Highly recommended. Stairs and flooring. Will be using them again in my new house.
Ideal stairs did an impeccable job replacing my curved carpeted stairs and changing the pickets to decorative iron. They really did a custom job on curved stairs with bull nose. They also redid the entire hallway and 4 bedrooms. New baseboards and while I was to pay for what I choose they upgraded me no charge because he really felt I would be happier with it and they were right! All the work wa very well done and they cared that I was happy with the results. Note : I referred them to my neighbor (I don't usually do that) my neighbor chose a different company and the difference was obvious. My neighbors contracted installed caps on the stairs instead of ripping down to the frame and starIdeal stairs did an impeccable job replacing my curved carpeted stairs and changing the pickets to decorative iron. Hardwood Staircase
I chose Ideal Stairs carefully among multiple other options because it was important to have safe and nice staircase (we experienced serious problems with the old one). Ideal Stairs provided the best options and revealed that they were staircase experts, it was fairly priced too. After dealing with renovation for half a year It is hard to believe that contractors like Ideal Stairs even exist! Seriously, the best experience ever. Mesh, Rajan and their crews are very well organized, they plan everything, they know what they will do next, they pay attention to your need and meticulous to the smallest details, but the most important -they created a staircase of my dreams. I sincerely recommend this company

hardwood stairs & floors
Our project involved replacing carpeting with hardwood on our stairs, hallway and master bedroom as well as installing new metal spindles and new baseboards. Ideal Stairs did not disappoint! We experienced excellent customer service and communication from Mesh and Rajan. Their installation team was careful and exacting in their work and took pride in doing a professional job. We want to thank Ideal Stairs for making us feel comfortable and confident with the entire process and highly recommend them to others.

Main Staircase upgrade
upgraded from builders carpet to oak hardwood staircase and converted upstairs hallway (carpet) to match the staircase and living room floor (oak). The job was well done, on time, a bit messy at times but they always cleaned up after. We even made a few on the fly modifications which were accommodated and reasonable priced. They take care of you and genuiney want you to be happy with the outcome of the project.

Replaced carpeted stairs with hardwood
I had nothing but a positive experience with Ideal Stairs. The workmanship, the communication and everything in between. The quote was exactly as stated, the start time was exactly as stated. The communication was outstanding! Any and all of my questions were answered quickly and clearly. It is easy to see that customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to Mesh and the team at Ideal Stairs. I would not hesitate to recommend them. We have been through a few renovations in our home and this has been by far our "favourite"! Thank you.

Main staircase recap
Choosing a company to recap my staircase was not a simple task. I needed somebody who would not only do an excellent job of replacing the existing carpet with solid wood stairs and installing a new handrail and post, but also would be able to install new hardwood flooring on the landing to match the stain on the stairs. I talked with several companies, but when I met the people from Ideal Stairs they instantly became the front-runner. It is always possible to get lower quotes - and I certainly did - but when Mesh and Rajan visited my home to inspect the site I felt a high level of confidence in their knowledge, suggestions and professionalism. This confidence was not misplaced. The project was completed to my complete satisfaction and I have no reservation at all in highly recommending them.

Update to carpeted staircase
Ideal stairs helped us recently to replace an existing carpeted staircase with a design that included stained and painted maple steps. They did a great job of matching the stain to our new hardwood floors, which are grey. We really appreciated their craftsmanship and attention to detail. The results came out great and our main stairwell is now a real feature in our home. Thank you ideal stairs for all of your hard work!

replace stair case
We love our new stair case from Ideal Stairs! The staff were very helpful and patient with our questions and concerns. They were thorough in their work beginning with taking careful measurements for the new stair case to the installation and finishing with paint and stain. It is an impeccable staining and painting job! We are very happy with the end product.

Hardwood Floor & Stairs
We had Ideal Stairs do 1500 Sq feet of hardwood as well as a new staircase. Mesh and Raj were professional and handled the business while they had other workers come in to do the actual work. We were generally content with the work that was completed aside from a misunderstanding regarding the type of stairs we originally requested. Otherwise we were happy and recommend Ideal. Thanks Mesh and Raj.
