Just wanted to compliment and once again recommend Chris for his framing work which is by the way excellence at its best. Such a superb job. Everything being plum and square in the basement will make for drywalling that much easier. I can only say good things about Chris and his crew along side the craftsmanship. Thanks again Chris

We hired Chris from Krys Construction to finish subfloor and framing in our basement. We are very happy with work and professionalism of Chris and his crew. Final cost of the job was same as the quote provided when Chris came to my house for the first meeting. On the first meeting Chris was also very helpful and went through everything with me patiently and I asked him a LOT of questions. He also talked to me about the various stages of basement renovation which helped me understand the whole process of basement renovations. He measured the space and provided me with the quote the following day. Chris and his crew were punctual, polite and respectful of our home. They showed up when they said they would and kept everything tidy. Crys told me that the job would take two days and it did. Crys also deducted unused material from the overall cost at the end of the job. At the end of the job all that was left after Crys and his crew left was nicely framed basement. I am naturally wary of who I hire to do the work on my house but with Crys I felt very comfortable hiring him. If you need your basement framed don't bother looking elsewhere just hire Crys and his crew. Thanks Crys

Based on the many positive reviews on this website and on a local online board, we hired Chris of Krys Construction to complete sub- flooring and framing in our basement. We are very pleased with finished job, the professionalism and skill of Chris and his crew, and the fact that the final cost was pretty much bang on with the quote we had been provided. Chris showed up when he said he would for an initial consult, went through everything with us, made a number of observations and suggestions, talked about the various stages of basement renovation, and answered a lot of questions we had. He measured the space and provided us with a quote within a day. In the days following the quote we agreed on a project start date. Chris and his crew were punctual and polite. They showed up when they said they would, removed their outdoor footwear before going to the basement and were very careful moving tools and lumber into the basement. We were told that the job would take two days and it did. Throughout that time Chris brought up any construction-related issues and discussed design options with us. Unused lumber was deducted from the overall cost at the end and picked up a couple days later. The result is a quality framed basement design that we are very pleased with and that we are sure will be very visually appealing when the drywall goes up. Chris was also willing to provide referrals for other trades that he works with often (e.g. HVAC, plumbing, electrical).

We had Chris from Krys Construction frame our basement this past weekend. He was a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. After my initial email to him he came to quote the job the very next day and we immediately knew we would be going with him. Him and his crew arrived on time and they were a jolly bunch. The framing is impeccable and they cleaned up the basement before they left. Chris even deducted some material cost as too much was ordered. Overall we are very happy with him and his work. I have already recommended him to family who is planning a similar project.

Highly recommend Krys he did a wonderful job, was clean, professional and on time. I was debating some options and was extremely helpful. Another huge bonus was he referred other contractors that were amazing like he was! His Dad also does woodwork finishing who does an amazing top quality job too!!

He was able to answer all of our questions thoroughly and had good ideas so that our basement layout was optimal. He and his crew worked diligently over two days to frame our basement and cleaned up the space very well. He also arranged to have extra lumber picked up and refunded to our account. Great service!, Quote was higher than expected but willing to alter designs and recommended more affordable building materials to save cost. Honest, timely and friendly. Felt secure while workers worked alone downstairs and in garage. Good quality, design and overall experience. Upgraded pot lights in the end and took out our junk in our storage for free. Took on some other small jobs in short notice and arranged cleaning service before project ended. Has a team of workers whom can do everything: new insulation, framing, drywall, flooring, electrical, HVAC, painting etc. Loves our dog! I would recommend anyone to give him a call at 416-618-2499 for any home renos.

We had Chris From Kry's and his crew frame our basement just last week. We were extremely pleased will the results from start to finish. Chris is a genuine and professional individual and does exactly what he promises. He and his guys were on time, very polite and cleaned up afterwards very nicely. My kids got a kick out of listening to all three of them sing along to music in the basement while they worked...I've never heard such a happy crew! My youngest boy and his friend were caught spying on the guys a couple of times and they played around and teased the boys which was funny. Did I mention they were fast?!..Approximately 1000 sq ft was finished in 2 and a half days, with everything completely straight and precise. Best of all the final price came in exactly as was estimated. In fact it was slightly lower after some of the excess material was picked up by Rona, all of which Chris took care of. He could of very easily kept the extra material, not said anything and used it for the next job...so this was a nice surprise. I'm extremely glad we chose Kry's and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have their basement framed. Overall a solid guy with a great work ethic and attitude. Thumbs way up!

Chris and his team were finished a large basement framing project in two days. Chris listens to you your ideas and makes great suggestions. He really knows what he is doing, works fast and you can tell he takes great pride in his work. We would recommend him to anyone needing framing/sub floor work for sure !

Just had Chris in to frame my basement. The whole process was extremely smooth, quick, and easy. Chris was on time, under budget, clean and delivered on exactly what was asked.
