Our Hot Tank Water died on a Friday afternoon at 6pm. I googled Home stars & Cumming Home was the only one with a 10/10. So we decided to take a chance & call them. Chris promptly returned our call, within 15mins after I left a message on their emergency line. Chris & his team arrived on time Sat 9:30am! They were professional & efficient in the install & removed the old water tank. We were thrilled with their job. If you are looking for a professional & courteous contractor, I would recommend Chris & his company.

Being new to Aurora/Newmarket, I asked a number of electricians and plumbers who they used for furnace maintainance etc... Three of them named Chris Cumming of Cumming Home heating and cooling. So I called and spoke with Vicky who was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly and promptly set up a time for me. Chris and Geoffrey were on time and very thorough, walking around my home to inspect the furnace and gas fireplace connections from outside ( Geoffrey even painted my outside gas connection because it "needed it"!)... They quickly noticed that a portion of the furnace attachment was installed backwards with arrows pointing the wrong way ... This was work done by another company who the previous owners had used.... This was a serious and potentially dangerous mistake and apparently my furnace could have been ' red tagged' .... Chris and Geoffrey corrected the problem so I feel like the furnace is now safe and well maintained. They really care about their clients and provide a level of service that is rare to find... And at a reasonable cost and they are pleasant and professional to work with.... Highly recommended

Our Air Conditioner which is quite old (1998), broke on one of the hottest days of the summer. On very short notice (within hours), Chris came out to our home, and was able to quickly diagnose the problem and fix it, at a very reasonable cost. We were apprehensive about repairing the old unit, and were worried that any repairman who came to see it would immediately default into selling us a new model. Chris was straight up, honest, and very trustworthy. When we inevitably DO replace this unit I will have no hesitation calling Chris to take care of us.

Chris is very prompt at responding to communications. He attended to quote on a new pool heater and offered some advice on how to protect the warranty. I liked his sincerity and honesty. He and Geoffrey attended to complete the installation. What a pleasant team to deal with. Everything is high and dry...no water leaks. I intend to have him back for the annual service/inspections. Please consider him for all of your HVAC needs. Read their website - really informative.

Our water heater tank broke down and had to be replaced. We wanted to own the tank instead of renting. I searched for a reliable company in Home Stars and called to several potential contractors. Vicky, an office manager from Cumming Home Heating and Cooling was the best. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very positive. They had no problem to come on Saturday (our tank broke down on Friday), replace it and take out the old one back to the rental company. Owner Chris and technician Geoffrey were prompt on time and did a very good job. They were fast, accurate, very polite. They could answer any cooling and heating systems related questions and gave very useful tips on using them. Additionally, they checked humidifier, furnace, pool heater and gave some advices on use. Overall, we are very lucky and happy that we found them on the HomeStars and would highly recommend them to everyone.

I know Cumming Home Heating and Cooling, Chris and Geoffrey from one of my friend and today Chris showed up within specified time frame and fixed my furnace right to the problem in no time and left the worked area clean. What else do you need from a licensed technician to repair and service your furnace? For this reason I gave this company 10 out of 10.

Cumming Home Heating and Cooling has provided our home with ongoing service of our furnace, air conditining and pool heater for over 8 years at a reasonable cost. Their team is professional, reliable, smart, trustworthy and nice. They have also provided us with a new high efficiency furnace (cost above) and air conditioner during that period at a cost effective price. They even helped with getting us a Ontario Hydro rebate. I highly recommend them.

excellent service...technician arrived on time and cleaned and fixed our gas fireplaces and furnace b4 winter. Our gas fires look new again and are working perfectly. This company really know what they are doing and perform excellent work. We will have them service our gas furnace and fires every year. Highly recomended!
