for those windows where I wasn't sure what to do. An unexpected surprise was that Sara was even more budget conscious than I was - helping me to save wherever we could and where it made most sense. I would highly recommend Sara and Model Space Designs, and do it without hesitation. She kept every promise she made to me - even going out of her way to deliver my draperies in time for a big Christmas party we were having. I'm so delighted with my end product, and have received many compliments from guests to my home. I look forward to beginning Phase 2 with her!

    Blinds and shutters

    I found Model Space Designs through a friend. The project was a very good experience. Sara and the installer stayed on time and on budget and they were also good at follow-up.

    Main floor and bedroom drapes

    I purchased drapes for the main floor and bedroom through Model Space Designs. It was a very good experience, especially the time Sara spent with me making suggestions and going over options. I was extremely happy with the quality of the drapes and the professionalism shown, and Sara's patience as I made my decisions. I wold definitely recommend this company to my friends!

    Bedroom drapes

    I shopped around before committing to new bedroom drapes. I found prices were two and three times the cost for fabric through other companies and the wait would have been much longer. Sara came to the house with a great selection of modern, sleek fabrics. There were no issues with installation and the finished product is of the highest quality. If I had one suggestion, it would be that Sara be less rushed with the customer, I would have liked to have more time for the consultation.

    Bedroom drapes

    I have the most spectacular, raw silk hand-sewn drapes thanks to a referral from a friend! Sara faced the extra challenge of our high ceilings and large windows with no surprises. The cost was below the estimate and I found the installer to be very good as well. The drapes were actually ready early, but they called ahead of time to see if this would be convenient for me. And, they called back two weeks after installation to check in. Very good experience.

    Living room blinds

    I found Model Space Designs and Sara when I saw her leaving a neighbours home. She had samples with her and there was a very good variety, so I chose her for our new living room blinds. The work was delayed one week which turned out to be better for us. My only disappointment was that when the crown mouldings were taken down, they were ruined and we were unable to use them again.

    Hi Shirley. Thanks you for your review. I have followed up with you a week after your blinds were installed , you seemed very pleased and didn't mention anything about the crowns. I'm not sure what you are referring too. My only guess , would be , the tiny area which had to be removed In order to get the blind in. We mentioned this during the measure consultation , that a piece would have to be hacked out . We also asked you if you wanted your general contractor to remove it ,or you wAnted our installer to remove it. it must of been under 2 " of moulding. This was all discussed during the original consultation. Not sure what you are disappointed about ? Thanks Sara

    DRAPES AND BLINDS

    Our home looks incredible with the new edition of blinds and curtains designed and installed by Model Space Designs. We received great advise and excellent service. We highly recommend them !!

    Drapery

    I found Model Space Designs through Homestars and am really glad I did! Sara was amazingly helpful throughout the entire process. This is our first time getting drapery and we had to do our entire home. She was very patient and provided great advice to suit our specific needs for each room. She has great taste and experience and provided us with just the right amount of advice and guidance that we needed. On the day of the installation, she came and stayed until the end to ensure we were happy with the end-product. the drapery looks beautiful after the installation and has really made a big difference to our home. Overall, both my husband and I are very pleased that we chose Sara to do our drapery and we would definately recommend her to our family and friends in the future! :)

    Drapes

    It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with this company. They arrived with gorgeous fabric samples and excellent ideas . I have several windows, many of them being very narrow. The coverings balanced them out, giving illusions that they are centred and larger in size. The Company's staff were so accommodating to ensure my coverings were installed before I moved into the home. They also were flexible with my budget.
