The drapes have made a huge difference in our home. They are absolutely gorgeous. Sara did a fabulous job. Glad I listened to her recommendations - silk for fabric, extremely iridescent and textured. Pirouettes from HunterDouglas, unique, modern with many options to control the light. Worth the investment! My basement drapes (linen with blackout lining) look amazing as well. We get so many compliments. They have also helped to reduce the cold in the winter months which is an extra bonus.

I hired Sara to supply and install shears in my condo. She took the time to show me different materials and was patient when answering my questions - even the ones relating to cost. At first I found the cost of the sheers quite high; I needed to cover 60 feet. However, after some research I found Sara's prices very reasonable. She was easy to get a hold of and if I left a message she returned my calls promptly. Sara did not hesitate when I requested to meet the installer and for a second visit to double check the measurements and plan out the logistics for the install. Throughout the process she gave practical suggestions on material, design and function. To make the experience better, I would have liked to have the order turned around sooner. I trusted Sara Augenblick, Iman Lalji (designer) and Dwayne (installer) with my space, and they did a fantastic job. I would have no problem recommending Model Space Design.

We have used Model Space Designs twice for all of our window treatments in two different homes that we have lived in. Sara is absolutely amazing!! She has such a good eye for design and really listens to what you're looking for while providing you with lots of different options. The installation was a breeze and the quality is amazing!

We hired Model Space Designs (for the second time) to put up drapes in our living and dining room and they did an excellent job. Sara was great in terms of helping me carry our my vision for the space and provided great advise on both the practical aspects of the drapes as well as suggesting what types of materials would work best for the design. We hired Model Space Designs to put up curtains in our new two bedroom condo and they did a fantastic job. Sara was knowledgeable,professional and very friendly. We trusted her with our new space and she was very helpful in making suggestions, our favourite being the sheer curtains in our living room with material all the way from Turkey! Our curtains are beautiful, elegant and contemporary, and we have received many compliments on them. With Sara's expertise,friendly nature and the reasonable cost of the curtains, we do not hesitate to recommend her services to anyone. We are definitely pleased.

I hired Sara's company last December (2014) to do my drapes for the living room. While my interior designer helps me in creating the new vision, Sara provided valuable input in terms of the practical aspect of drapes. I was beyond excited when I saw the finished product. I immediately hired Sara again for the bedroom project. There are two challenges with my bedroom drapes as part of the wall is blocked by an air ventilation duct, and there is a side window (think of a "L" shape). Similar to last time, Sara and my interior designer provided various options which allowed me to make an informed decision, and that is important to me. The design of the bedroom drapes required a cut out with a 90 degree bend, and the final product was perfect. It shows the excellent craftsmanship and I am beyond excited with the outcome. I will be hiring Sara for the third engagement once the second bedroom design is completed. Sara and her team (the installation team) are knowledgeable, professional and efficient. I highly recommend them to all my friends and my neighbours.

We recently had formal roman shades done by Model Space Designs for our living and dining room. From the very beginning, Sara was so helpful in guiding us towards what would look best for our home. Her professionalism and expertise, helped us make decisions that created a beautiful end product. She made the time to go through options with us, and her price quote was nearly half what some other companies were quoting for us. The best part of all, was the time efficiency. We had our shades installed less than 3 weeks after we placed the order, where other companies were suggesting a 6-8 week wait time! The installer, Ron, was also incredible and completed the job meticulously and professionally in less than 2 hours. We were extremely satisfied with our end product and would highly recommend Model Space Designs to all of our family and friends!

I have an 880 square foot condo. They installed blinds in one bedroom, curtains and rods in another. Model Space did a really good job, it looks amazing! My floors are crooked and they made them look even and in a timely manner. They weren't overly expensive, the first place I went to was almost double the price, I think the fabrics I had chosen may have affected the quote. I described what I wanted to Model Space and they offered me comparable choices that were less expensive.

They put in four custom drapes for my windows from ceiling to floor. They were very well done and the guy who installed them was very nice, quite a character, very efficient and knowledgable. done on time

We had blinds, shutters and curtains put up for us by the people with Model Space Designs about a year ago. We loved their work. Sara was really helpful — she assisted us in picking out the colors and designs for the window treatments and curtains. We were very happy with it all.
