    Refinish stairs

    We would like to thank Mesh, Rajan and their team for the wonderful job that was done to refinish our stairs. Work included the stairs being sanded/re stained, replacement of the balusters as well as the newels. The team was always on time, professional and finished in a timely manner. I would highly recommend ideal stairs .

    Another Great Project with Ideal Stairs

    Ideal Stairs did our house last year (2017) so when I needed to get the same work done on our rental house I didn't hesitate to contact them. Mesh, Rajan, Kai, and the whole team were fantastic yet again. They have real craftsmanship, so any weird angles, curved walls, different flooring heights, etc are all taken into account when they work. The team was onsite on time every day of the job and they always cleaned up at the end of the day. Plastic sheets were used to minimize dust to other areas of the house. The project came in on time and on budget. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to family or friends.

    Carpet to Wood Stair conversion with refinished railing and wrought iron pickets

    Mesh, Rajan and their team at Ideal Stairs were a pleasure to work with. They gave us a competitive quote to convert our existing carpeted stairs to Oak, with a refinished handrail and new wrought iron pickets. The crew arrived as planned and completed the project in just over a week. They were careful to mask and seal off any areas where dust/debris could enter and tidied up at the end of each work day. The job turned out fantastic and we are very happy with how this has transformed the look of our home. We would highly recommend Ideal Stairs for any stair refinishing project.

    Staircase upgrade

    We would like to thank Rajan, Mesh, and the Ideal Stairs team for renovating our staircase. We are very happy with the new two-toned look. The entire process was very professional. The work was done with great attention to detail and finished earlier than initially estimated. Overall, we had a great experience with Ideal Stairs and would highly recommend!

    love my new stairs

    I can't be more happier with my new stairs. Mesh and his team always replied my Phone calls or emails fast. The team did fantastic job for my woodfloor and stairs. I already got compliments. The price was very competitive.

    stair renovation

    A great thanks to Mesh, Rajan and their team for doing a beautiful job on our stair renovation. Installation of new risers, treads, pickets, handrails, nosing and stringers went smoothly. Communication, timing, coordination, and attention to detail were great and as promised. Any deficiencies noted were fixed immediately. Clean up at the end of the day was good, and the guys protected other area's of the house from dust and debris. All in all a great experience and I would definitely recommend them for any stair renovation needs.

    Customer Service Excellence

    Victoria and I hired Ideal Stairs to redo our old carpeted oak stairs and to replace 650 square feet of carpet on the main floor and upper landing area. We selected Ideal Stairs due to other reviews on HomeStars regarding their excellent customer service. If we could give them a 12 out of 10 we would! From start to finish they kept us informed of everything that was going on, when it would be done and what was to be worked on each day. The crew was very respectful, quiet and they cleaned up every evening before going home. The price was reasonable while the quality was excellent. Raj answered our many questions and the one or two minor issues were addressed immediately. We felt truly like the customer which these days can be very challenging. The job started on the day they said it would and finished one day early. We are so pleased with our new stairs and hardwood. See the before and after pictures. Thanks very much to Mesh, Rajan and their entire crew!!

    Redone stairway

    Went from old carpet to new wood stairs. They did a good job matching colour to my hardwood floors. Cost competitive. Did the job when it was scheduled on time and in budget.

    Hardwood piano style stairs

    Hi, My name is Lorna. I live in the City of Whitby,On. I renovated my stairs January 22- January 29th. I trusted the project to Ideal Stairs. The team from Ideal Stairs came in and worked efficiently, and paid attention to details. The team was very meticulous, and they ensure that the vision I had for the stairs was met. I am an extremely satisfied customer!! I met with three other companies prior to renovating, and I have no doubt that I made the right choice choosing Ideal Stairs.
