Chris was fabulous!! He is responsible, knowledgable, and his workmanship is top notch. Other trades people who have been working in my basement have commented on how well my framing was done. He is a person who has a strong work ethic. I wanted a last minute change,which meant more work for him, and he did not even increase his charge. In addition, when the job was done he informed me that I owed him 200 LESS because of a mix-up on the Rona bill for the material...something I never would have known! His partner Carl is also very polite, professional and answered questions. Great to have these guys in my home! Renovations can be an onerous task! Save your time and just call Krys Construction. You will be happy you did.

I found Chris on Homestars and after reading his reviews and meeting with him I knew he was the one I wanted to frame my basement. Chris is knowledgeable, skilled, enjoys his work and takes pride in his finished product. He is able to visualize completed spaces well and made great suggestions that we did not consider. He has an approachable, friendly personality which him a pleasure to work with. Chris, thank you for the job well done!

We're in the process of finishing our basement. Before we started we read the reviews posted on this forum as well as other home improvement sites. Krys came highly recommended here so we gave him a call. After speaking with him and getting a quote we decided to hire him for the framing work, which was just finished today. All I can say is if all of the other trades we hire are as good as this we'll be very, very lucky. He was fantastic! His quotes were bang on. He told us it would take 3 days and it took 3 days. He made suggestions that made the space work even better than we had planned. He and his crew were the happiest workers I've seen :D Excellent person to deal with, on time, honest and did an amazing job. I just wish he did everything else. I'd hire him again in a second and would recommend to anyone.

Krys completed the framing and subfloor for my basement and I am very happy with his work. He provided me with a quote and a breakdown as well. He and his crew are very efficient,, hardworking and highly professional Once the job was completed, he took back the excess material and reduced the cost of material by that amount, I very much recommend Krys and his crew

Krys impressed us from the start. He was given our number by a friend of ours and called immediately. He gave us great advice and a very reasonable quote. Krys and his contactors are all friendly, professional and reliable guys. They all did a fantastic job and finished on schedule as promised.

After a lot of searching around for a reliable, affordable and recommended company to do our basement sub floor and framing job, my wife and I felt very comfortable giving Chris a call with all of the fantastic reviews we read. From the start Chris was beyond what we expected, answering any question we had within hours of emailing him (15+ questions in total). Materials were delivered the day before he started with no payment required until the job was done. A day an half later it was complete. He even took the leftover wood back while his other worker was cleaning up and came back with an extra $200 for us. Any other company would have probably just kept it. When the job was complete it ended up being $300 under his original quote :). I can't say enough good things about this guy. You get a 100% trust feeling from the day you meet him. Hard working and takes pride in the work he does, trust me the end result shows it. 10/10 hands down!

I highly recommend Chris. He completed our basement subfloor and framing. The finished product is excellent. The trades that follow all comment on the precision of his work. Chris was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, provided a very competitive price, arrived on the agreed upon date, and was in and out within 2 days. Chris arranged for all of the materials (all materials expenses are transparent - and his estimate for materials was spot on), he has great contacts for all other trades and he is a pleasure to work with.

Krys is absolutely great to work with. He gave us a very detailed quote and explained all the options. He lived up to all our expectations - the quality was great, and the job was finished on time. Krys also gave us some very good tips regarding layout and design. If I ever had another framing job in my house, Krys will be the one doing it!
