    Radiator repair

I needed a few issues resolved with my radiators and Kris knew his stuff, no question. Regular plumbers are not always sufficiently knowledgeable about older systems and it is often best to refer to the specialists; this is Kris. He was also extremely prompt and I had my questions answered on the spot.

    Answer from pro:

Hi Catherine, Its always a pleasure working in your home, I'm happy you were satisfied with our service and look forward to being your go to mechanical contractor for years to come.

    Radiator

Kris did an excellent job on the radiators at my rental property. I had initially called A Budget Heating and they told me that I needed to replace two of radiators at a cost of $5000. I called Denmark Mechanical for a second opinion. Kris inspected at the radiators and told me that all the was required would be some plumbing work to the pipes. He came over the next day and he did the job quickly and efficiently. Now all the rads in the house work perfectly and they heat up the room nice and toasty. He saved me over $4000 dollars. As you can imagine I was exceptionally pleased with his honest quote and his excellent work.

    Answer from pro:

Many Heating contractors (furnace installers) and Plumbers don't know basic hydronic heating concepts. People who bring contractors to work on their radiant heating systems should find out if they understand how they work. I'm glad everyone was comfortable after we finished our work there. Thank you for the review.

Remove and install stove; service boiler

In the fall, Kris and his assistant removed an old gas stove, installed a new one, and serviced my boiler. Removing the old stove ended up being a big job, and they had to drain and move a radiator in the process, but they got the job done. Kris asked for $50 extra after the job was done, which I wouldn't usually go for, but given the time it took them (much more than they'd anticipated), I thought this was reasonable. It was a huge old 1950s stove and it took them 2 hours to maneuver it out of my house. He also took the time to explain how the new hook-ups were set up and to answer some general questions about my boiler. Both were nice guys, professional and pleasant to deal with. I'd definitely call him again.

    Answer from pro:

Hi Tim, yes that stove was definately a challenge to remove and replace. But not something we couldn't handle, glad you're enjoying it. Thank you being understanding when extra costs are incurred due to unforeseen circumstances.

    Boiler repair

Kris was a pleasure to deal with. He took the time and effort to thoroughly explain the mechanics of our boiler to me, gave it a lot of careful attention, and installed/replaced several parts at a reasonable cost. He was easy to reach by email and arrived right on time for all three visits to our home. Although we have yet to resolve the stubborn problem of water dripping from the overflow pipe of our boiler, this is due to no fault of Kris's. I trust in his integrity and competence and highly recommend him to others.

    Answer from pro:

Consistent Customer service is very important to me and everyone Else at the company. Explaining how a heating system works is something I really feel is necessary for homeowners to know so they can feel confident that hot water heating is the most efficient, healthy and comfortable way to have their home heated.

Replaced 3 rads after power outage.

Excellent company. Came quickly and even though it was an emergency charged very fair. Clean, respectful and I guess competent as everything works perfectly. They went over to my neighbours after and changed valve on his furnace as he couldn't fill his rads. Charged very fair again, had the part in his truck. I highly recommend Chris. Will defiantly use him again for any plumbing issues that I hope never come up.

    Cold radiators

My upstairs rads were cold and bleeding them did no good. Denmark came out and immediately determined that my water pressure was low. They made an adjustment or two and after I bled the rads (while they were checking out the water pump) the rads warmed up. They found a minor leak in the water pump but suggested it could wait. They also found a possible problem with a galvanized elbow but again suggested waiting till after the heating system. They were finished in half an hour. I was thoroughly impressed with their work and strongly recommend them.

    Heating System replacement

In the middle of a renovation in February it became obvious that all of the pipes for our hot water heating system needed to be replaced. At short notice the work was done neatly, efficiently and for the price quoted. he explained what needed to be done and why and why the other quotes we had received had been so high. With this cold winter we are so glad we had it done. We recommend Kris 100%. He is honest, a hard worker and is knows hot water heating systems better than any other mechanical company we have ever used in 27 years of owning how water heated homes.

    Answer from pro:

Having your radiant heating system in 3 zones definately helps to make comfort and control easy in your home. I'm glad we were able to quickly replace the entire system as fast as we did. Thank you for the review, working in your home was a pleasure.

    Radiator/Boiler iissues

2nd attempt to fix cold rads in 3 story house. Prompt arrival, zeroed in on problem, fixed problem in 2 hours. Heating now great. I am pleased with Kris's handling of this matter & recommend him highly.

    Answer from pro:

Hi Maureen, getting heat to 3rd floor radiators needs a bit of fine tuning on the system but it's maintenance well spent for a winter we just had. I'm very glad you enjoyed our service please contact us with any other heating needs in the future.

    New Radiators

Kris Denmark from Denmark Mechanical Inc. is such a professional. He is not only courteous and respectful, but his workmanship is at a very high level. I had Kris tear out some old rads and install some new ones. He knew exactly what needed to be done and how long the job would take to complete. His pricing was fair and he was on time, there when he said he would be. I am extremely happy with his work. I will be calling Kris for all my plumbing, heating and cooling needs in the future. Thank you Kris.

    Answer from pro:
