We contacted Rick of AC Appliance Repair on Friday about a dishwasher problem in one of our tenanted properties. Rick was very accommodating and was able to arrange an appointment for the next day. Although this was not suitable for our tenant, Rick was able to offer me 2 other days to choose from. Eventually we arranged Wednesday afternoon (at the request of the tenant). He was prompt and was able to complete the repair in a very short period of time. Because I was not able to be present while the work was being done, Rick kept me updated by email throughout the day without being asked. We have now used his services on 2 occasions and I would definitely recommend Rick from AC Appliance Repair without any hesitation.

Our circuit board went on our oven, Kitchenaid did not have the part, on back order. Rick sent it out to have it rebuilt, kept in touch with me and updated me as to when he would be getting it back. Rick is very honest, knowledgeable and courteous and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an appliace repair person. i was definitely not prepared to buy a new built in for $6000, Rick gave me options.

The tenants in our condo notified us that both the dishwasher and washing machine were not working. We didn't know a reliable contractor in the appliance repair business and so we turned to HomeStars to find someone. I called Rick from AC Appliance Repair and he went to look at the problem the next day. I was not able to meet with him in person, but he stayed in touch with me by phone throughout the entire process and kept me up to speed. He was punctual, very courteous and, according to our tenants, he did a great job. He was able to troubleshoot the problems and fix them quickly. He was also very fair with his pricing. I was a bit nervous calling someone I did not know. But, this call ended up working out extremely well. I will definitely keep Rick's number handy and I know several friends who are always looking for an appliance repair guy. Now I know a name I can forward to them. Thank you, Rick!

Our stove suddenly shorted out one day and took our condo's power out with it. Power was easily restored by the breaker, but the stove obviously needed servicing. Rick was pretty quick to figure out the problems (there was more than one) and had us up in running. Seems like an honest guy and since I was interested in what he was doing he spent time to explain to me exactly what went wrong.

I was referred to Rick by another business who was too busy to get to me for 4 or 5 days. Rick was available the next day. He told me between 12 and 4pm the next day and arrived at about 1:30. My tenant had described the freezer as not working well and smelling burning. Sounded like the motor to me. He took a look at the fridge and found that the motor needed replacing which he did quickly and efficiently. He charged me for the motor and labour and then dropped his service call fee down from $60 to $40 and I ended up paying $203 for the job. The fridge is running well. Rick was very friendly and a nice guy, I would definitely recommend him and I would use his services again.

Rick has been in my house more than once to fix my dishwasher and replace a burner on my flat top stove. He is very professional. Gets the work done, and, does it well. He did not make me wait for days but always came the next day after I called. He always showed up on time and at the time that I was available. I never had to take time off work or leave early. The dishwaster and Stove are now working just like new. I am very happy with his service and would recommend him to everyone. The cost is very reasonable as well. Give him a call and I promise that you will agree with me.

At 9:00am on a Saturday morning, we discovered that our washer was not draining and, if fact, was leaking. I called Rick. He took the make and model number and, at 1:00pm, he called me back. By 2:00pm, he had replaced the pump, as well as making some additional tweaks - giving us confidence that our 20 year old washer (I'm guessing) will last another 20 years. Exceptional service. Prompt, professional and quite possibly the best appliance repair experience I have encountered. Competent and helpful with advice-Joe was able to diagnose and correct the problem with my refrigerator. Highly recommended!

I call Rick on a Thursday about my washer leaking water from underneath. He came in as promised and got the problem resolved in 30 minutes. I strongly recommend him as a trustworthy mechanic. Your home appliance broke, eh? Don't panic, call Rick, the mechanic!

Rick is the most honest and punctual man in the business. i called him at 4 in the evening. He had prior obligation but yet came at sharp 6 as promised because I told him i had kids and needed help asap. He knew what the issue was and fixed the problem in 30 minutes. He had the parts handy too. No wonder he is rated so high here.
