    Thrilled with the Outcome

    I could not be happier with the results of the staircase. it was actually how I had pictured it. In addition I had flooring installed in a bedroom and upstairs hallway. From start to finish the staff who were involved with these projects were prompt, professional and were attentive to detail. Any questions I asked or emailed were dealt with quickly by Mesh or Rajan. I have recommended this company to both neighbours and family and for me that is the best indication of my appreciation. Thanks again

    Perfect Stairs

    Great job! Very good finishing work, customer focused and excellent value for money. They completed the job on time and showed up when they said they would. I would hire them again and for sure recommend them.

    Railing Replacement

    Had railing replaced by Ideal Stairs, and they did a great job. Rajan/Mesh were very responsive to any questions or issues I had and their team was able to complete the job in a very reasonable amount of time. If you are looking to update your stairs or railings I would definitely recommend them.

    Hardwood Floors and Winding Staircase

    Rajan and his team from Ideal Stairs worked on the floors in our home as well as our winding staircase. They were scheduled to be working for two weeks, they finished in about 9 days. They were hard working, attentive and very responsive to any of our concerns. They managed to work with the existing subfloor that existed to ensure that all of the major creaks and uneven floors were fixed. They worked long hours, were attentive to details and followed instructions in terms of allowing us to inspect the subfloor to ensure everything was screwed down to our satisfaction. Even when one part of the family room floor was still making noise, they were willing to try and figure out the problem and make sure we were satisfied with the finished product. They inspected and found the source of the noises for the family room and the living room so that these two high traffic areas were without the creaks that would have driven us crazy. The two gentlemen that worked on the stairs were hardworking, cleaned up every day, and made the staircase an absolute masterpiece. We are extremely pleased with the work that was performed and the wonderful customer service provided by Rajan and his team. We would highly recommend them and we would certainly reuse them in future for any hardwood flooring work to be done.

    Banister and railing overhaul - nailed it!

    Amazing work! We purchased our new home, knowing that we would be renovating. We were looking for a company that could match the look of our last home and these guys nailed it. Very impressive work. We had to add to the scope of work based on requirements from the company that will be installing our carpet later this month. FLAWLESS execution and within the time frame. Very impressed and would recommend for sure. Don’t be fooled by their humbleness, these guys are stars. Thank you very much - the house is starting to feel like home!

    Great Team and Service!

    Hired Ideal Stairs to complete an open staircase from the top floor to the basement. Mainly dealt with Mesh and Rajan, who provided excellent customer service, and often completed Check-In calls to keep on top of the project’s progress, as well as to see if I had any concerns. The Installers worked efficiently, diligently, and paid attention to details. The results were beautiful!!! Our staircase looks amazing and was well worth the service. I would definitely recommend this business!

    Excellent quality work and helpful guidance

    Rajan and Mesh are a pleasure to work with, and they lead a very hard working, top quality crew. The job was to replace old, original carpeted stairs plus entire top floor including 3 bedrooms. They made accomodation when we (unexpectedly) had to stay home during the work, and they did an entire clean up at end of every days work. There was one area where a new crew member fell below their quality standards, and they immediately repaired and replaced without problem.

    Excellent Work - Staircase, Handrails, Hardwood Floors

    We are very pleased with the project recently completed by Ideal Stairs. They installed hardwood flooring on the entire second floor, main staircase and our basement stairs. From the time we initiated our conversation with Rajan and his team as well as with Mesh in the showroom, we were impressed with their knowledge, customer focus, quality of workmanship, and professionalism. They laid out the project plan and gave good feedback and advice on various ideas and choices. We had previously done our main floor and required that they match the colour on the staircase (both main stairs and basement stairs) with that on our main floor. They provided us with the samples to make our choice and helped us in narrowing down to the right colour and wood. In addition, they brought small samples with the right tone of stain to match the main floor colour and made adjustment as we had suggested. They did an amazing job of building the staircase to the right colour and the final product is excellent. They also advised us of the current regulations with regard to the height of the pickets as our old pickets were over 40 years old and did not meet the current requirements and helped us make a good choice. The team performed the job admirably and with professionalism and courtesy. We will gladly recommend Ideal Stairs to anyone looking for a company competent and able to deliver on what they promise, according to the customer's requirements and to the specified time frame.     Stair renovation

    We obtained several quotes, Ideal Stairs being a little more expensive. The more we learned about the shortcuts taken by other companies the more we understood it would be worth it. Ideal Stairs covered the stringers with new plywood and finished this with molding. The result was a perfect edge where the riser meets the open stringer. No need for fussy moldings to hide this detail. No need for fill to hide the gaps where the existing stair tread had been cut back. Ideal Stairs made our posts to an exact measurement of 90 mm to accommodate post caps I had ordered. The supplier they use for the spindles had a huge range of choice. Mesh and Rajan were always available and accommodating, keeping us up to date on the schedule for their crew. The tradesmen were on time, worked diligently with a high level of skill. We are very happy with the result and would not hesitate to recommend them for your stair renovation.
