Krys Construction provides quality workmanship and stands behind it. While our project wasn’t without challenges (largely scheduling) which is to be expected with any construction project the project was well managed start to finish; each trade was knowledgeable, courteous, and provided quality work and advice; the overall product absolutely met expectations and represents good value for money; and Krys was very quick to have warranty work completed quickly (defective electrical materials beyond anyone’s control) despite the issues cropping up more than 4 months after the project was completed. While Krys did offer a one year warranty I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the repairs were attended to and without having to fight. I would definitely recommend this contractor.

We hired Krys to turn our main living/dining/kitchen area into an open concept space. We are very happy with the end result. He finished right on schedule. Our home was totally clean and move-in ready. We requested a few changes to the plan while the reno was in progress and Krys accommodated. Many thanks to Krys’s great team of tradespeople. We had the pleasure of meeting all of them. They were very professional and clearly took pride from their work. Thanks again Krys, Paulina and team!

Krys and his team were a pleasure to work with. We had our basement fully rennovated this past winter. Our house was built in the 1800's and there were a few challenges as you would expect. Krys and his team did a great job tackling these challenges and did what needed to be done. As promised, they took care of everything and made sure the job was done to our satisfaction. I recommend them highly and will be using them again.

We needed a renovation to our basement to create a home office, and other upgrades to HVAC and other finishes in the basement. The team provided excellent service - were on time and on budget throughout the job, and were excellent at communicating with us. The crew regularly went above and beyond, minimizing disruption and kept the work areas tidy at the end of each day.

Krys is as honest and fair as they come. The quality of his work and happy clients matter more to him than his labor charges. The workers under him (10-15!) were all well mannered, nonsmoking polite individuals. Krys trains them to complete their work and always clean the site each day before they leave. We had work done on our house during covid, and I have young kids in the house. Krys made sure the work went smoothly and we were able to continue our lives as normal while work was being done in the house. The only major issue during was a delay in the schedule. The work took longer than it should have. One project in our house was completed as planed and the other took longer than scheduled. Krys recognized this as an issue and compensated accordingly. The work done was of high quality and clearly and contractors under Krys are very passionate about their work. Despite the delays in the work, we would hire Krys any day based on the quality of his work and his trustworthiness.

Very happy with the basement finishing work Krys and his team did. On time, no surprises, and great final product. Highly recommend Krys for any renovation work.

I cannot say enough good things about Krys Construction! All of the trades were amazing...shout out and many thanks to you all. Krys demolished and stripped to the bones our terrible basement, Steel City replaced & repositioned our furnace, also repositioned our water heater. Krys constructed an area for a laundry room and finished it; reconstructed and finished our den/ small great room. Also stripped and finished our two piece washroom. All work was done to the highest standard! I would highly recommend Krys and all the trades he works with, I am so happy with the work that was done efficiently, cleanly and to a high standard. We would absolutely recommend Krys and his team! They showed up on time, very professional and knowledgeable and completed the work as estimated on time and on budget. The area was always left clean at the end of each day and we could not be happier with the quality of their work.

Apologies as this review is long overdue, wanted to include some pictures to showcase the fine work by Krys construction. We received numerous quotes to finish our large 1500sqft basement. It was evident from the first meeting with Krys that he and his team were the right people for the job. We also had a chance to see a completed basement which also provided more justification on selecting Krys Construction. Krys listened to our needs and provided suggestions. He never upsold, in fact he actually help save costs. He provided a plan, agreement and schedule which we agreed upon. All of his trades are true skilled professionals. What makes Krys successful is the effective management and teamwork to get the job done. No short cuts are taken and each tradesman takes pride in the work which is reflected in the end product. The team are cheerful, work in harmony and put in a full days work from early starts and late finishes to get the job done. They are polite, clean and tidy. Professional at all times, respecting our privacy but also being friendly and approachable. From day one the demo and framing went full speed ahead. Krys was always accessible to answer questions and accommodated changes that we wanted. Even out of hours we were able to get hold of Krys and we were also back on forth via email on many occasions with questions we had. Having been burnt by contractors in the past we put significant effort into finding the right company. We had quotes from many of the big names in the business and we can tell you that the quality is on par if not even more superior. We can also tell you the pricing is fair and reasonable, many of the contractors significantly overpriced based on our premium location and house size however for Krys a job is a job and his pricing does not escalate for any reason. Additionally, note that Krys stands behind any commitments. We had some things needing work post completion of project. We had already paid in full yet Krys still stood behind the work and completed every detail as promised. All in all we are over the moon finding this contractor and would not hesitate to use or recommend for any home renovation project. This is a true extended family business where they all work in harmony to bring satisfaction to their client. Special thanks of course to Krys but also his team; Paulina for all the admin and schedule management keeping things on track Karol for being the machine with the demo and faming – he worked so quick we had to have him undo some things we wanted changed – sorry for making you redo some things! Wojtek for the flooring and amazing attention to detail for our staircase – a true masterpiece! Scott for the insulation – He lived up to the promise to seal so not even an ant would get through! Roberto and Carlo for all the drywall work – extremely skilled and experienced which is evident in their work Mike for all the advice and installation of all the AV work. We ended up adding a lot of things because we were so happy with the work you do. Attention to detail, solutions that work. Clean, tidy and extremely professional. The home theatre has worked out to be amazing – showcase for any visitors! Handy Andy the painter. You worked tirelessly to get things done. You remained professional when we decided to change the paint in one room after you had already finished painting! You truly lived up to delivering customer satisfaction, no matter what our complaint you made it right! Bart for the amazing tile work in the bathroom, we need you back to do more projects for us! Last but not least Adam. This guy is a machine. The attention to detail on the trim was unbelievable. Your creative ideas to solve problems, your suggestions and overall happy attitude makes it a pleasure to have you around the house working on things. Great work, wish you great success in the future and I’m sure we will have you back for more projects!

Krys and his team did an amazing job. They were on schedule and fairly priced. Would not hesitate to recommend him!
