    Overgrown Garden

    I had given up on a small garden overrun by weeds at the side of the house. I found Green Side Up on Homestars and gave Jay a call. He came by the house within a day and provided a solution and reasonable price for the job. The best part is that he was able to provide a short turnaround time. Jay set a time to come, came on time as promised and proceeded to make short work of the disaster. The result is great. We are very happy. Jay and his team were fantastic- they wanted the job to go well and for us to be happy. Quality and customer satisfaction is a reality with Green Side Up. We are already planning for Jay and his team to return to tackle the front.

    interlocking driveway & pathway

    Very satisfied with the project. Responded immediately to first contact, worked with us to develop a plan that met our needs that was affordable and attractive. Work started on agreed date and completed with skill and craftsmanship. Left site clean. Thanks Jeremy and Jay for a great job.

    Landscaping

    I just want to echo what my wife has written about Jay and his team. What I appreciated most about working with Green Side Up is the sense that I was a valued customer and not just a sucker. Jay values you as a customer and is anxious that his customers have good experiences. He doesn't 'nickel and dime' on the job either.In the process of working on the lawn, Jay and I agreed that I needed a new retaining wall. He agreed to build one at no extra charge other than the lumber - and he made sure to provide a copy of the receipt. Unlike the majority of experiences I've had with this industry, Green Side Up has excellent customer service. Jay either answers his phone immediately or calls back on the same day. While we worked with Green Side on sod installation this time, I'm confident there will be more business with them in the future.

    Front and Backyard Sod

    After contacting nearly a dozen other companies (where most didn't even call back!), Jay called us and was a lifesaver! He was responsive, honest and offered competitive prices for our project. He always responded when he said he would, kept up with our agreed timeline and initial quote, and was an overall pleasure to work with. Needless to say, we are thrilled with the results and look forward to working with his team again.

    Lawn Makeover

    Our front lawn had a bunch of random plants and bushes from the previous owner and was a huge eyesore in the neighborhood. We contacted Jay to have him dig up all the plants and trees from our front lawn, side of our house and backyard and have sod put down and cedar trees planted. We also had him remove 2 lilac trees and an apple tree from our property as well as it was attracting way too many bees. After Jay and his team started their work on our property, they discovered that we had a grub issue. Jay gave us a complementary treatment which immediately took care of the problem. This was quite a big job but Jay and his team were super quick and did a fantastic job. The transformation is truly amazing and we could not be happier! Jay always kept us updated with the progress through emails and phone calls and even sent us pictures as they were working. Jay truly cares about his customers and always gives us useful tips on keeping our lawn healthy. We would definitely recommend his services to our friends and family.

    Stone Repair

    Found Jay on Homestars and couldn't be happier with the results! Responsive, honest and totally committed to quality. These guys fixed the mess that my contractor left behind when the job was first completed. Thanks to Jay and Jeremy for a job well done! I will definitely send business your way.

    Year Round Grounds Maintenance

    We found Jay through a sales letter mailing in our mailbox. We were unhappy with a local grounds keeping company we were using and I decided to give Jay a call. He came out to meet with me immediately and I was impressed by his enthusiasm and positive attitude. This is our second year with Green Side Up and I am so happy we found Jay. He did an excellent job with our lawn last summer and an even better job with our snow removal through this past horrible winter. There was no question in my mind when it came time to renew. I really appreciate his email updates and he keeps me well informed of storms and issues he encounters. I feel we have developed a partnership in our home maintenance rather than a company/customer relationship. I would highly recommend Jay to anyone who cares about their home and wants someone who is diligent and responsible caring for the maintenance of it. Excellent service and a highly dedicated, responsive and responsible business owner who cares about his customers. Highly recommend.

    Grading / maintenance

    Found Jay's company's on Home Stars and could not be happier. Wonderful service experiences are too rare and Green Side Up was a great find. Do business with these guys, you won't be disappointed. They fixed our grading and maintained our property to pristine condition after our purchase in minimal time. Love this company. Reasonable priced.

    Drainage problem

    I live in a subdivision hampered with water and drainage problems. Coupled with this, is very poor soil and clay. My own property has a swale running along the the south fence line which very rarely dries up. Cutting the grass along that side of the yard, is usually trekking through mud. I've had city officials over to the house, who basically told me to sue my neighbours, as they deemed improvements that they've made to their properties as being the cause of mine. I called Jay, at Green Side Up and he proposed the installation of a French drain. The drain was to run the entire length of my property, from west to east, along the south side of the yard. Once the installation was complete, voila, no more water problems. Within 20 minutes of a heavy rainfall, the entire side of the lot is dry and the water is running out onto the street into sewer. I would highly recommend Jay Saveall and his crew at Green Side Up Property Maintenance. Because of his professionalism and dedication to detail, I can now enjoy my entire yard. No longer do I have to deal with constant standing water.

    Tree limb clean up

    Jay pulled up outside my house to do some work at my neighbours and I asked him if he had time to help cut up big branches in my yard. He was fast, efficient and I now have peace of mind knowing that the mess has been cleaned up with little impact to me! Thanks Jay.
