    Tree removal and stump grinding

    Thank you, We lost an old friend in our tree that was taken down. But Alexander and team did the removal fast, safely and cleaned up like they were never there. Thank you for the great job. I would recommend them to anyone that needs help with sick or dying trees. Regards Joe

    Excellent tree trimming.

    Alexander and Matt did amazing work in trimming/shaping our trees. They were efficient, cleared all debris and we really appreciate how good our property looks now. We would definitely recommend Alexander Tree Care.

    55 foot tree and stump removal and new tree planted

    We were pleased to have our tree and stump removed and new tree planted this afternoon by Alexander Tree Care. He came a couple of weeks ago and professionally gave us advice on the tree to be removed and the best replacement tree for the soil and size of lot. After the job was done he ensured that the lot was cleared and cleaned up. Our new tree looks great and Alexander said that he will come and check on it in a couple of days which confirmed Alexander Tree Care was our best choice to get the job done. John and Angela

    Tree Removal, Planting, Maintenance

    I have used Alexander Tree Care multiple times over the past few years to help with various tree removals and tree maintenance tasks, as well as more specialized arborist knowledge services to assist with general health of the trees and shrubs. They have done a great job of all, including helping to extend the life of a treasured but declining spruce. The huge spruce was finally removed this year, along with a lilac tree/bush and a few smaller shrubs. Replacements were planted. Stumps were ground, gardens were cleaned up and mulched. The property was left in immaculate shape.

    Tree and stump removal

    We had planned to hire Alexander Tree Care for a stump removal, tree removal and tree trimming job. Alex charged us $50 for the assessment and quote on the jobs. He came quickly to quote on the stump removal but said he couldn't give us a quote on the other jobs right away. He said he would come the Thursday or Friday of the week to do the stump removal. My husband got off work early so that he would be home for the stump removal but Alex never showed up. He didn't call to cancel or reschedule the appointment. We eventually called and finally got a hold of him and he came to do the stump removal. Then he said he couldn't give us a quote for the tree removal until later and said he would come the following Monday. He couldn't tell us when at the time but said he would call. He never called and never came on Monday. We decided that we had to hire another company to do the rest of the job because he is not reliable. We are a busy family with young kids and we could not keep chasing him down to do his job. Then on a Saturday afternoon when we had guest over, he showed up at our door without letting us know ahead of time to do the quote of the tree removal. We told him we had hired another company and he immediately got very upset at us, turned his back on us and walked away. We were shocked and felt disrespected that not only did he not apologize for skipping his appointments and not calling to follow up, but he was rude to us when we told him that we had to hire another company.

    We were willing to prepare a work order for you on the day of our initial visit. It encompassed a stump removal and removal of a tree. Our consultation fee would have been applied to the proposal. Instead you opted to only have the stump removed. You required time to consider your options about the quote regarding the tree removal given verbally. On the day of the stump removal, you had reconsidered to move ahead with the entire proposal. We informed you that we would have to return on the following Saturday to finalize the contract. When we arrived on that day, you indicated that you were in the midst of leaving town. No contract was created as a result. We advised you that we would attempt to return at some point during the following week. We are presently in the midst of a very busy season and make every effort to see our customers as quickly as possible. We were very surprised to see that you acquired the services of another company following much praise about our completed stumping job. We apologize for any inconveniences that this miscommunication may have caused.

    60 foot Spruce

    Alexander and Matt did a phenomenal job removing a monster spruce from our yard before the next wind storm did. The guys showed up when they said they would, worked safely and efficiently and did a spotless cleanup. We would highly recommend their services.

    Limbs taken off my tree

    Alexander and Matt were true pros, they were always in constant conversation making sure it was safe to continue. They did exactly what was agreed and cleaned everything up at the end of the job. Alexander Tree Care will be the Company that will be doing all the future work on my property

    Tree Removal and Stump Grinding

    Alexander and his crew (Matt and Alexander) did a fabulous job in removing a large and awkward angled tree that was growing through our cedar hedges. This professional team did the job with ease and safety in mind. They were very aware of our new garden shed and not to damage our neighbour's property. The stump grinding was also completed with expertise. We were very satisfied with the overall job, the clean-up and the fair price. We would highly recommend this company for your tree care needs.

    Big Job, No Problem

    Alex and his team did an amazing job on our HUGE honey locust tree. His price was by far the best and the clean up after each visit was just awesome, my husband and I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
