We are living in a new builder development area. The original grass was dying, the front yard was being taken over by weeds and the backyard was left to be desired. To say the least, the outdoor areas needed a little "sprucing up." After checking Home Stars and seeing the great reviews we felt comfortable enough to contact Jay at Green Side Up. He was very fast and quick to return my call and within a week he came to visit our property to assess the project and discuss ideas. After the first meeting, we had several additional questions, new ideas and thoughts, which we felt were best illustrated by having Jay return back to our property. He never complained and always made the time to revisit to make us feel as comfortable as possible about the project. The project included sodding of new grass, removing the old clay and replacing it with fresh soil, replacing the existing garden in front of the house with a new design the incorporated the driveway, replacing the standard tiles in the backyard with upgraded tiles, building a berm, replacing the standard concrete steps in the backyard with stone steps and planting various new plants and grasses. Jay and his crew were very courteous, kind and a pleasure to have, while they were working. During the project time, we could not be home for a day or two but Jay would provide us with updated pictures on the progress to make sure we were informed and it made us feel like we were right there. Once the project was completed, the area was well cleaned, tidied up and the landscape was manicured. Now we have an outdoor area that we are very proud of to come home to and to relax in the backyard. We would certainly recommend Green Side Up to any of our friends and family and will be contacting him again for any future projects.

We are really happy that we have started this project with Jay & company. We purchased this house almost a year ago. And all this time we felt uncomfortable with out front yard. But yesterday things have been changed. And it is so nice now to get congratulations from neighbors! An awesome and highly professional job! Great and wonderful team. The retaining wall along the front and side of my house was leaning terribly and an eyesore. I got the name and phone number for Green Side Up from Homestars and within a couple of days I had met with Jay, got an estimate, and confirmed the go ahead. The workmen arrived precisely at 7:30 am on the start date and were able to complete the job that day. Everything was handled in a timely and professional manner and my retaining wall looks great. Jay and his crew went above and beyond and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Green Side Up to friends and family.

My patio stones had shifted over the winter and were all over the map. I was referred to Jay at Green Side Up and he did not disappoint. He provided a quote and a timeframe and he did a fabulous job fixing my patio. I am now confident that the water drainage will be going into my backyard and not close to my house foundation. I found Jay to be honest, reliable and knowledgeable. He went the extra mile to take care of details that may appear small but make a difference to me. Jay also fixed my front walkway as the interlock had sunk over the years and it now looks amazing as well. I would not hesitate to recommend Jay (and in fact I already have). I want to add that I found Jay to be very customer oriented which is a quality that seems to be harder to find these days. Thank you Jay and team.

Jay and his team were punctual and were more than willing to answer any questions I had, they also did an awesome job making the front,side and back of the house looking great. Jay was able to work with the budget I had while providing outstanding quality, in the end I got more than what I could ask for. During the sodding process Jay explained step by step on how to maintain a great looking lawn which I was very grateful for since its my first time owning a home with lawn. Jay always kept me up to date with the progress of the project and finished on the expected date.

Our front walkway was made of builder patio stones, and had major drainage issues since a downspout emptied across it. Since I was already a lawn care/snow removal client of Jay's, I contacted him to replace the front walk with interlock, to bury the downspout and to add a garden wall. The work was completed yesterday, and I couldn't be happier. What a transformation! We've already had our first rainstorm, and it was wonderful to be able to leave my house without having to wade through inches of standing water. Jeremy and his helper John were very professional, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. I was also impressed that Jay came by with his level a couple of hours after the project was done to check the drainage, and to remove the last unused stones. I strongly recommend Green Side Up!

My rental property had interlocking done by the previous owner. The interlocking was not professionally done and had all kinds of stability, weeds and water issues. I called Jay for advise and he came to the site and recommend how to correct the issue at a reasonable cost. He provided a time line and finished the project within the given time. I was amazed with the quality of work as I saw the team pull the entire place apart and fix the core of the problem. The follow up was great as I just left the team to work and they kept me posted on the progress made. The property looks amazing now and requires minimum maintenance on a regular basis. Thank you Jay and team for the quality of workmanship, honesty and integrity. I'm extremely happy and am looking forward to working with you on my next project!

I purchased my house when there was still snow on the ground, so I was very disappointed when I realized the condition of the lawn after the thaw. Green Side Up exceeded all expectations starting from my initial inquiry all the way to the end.
