    new boiler and water heater

Kris is a competent, reliable and honest professional and a great and friendly person overall. He solved my 12 year old constant headache by replacing a badly designed and broken combination boiler with a new high efficiency furnace and a water heater. Since the task proved to be quite complicated and took a bit longer than expected, he sacrificed his weekend and came in next day on Saturday to complete it, which just shows you his commitment to his clients! Kris did a great job installing the new system and making sure that everything works perfectly after the install. Great job, Kris and thank you!

    Answer from pro:

Hi Nick, Thank you for writing a review. It was a difficult job working in such a tight space but not impossible. I'm glad you're happy with the new boiler and our service. We take a lot of pride in our boiler installations and relationships with our customers. Have a cozy winter.

    BBQ gas line hookup

Kris was great, I had contacted a few other contractors who either never responded to my emails or were difficult to coordinate with. Kris responded quickly and was able to come out within a couple days. He explained things to me and was able to hook up our bbq gas line which had been capped by the previous home owner. I would use/recommend Kris' services again. Thanks so much and we are really enjoying the BBQ.

Radiator Reconnect - Supply line Reroute

As part of a renovation we disconnected radiators. We called 2 other companies before finding Denmark Mechnical to reroute supply lines / reconnect rads and install a new rad in our entranceway. Excellent work. If you want a professional with courteous service that is on budget/time - Call Kris @ Denmark Mechanical. Very satisfied customer.

    Answer from pro:

Hi Wayne, There was some challenges re routing your heating lines but that's our specialty. The cast iron radiator we installed in your entrance way adds a lot of elegance to the area. Thank you for writing the review.

    Reconnect Radiators

As part of a renovation we disconnected a couple radiators to do some tile work. In retrospect, this was not a smart move and we ended up having a lot of trouble with our DIY approach to reconnect them. We contacted Kris once we realized that we really needed a professional to look after this, and boy did he save our bacon from what we worried had turned into a disaster. Kris responded quickly and professionally to our initial request for an estimate, and he was able to come and do the work to reconnect the radiators the next day. The work he did was top notch, and he spent the time explaining to us how to resolve some other issues we were having with the system. He also gave us a nice written summary of what to do in the unlikely event we discover a leak elsewhere in the system. Kris also installed a gas and vent connection for our gas dryer. All in all, we were thrilled with Kris' work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs radiator or gas work done.

    Answer from pro:

Hi Adam, I'd like to share something that you learned from this renovation, that whenever anyone is going to replace the floor under a radiator, call a company that can remove the radiator and extend the supply and return pipes coming through the floor to accommodate the new height of the floor. Often this is overlooked until the new floor is in and neatly extending the supply and return isn't a possibility. I'm glad you were happy with my solution and continued customer support. I look forward to being of service to you at any time in the future,

    Install Radiators

This is the second time I have had Kris come replace and install new radiators (but my first review: sorry Kris). I've asked him back because we were very satisfied with the earlier work and expect will ask him back after a reno is complete. Kris does quality work and is responsive and professional. His knowledge of the product as well as the dynamics of radiant heating is obvious, especially important in basements. And he doesn't try to sell you sthg you don't need. He is no hack giving band-aid solutions and then getting out of there. He's a good guy and I trust his work. Thanks Kris

    Remove a gas appliance

I was most impressed that Denmark Mechanical was willing to respond very quickly to a minor emergency request to cap a gas line. The installer heard my panic and was able to rearrange a very busy schedule to help us out. This is after calling several other companies, all of whom told me I would have to wait 2 weeks for service. Thank-you Denmark.

Hi Susan, when at all possible we try to attend to emergency calls regardless of the size of work. Thank you for writing this review.

    Gas line installation

Kris from Denmark Mechanical is a real find! A plumber that we had used years ago retired, and we needed someone new for a variety of work. A friend recommended someone who no longer does residential work, and he, in turn, recommended Kris. The first job was to connect a new gas stove. This required a long run of pipe through some tight and tricky areas, and inserting a new connector in the existing line. Kris did a beautiful job! He is a friendly and conscientious guy, and a meticulous worker. We will certainly turn to Denmark Mechanical for any future plumbing work, including an upcoming bathroom renovation. Thanks Kris!

    Turing off/on gas water heater

Kris Denmark is a gem: totally professional, a gentleman, and best of all, willing to adjust his schedule to work around other tradesmen. We needed to have our gas hot water tank disconnected for two days to do some waterproofing in our basement. It was then to be moved and reconnected, and we scheduled Kris to do both. When our waterproofers asked for an additional day to complete their work, we called Kris to reschedule the reconnection. To our mutual dismay, Kris was going out of town that day, but rather than leave us without hot water over the weekend, he offered to stop by in the evening after the other workmen had left. We were delighted.

    Answer from pro:

Hi Lisa, at Denmark Mechanical we try our best to ensure customer satisfaction at all times. Sometimes it isn't possible to quickly change our work schedule for last minute changes but we do try our utmost. Thank you for writing a review.

Kris arrived at the scheduled time to diagnose our Giant hot water tank problem. He was able to source the needed part quickly, and had the new part installed and the tank up and running very quickly. I would recommend Denmark Mechanical and would definitely hire Kris again.
