If I have a scale of 10, I will give Aiad and his team 11 out of 10 for his super work. This is a company that you can trust . They do such a fantastic job that I can not describe how satisfy I am. Aiad and his team surpassed all expectations. The arrived at our home every morning by 7:30am . They worked through awful weather, including snow and strong winds. They delivered not only a phenomenal job, but also displayed a high level of professionalism throughout. They not only met our budget, they also completed the project a little earlier than planned, despite the weather. The customer service Aiad provided made our experience with him unforgettable, and will be the reason that we recommend him to all of our contacts. If you're looking for stucco, Aiad is your guy. He gave us a very reasonable price, delivered earlier than scheduled, and provided impeccable customer service.

One of our windows broke in the area his team was working, because of the tarp and strong wind. Aiad took care of the window seamlessly; at no point did we feel the impact because it was taken care of so quickly. He made sure we were comfortable with everything along the way by checking in at various times, sharing his advice and following through on our wishes. There was one area that was stucco'd in a way that was different than what we preferred, Aiad went back to that area, removed it, and did it over again. Aiad made several suggestions based on his expertise that made a remarkable impact on the overall presentation of the home, we are so glad to have taken his advice and suggestions. When we homeowners started thinking about doing true Exterior Insulation Finishing System (EIFS) on our house, the hardest part was not doing research about this pretty new system, or selecting right materials, or doing right matching moulding design. Actually it was mostly about picking a quality contractor that would make the difference between a job done right and an utter nightmare. Horrified by the stories about horrendous contractors, and based on our own recent experience, we were not sure taking upon a job. Than a streak of pure luck just hit at us: On the most helpful home renovation website, Home Stars Toronto I looked up the top ranking stucco contractor, and narrowed to Aiad, owner of Cosmopolitan Construction. His original estimate was at the level with others, and we went into signing a contract for him to provide all labor, materials and necessary equipment for the installation of Durabond Quantum Select EIFS all around the house for the price of $23,000.00, including moulding installation. Because EIFS is still new to the Canadian market, I would advise to seek information from the manufacturer, and in my case Anthony in the Durabond Mississauga office was one of the most knowledgeable resource one can communicate with via email. Additional moulding beautification added up to $3000 for the cost of materials (Canamould mouldings and ArtMoulding medallions). Aiad started the preparation work one day ahead of time, delivering scaffolds and materials to be ready full throttle right from the start. He started the work on Saturday September 14th and the entire project run till Monday September 23rd, 2015. One would wonder how is that possible, and the answer is simple - the weather and temperature cooperated, Aiad and his right hand Besrat worked tirelessly with the professional dedication and precision all day long, and building the crew up to 6 people when most needed for applying the finishing coat. Cosmopolitan Construction is one of the rare contractor I praise for delivering outstanding work on scope, time cost while not compromising on quality. But everything did not go as in a fairly tale, as one may imagine. The problems started from in the beginning when the crew applied the EIFS panels on one side of the house. Some of the panels fell down at the smallest pulling, or some of them were flying detached of the wall surface. At that moment I stopped further work until we have agreed on the viscosity of the applied mortar. Once the crew diluted the mortar with more water, the application got in order. In the same tone, we have requested metal flushing at the bottom of the EIFS layer, but Aiad started convincing us that we do not need this feature. I have to call the manufacturer support Anthony of Durabond, learning that flushing helps with melting snow, with channeling the water and preventing bugs and ants to get under the panels, and with such strong arguments Aiad finally agreed to install flashing. Once these issues have been settled, everything else went much easier. I can not explain these early hiccups, though I have to admit that the crew needs some time to adjust to a new building and new style of installation. Once they tuned their tools, they worked as well-oiled machine. Again, while post-inspecting the work I have found small imperfections, which the window installers afterwards had problems with, but it was nothing major. At the end, I do feel Aiad and the crew have done my house as they may have done their own, regarding the quality of the application. He also hooked me up with contractor that did the complete outside house caulking. Our house looks like a mansion now, and I do hope that we make right investment into EIFS and Cosmopolitan Construction.

Aiad and team completed the job on time and on budget. They were courteous, well mannered and showed up 8am sharp everyday (and worked it hard!). Our job involved the added mess of tearing down the old insulbrick, it was messy but the team did the tear down and clean-up within the day and you would never known it happened. This was a necessary job as it exposed any deficiencies that needed repair before adding the plywood, styrofoam and stucco. The stucco lines are clean and straight. Attention to detail was paid around the mouldings. As well there was some tricky work around heating and electrical conduit that was ended up looking great. I hired an outside crew to build/install the windows, flashing and downspouts and another to do cut the hole for the sliding door and install the lintels. Aiad recommended a caulking person who finalised the job. Overall I couldn't be happier with the work and finish provided by Cosmopolitan Construction. A+ in my books and would recommend them to anyone.

A few months ago I tried contacting many of the companies in this section to help me fix some plastering-stucco problems in my dining room ceiling. Many of them didn't even bother to reply to me. However, while Aiad was busy with other work, he did reply very politely informing us of his availability. Once we decided to go ahead with the repair, Aiad came right away, and did a very good job at a very reasonable rate. He was efficient, very courteous and also cleaned the area. We are very happy with the repair and can finally hang our beautiful dining room lamp!

This was our second time hiring Aiad and his team, once again they have done an amazing job! Aiad and his guys were very polite and took much pride in their work, the work area was kept very clean and work completed was excellent! I would highly recommend Aiad and his team, they are amazing people to work with! All the best Aiad!

Aiad and his Crew did a fantastic job on our home. It was evident that he had a great sense of pride in his work and the finished results are fantastic. Worth noting is the fact that we had new windows installed before Aiad began working. He took extra care in making sure no damage was done while doing the stucco work. Highly recommend!

We spoke to numerous contractors both listed and not listed on HomeStars and decided on Aiad as he was very personable, appeared trustworthy, addressed all our concerns and had a very reasonable price. He is also one of the few that uses the PUCC system for water drainage as opposed to the older EIFS system that uses adhesive ribbons. From what we've read, the older systems do not drain water effectively and can cause mould which was why the PUCC system was invented. Aiad and his team were very accommodating, showed up early every morning, stayed late and worked hard every day. They were done in 5 days while our neighbours down the street who used someone else are still not finished 3 months later. Cosmopolitan also did a good job of cleaning up the stucco after sanding (styrofoam flies everywhere) especially in our neighbours yard. Aiad was very focused on ensuring that the house looked great and we received many compliments from our neighbours afterwards who liked the look and were impressed on how efficiently they completed the job. It's like we have a new house. I would highly recommend Cosmopolitan to anyone looking to install EIFS stucco.

Aiad and his crew did a great job repairing some stucco/EIFS window sills for us. Several surface cracks had developed on some of the window sills. These needed to be repaired to avoid future serious damage. I couldn’t find the original contractor who had done the installation and I was having trouble finding a contractor to do a small but tricky repair like this. Aiad came out on short notice, assessed the problem, described the repair, and gave us an estimate that was reasonable. He was knowledgeable and straightforward to deal with. Once he had the go-ahead, he came within two days and repaired the sills well. The tricky November weather unexpectedly brought some rain a few hours after the last part of the job was completed and it disturbed a bit of the paint before it had dried properly. Aiad sent someone out as soon as the weather permitted (which happened to be a Saturday) and touched up the paint. I was very impressed with his professionalism and attention to schedule, quality, and detail. I am very satisfied and highly recommend him.

After many estimates and months of deciding, we are very pleased with the job Aiad did for us. The old stucco and insulation on one entire wall had to be taken down and redone. The other walls were patched. It all looks great. Aiad and his crew were always prompt, polite and a pleasure to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
