After obtaining a number of quotes, We hired Doctor Rooter to complete some work in our basement. The project turned into underpinning our basement. The process was long and arduous but Oleg and his crew led by Stas completed the project on budget. Stas is very talented and the crew is very hardworking and reliable. Oleg has a great structural engineer, Slava, who made us feel comfortable with the design and the underpinning process by ensuring everything was supported properly and giving us regular reports. Oleg's workers were pleasant and worked very hard. We don't have a driveway so they had to do a lot of extra work to get the dirt out of the basement. They even worked most Saturdays to get the job done faster. Underpinning is not a fun or easy process. The end product looks great and the added height adds value to our home.

Doctor Rooter installed a 12’trough catch basin in my driveway on August 5, 2014. This was done to stop water from flooding into my garage during rain storms and snow melts. I was assured that the grate covering the trough would be easily removable in order to clear out leaves in the fall. However, when fall arrived, I discovered that the grate was not removable. The trough became packed with leaves which impaired the drainage of water. During the winter, the grate covering the trough broke. Oleg from Doctor Rooter promised to replace the grate cover with a new one which could be removed in order to keep the catch basin clear of leaves. Oleg made many appointments with me to come and do the repairs, but time and again he did not show up. The day after I posted this review, Doctor Rooter arrived at my home to install a new removable grate and clear out all of the leaves from the catch basin. I am relieved that the problems with the catch basin have finally been resolved.

i called expecting an appointment about the call for leaking water bill costs , they told me that it was probably the toliet and came out with in an hr and half ... great service reasonable cost .. and repair .. . thank you

We were very satisfied with their approach, professionalism and work. The crew were excellent. Thanks to Oleg, Bill, Peter, Teras and rest of the crew. Oleg is just amazing! This is the only plumber you need!! Very friendly, honest and does what he does best with proud!! Punctual, high quality and the best you can find out there! Not one of those lazy canadian contractors that want a lot of money and do nothing or doesn't know what quality and professionalism is!!! Highly recommended!

We bought a house last year and did not know water was leaking into the entire basement through the air holes as the grade of land was too high. Doctor Rooter team led by Oleg very professional, knowledgable, clean and hardworking. They go the extra mile to make their customer happy. Work well done!

I used the Homestar's service to find a concrete contractor. I had quite a few contractors contact me and decided on Dr. Rooter. The price was right and their rep. Oleg and I decided on what was to be done and put it all in a contract, The job is done as per the contract. I agree with every positive review about Dr. Rooter Oleg the manager did exactly what he said he would do as written in the contract. The job was done to my satisfaction and very professional too, These guys know how to do a job right. I would hire them again or recommend them to anyone.

For 2 years I have experienced problems with water collecting under the concrete slab in my basement during spring . Replacement of downspouts and moving snow away from the house did not help. So I have decided to install a sump pump. I've contacted 2 companies for installation and chose Doctor Rooter. Oleg was very knowledgeable and professional about the basement water issues.His quote was very reasonable. And it was a pleasure to communicate with him. Installer Sergei made a great job. He managed to install sump pump with a minimal damage for my finished basement in a very tiny space..Sergei checked everything and tuned up the sump pump a way I asked him to do. Next day Oleg came and helped me to fill up the forms for a City rebate. I would strongly recommend Doctor Rooter for water issues work and waterproofing.

I would give Dr Rooter ( Oleg ) a score of 11 if I could. He responded promptly to quote on a drainage issue and a parging job at our house and gave a reasonable quote and a quick start on the job. We ran into unexpected complications that were nobodies fault but Oleg ( and his colleague Sergei ) worked tirelessly and late into the evening( and morning!) to get the job done as we had a deadline to meet. They did a great job, and left the place spotless. If needed we will definetly hire this firm again. Thanks Oleg , and I hope you eventually got some sleep! T

Hello all, I have a 50 year old back split house with a cracked walkout at the side entry. The walkout was built lower than the driveway and my lawn. Having heavy rains during the last few years, I have been facing heavy water leaking in my basement. After few days of shopping around to find an experienced contractor and an effective price, I found that Doctor Rooter can cover all my requirements. Doc Rooter demolished the previous walkout and rebuilt a new one at a higher level than my lawn and driveway based on my request. Doc. Rooter reconnected properly all the drainage and water proofing for all exposed areas. I strongly recommend Doctor Rooter .In fact I am planning to involve them in more projects around my house.
