    New Roof

    We had the National Star Team remove a wooden shake roof and replace it with the Malarky Legend product. The Team was professional and very responsive right from the first sales call to the completion of the install. They kept the job site clean and removed all the old shingles. They even checked back after the job to ensure that we were satisfied.

    Replace roof shingles

    We had to get the shingles on our roof replaced due to hail damage. Sokol promptly came and gave us an estimate for the job. Unlike other contractors who simply didn't bother responding, follow-up with National Star was excellent. Alex and the crew came and got the job done in a day. Prompt, professional, they made sure everything was well tidied up after the job was finished. Very satisfied.

    Roof

    Thank you, NATIONAL STAR!! Our roof was replaced last month because of hail damage in 2012. It was referral from my friend. They came to work on time and did great job. After they replaced shingle, they cleaned around our house perfectly. No nails left on our yard!! I have recommended them to my friends.

    Roof - shingle replacement

    While shopping around for roofing contractors (via personal references and the Internet), favorable reviews brought National Star to my attention. This company became 1 of 4 roofing contractors that provided me with an estimate for the complete replacement of shingles on my home, garage and shed. From the outset, the roofing specialist at National Star (Sokol Preka) outshone the competition. Sokol was both professional and courteous, providing a detailed estimate in a timely fashion and being accessible throughout my decision making process. While National Star was not the lowest quote, Sokol’s willingness to provide me with comprehensive information on roofing both inspired confidence in his company and allowed me to make an informed decision regarding my service provider. I was “blown” away by the service delivery. The job started on time, completed on time and did not deviate from the quoted price. The icing on the cake was that during shingle replacement, some foundational structure (wood) replacement was necessary. The crew informed me of the requirement, and stressed the importance (long-term) of doing things right the first time. Although it was outside of their realm of responsibility, the National Star crew completed this value added (customer centric) undertaking with only the cost of materials passed on to me.     St. Mary’s University College hired National Star Roofing to do complete shingle replacement on our McGivney Hall Building, our Classroom Building and our Library. Alex Vukuj and his family crew were very thorough, professional and completed the projects on schedule and on budget. It was a large undertaking and we very impressed with the workmanship and quality of work that National Star Roofing did. I would highly recommend National Star Roofing for any roofing project.

    Roof replacement

    We recently engaged National Star to replace our old and worn out shingles. From receiving an initial detailed quote through to the follow up meeting at the end of the job they were true professionals with a hands on, consultative approach. We had teams of 3 or more working on our roof for 3 days; they were respectful of our time and space and were exceptional in cleaning up every single day before they left. We were very impressed with the daily check ins to make sure we were happy with progress and an opportunity to ask any questions. We are delighted with the end result and have had neighbours comment on how good our roof looks compared to their (newly replaced) roof! I have no hesitation in recommending National Star to anyone; they do what they say they're going to do and they do it well. They may not be the cheapest but you get a quality product and a sense of trust with them. That's priceless.

    Re-roofing

    I was impressed by the professionals at National Star. We had them check out our roof and provide an estimate. They promptly visited the house and provided me with a detailed quote as well as some recommendations about which products to use. Our roof had some water problems in the past so I appreciated their advice. They contacted me ahead of the job start and began when they said they would. They kept me updated on their progress, showed me how they were going to properly take care of water drainage, and even gave me a tour of the finished job. They didn’t make a move to leave until I had all of my questions answered and was fully satisfied. They cleaned up and I was left a properly protected home. It was like they were working on one of their own homes. I’d highly recommend Aleks, Sokol and the crew.

    Roof replaced

    Last year the roofs in my neighbourhood suffered from hail damage and The National Star family worked for one of my neighbours, who highly recommended them. Once they finished hers, one of the family members, Sokol, came to introduce himself and offered to do a free inspection and quote for my house roof. He sent pictures of the damage and the estimate to the insurance company, which they accepted. He came on the appointed time with his family and they worked steadily until the work was done. They also cleaned well before they left. It was a pleasure to deal with National Star and have already recommended them. Very friendly, professional and trustworthy.

    Replacing older shingles

    National star came removed the older existing roofing which had deteriorated and installed the the newer shingles The men were fast, efficient and courteous. The work was first rate on time and budget. I would recommend them anytime.

    Roof Replacement

    National Star was originally recommended by a neighbour who was very satisfied with the results and their reliability. Not as a surprise, so were we. As a family roofing business, they all have the same concern about doing a good job. They answered all our questions and completed the job on the date they promised. They came back to follow up afterwards. We have already recommended them to neighbours and friends. You cannot go wrong with trusting them with your roof.
