We called Dave after discovering an interior leak we suspected was related to the roof. Dave was thorough in his inspection and lovely to work with. He fixed one small issue on the spot and was willing to come back and complete the slightly more substantial work that needed to be done which we were so grateful for. Having the roof inspected gave us great peace of mind and we were so glad to find this company. Highly recommend.

I had roof damage caused by a windstorm. I suspected the job done by the roofers sent by my insurance company did a poor job. Dave did an extremely thorough and comprehensive inspection and confirmed my suspicions. He then wrote an excellent report that will support my efforts to have my insurance company remediate the work. I highly recommend Dave and would not hesitate to use him again.

Hiring Dave to do a roof inspection was the best move I made towards getting my roof fixed. When it became obvious that my roof needed repair, I despaired as I had been taken advantage of in the past. I decided to start with Dave so that I would know what was really needed and what was not. Dave provided me with a comprehensive report, photographs, and his personal explanation of the work required. The roof required a few small repairs and replacement of the eavestroughs. I discussed the work required with Dave. As it was difficult for me to find someone to do the small repairs, Dave was able to do them as well. He said that although he no longer does full-scale roofing, on occasion he will do repairs for his clients due to the difficulty in finding a roofer to tackle them. I could not be more pleased with both the inspection and the repairs! In addition, Dave also gave me invaluable advice for when the roof eventually would require complete replacement. He would also be available once the roof was completed to make sure that the job was done right. Dave provides a complete service from start to finish. For me, the best part was that Dave provided me with peace of mind. No longer did I have to keep second-guessing or worrying that I was being taken advantage of. I recommend Dave wholeheartedly in every respect!

I required an unbiased opinion on which repairs would be needed to my roof. I found Dave on Homestars, read the positive reviews and decided to give him a call. Dave provided a thorough assessment of my roof and advised which items required immediate repair. He also managed to find the source of a leak that had been causing dampness around one of my windows. Dave's report was thorough and clear; pictures of the problematic areas were included. After I had hired contractors to repair my roof, Dave returned to inspect the contractors' work and provided me an additional report detailing items that required follow-up. Again, his report was thorough and clear and pictures were provided. Throughout the process Dave demonstrated a high level of expertise and professionalism when interacting with all parties involved in the project. Definitely recommended.

I noticed signs of external water damage and feared the worst. Dave had done some work for me a couple of years ago and I reached out to him. He offered to look at my roof over the weekend and identified a couple of minor issues (loose/dislodged flashing and some caulking gaps) that he fixed himself. Had a small leak from the window pane. I had no clue about roofs so I hired Dave so I would know exactly what the problem was. He was quick, efficient and professional. He created a detailed report with pictures. He was able to fix the leak and recommend repairs I should do immediately and when I should start considering replacing the roof which I was relieved to learn would be 5 years. When I was having trouble finding a roofing company willing to come out in January for repairs only he made a recommendation for a company that was also great. Thanks Dave

My roof needed work - new shingles and some slate repairs - but I received different opinions and prices from roofing companies. So I decided to get an independent assessment. Independent Roof Inspection Services provided great service. Dave inspected my roof and provided a detailed report with photos, advising what needed to be done. He gave me advice on selecting a roofing company, and once the work started, he monitored the company's progress and communicated with the contractors in a professional way on site. He was also available by phone and email when I had questions. After the job was done, Dave made a final inspection and confirmed that the work had been completed properly.
