    electrical upgrades

    We recently had some electrical upgrades done in our home. The two gentlemen (Chris and Kyle) were very professional; also took time to answer our questions. Cost was less than original quote, which these seniors can really appreciate, given the rising costs of almost everything else these days! Thanks again Rob for your original consultation. Job well done!

    Electrician

    Excellent "on time" service received for some minor electrical improvements to our home. The 2 guys were courteous and even vacuumed up after themselves! That really impressed my wife. The price was lower than I estimated. Good value! Rob runs a reputable reliable company.

    Electrival

    They did a most excellent job at my house, not only did they get it done quickly but they explained to me how to fix it myself if i ever ran into this kind of problem again

    Installed sub panel, 20 amp GFI circuit for Counter plugs, 120 volt 15 amp circuit for exhaust fan, replaced mast on house for the feed from garage, new wiring from the garage to the house, replaced mast on the garage and make secure, provided all electri

    We needed to find a company willing to tackle the electrical work in our older 1955 home. Previous work to upgrade our electrical panel and add additional kitchen receptacles was not done up to code and we were left with a really big headache. Now we had to find a true professional willing to find and correct the errors that were made. Thankfully Robert answered my email pleading for a pro to help make our home safe and up to code. Fortunately with Robert’s experience, knowledge and great sense of humour he was able to ease our stress and give solutions to all our problems. I received an estimate within a couple of days and his crew was able to start the work within a week! Not surprising with this older home we did run into a small hic-up however Robert was very generous and split the cost for the additional materials needed and the labour was waived! Thank you again Robert. The electricians did have to return the next day to finish up the work due to the hic-up but we were still thrilled that the work had started on time and completed so fast! Added to the bonus of Robert applying for the permits needed and the inspections I was saved a lot of work and headaches. When they finished the crew were great at cleaning up the exterior and interior which may not seem like a big thing as I my house was still in renovation mode but very impressed they took the time and cared. I will be recommending Robart Electrical to everyone I know….only wished we had called them the first time!

    Basement Lighting

    We started a basement renovation and my husband was adding in some additional lighting but unfortunatly developed brain cancer and could not complete the job. I called Rob as I reviewed many many nice reviews about his company on Homestars. My experience was fantastic as he called me back the same day and had his wife call me with an appointment. His electrician arrived and after talking with my husband and inspecting what he had done and not done mapped out his plan of attack. He did a great job and the cost was lower than what I expected. I would and will be hiring Robart Electrical for future jobs!!

    Moved main panel, new fan

    We had the main panel moved in our new house (from a bathroom!)& upgraded with a surge protector. A new bathroom fan was installed & a number of new switches & GFCI's were installed. The job was done promptly and exactly at the quoted price. The coordination with Epcor & the inspector was impressive resulting in minimal time being without power. Chris also tracked down and fixed a nagging issue with a socket in about 10 minutes. Everything was cleaned up at the end of the day. We definitely recommend Robart Electrical!!

    Electrical wiring

    Had 2 jobs completed: Bedroom electrical outlets repaired and garage outlet installed near garage opener. Prompt efficient, polite service both times.Explained work completed. Robart Services are professional and give excellent service.

    Hot Tub Wiring

    Rob and his staff were professional and polite. The job was well done and I would have rated Robart a 9 or higher but there was a small part of the job where the cable came up over a block sticks out about ground for about a foot and then runs underground when they could/should have easily removed the block and ran it completely underground. When I asked Rob about it he replied that I could do it myself easily. Rob and I have since met and worked this situation out. Clearly we had some original miscommunications which we resolved.

As described at the original site visit and the quote, it was never intended that we would be responsible for the removal and replacement of block walls. We use flexible weatherproof cable to go over block walls as we discussed. I appreciate your comment. Rob

    Electrical

    After awaking to find my house had half of the electrical working and having work school and daily activities to attend to first It was afternoon before I could deal with problem which I had no knowledge of how to deal with. Called friend who referred my to electrician who referred me to another who on a late Friday afternoon was able to walk me through a process to determine where the electrical problem was . Robart Electrical Thank You Thank You ! You saved our house from a fire by taking the time (although very busy) to assist in what need to be done and who needed to be contacted to look after problem. You were right on what you suspected as the problem. Had we waited till Monday we would not have our home! No doubt your company goes that extra mile! HIGHLY RECOMMEND your company!

    Electrical work - aluminum conversion, etc.

    I hired Robart Electrical to complete a conversion of my aluminum wiring and install a bunch of new fixtures. They replaced all plugs and switches and did a full investigation of my wiring to ensure everything was to code. Chris and Brandy arrived on time and were very pleasant to deal with. The job took the estimated two days and the final price was as quoted. Rob was easy to deal with and he will be the first guy I call if I need additional electrical work done.
