Thank you for taking time from a busy life to share your experience dealing with the National Star family. You mentioned there was no surprises and we added finishing touches to make your roof stand out. The ones you notice are just a few of the many things that are part of a roofing system. As a family, every one of us pays close attention to all details. Any project we take the responsibility to work on has to be done to last a minimum of 40 years, which is a really long time. Every small little detail is important for that to happen. We are seeing roofs being changed every 10 years, on average, most of which are due to bad workmanship, crews being in a rush and not really caring about customers and reputation. We try and make friends, not just customers, and reputation is everything to us.

The high profile caps and painting all the flashings and the furnace exhaust made the roof stand out.The looks of the roof is not our main priority, lifetime of the roofing system is. If the manufacturer guidelines and the building codes are followed closely, both can be achieved successfully on a regular basis. We put importance to every detail during the roofing project, from the first communication with you to the cleanup. Hey Coleene, the house looks gorgeous after painting the furnace exhaust to match everything else. I will be taking some pictures for our website. I appreciate all the compliments towards me Coleene as the face of the company, but my relatives ,who work 12 hour days in the scorching sun to make sure your roof is done to last for 40 years, are the ones to be praised and recognized. Roofing is hard as a job, even standing on a roof all day, but even harder is to do an impeccable job that will last long and look great. The roof is the most important part of the house as it is the first line of defence. As such, it is crucial that the roof is done carefully and properly. We, as a family, take pride in the work we do and we see every project as a chance to build and every client as a friend and a referral source. We try to be as competitive as possible, without jeopardizing quality, and do extras without a charge on a regular basis. What gives us courage to keep working hard is not the monetary gains, it is the recognition we get from people like yourself. Everyone has had numerous bad experiences with contractors (roofers and all other trades) and many are still experiencing them every day. We are determined to change the reputation roofing contractors have in Calgary.
