    Alarm system, doorbell and backyard camera

    I highly recommend JTL for their phenomenal customer service skills, quick paced work, and beautiful installations. Their staff are friendly, and deeply care about providing above and beyond service. They as well consider price—they ensure that you’re paying the same as they would. They patiently explained in great detail how to operate the system. They as well ensure that if the technology fails down the line that you will still be set up for success. As I just moved out as a single women, I was terrified of break ins; thanks to JTL, I will be able to sleep peacefully!! They’ve set my dads home up for success as well as mine. I will never go with a different security company, and I’ve recommended them to all my friends as well. If you need a job done properly, efficiently, and with compassionate folks—JTL is your answer!

    Home Security system

    Installation process was seamless and the customer service was friendly and helpful. We now have peace of mind with a JTL security system in our new home!

    Alarm service

    Dolby is excellent, really knows the products and tech. Fantastic. Very helpful in any service request as well.

    Second Time Is A Charm!

    Long story short, my first home was secured by JTL Alarm and now in my new home, it remains the same. Since day one of my installation with Dolby at my old home, he provided much information, advices and customer service that was truly from his heart; ensuring his clients felt safe in their own homes, and even for businesses. He always abide by this one rule and never faltered. Even when he is unable to make it for installations or to evaluate any issues/problems, he would send out his entrusted colleagues to take care of it. We understand he cannot do it all! Also, he would contact me to ensure if the issues/problems were resolved and if there are any other concerns. The followups he does is an action that shows you his compassion for his clients and it is not about gaining any monetary means of any sort. His technician Bob, was and always have been amazing and a wonderful delight when he was sent to resolve issues in my home or currently, to install my security system in the new home. Through my experience, I noticed that he also portrays the same mentality and he does want to do the best install he can: a bit more seamless and not an unsightly installation. I also know, nothing is perfect in life so mistakes can happen too, as none are intentional. His competency to how do things and integrate all wiring into the home are a nice touch. Bob is also understanding and listens if you wanted to place a panel a certain height, and he makes suggestions just to give you options. In my second home, Dolby provided a bit more security for myself with an outdoor/indoor camera and an automatic light switch for outside, in which, I can control all in the Alarm.com app on my phone. His recommendations definitely provided a more secure feature to my home and I feel very safe because I am able to easily monitor things myself if I am away from home or not. I am VERY HAPPY with my system and the new features he implemented. Bob was my installer once again, and although it was a bit of a process, it was not the fault of the installing. There was a bit of difficulty connecting the sensors to the alarm surveillance team; however, Bob was persistent to ensure all were connected accordingly. He was great with this installation, and his patience and endurance was appreciated, especially when the weather was a bit chilly having to install the outdoor camera. Overall, I have been with JTL Alarm for about 6 years, going on 7, and I have never regretted it. They truly provide the best service, and even the surveillance team is amazing when the alarm system goes off. They contact you right away to ensure you are okay or if you need assistance. I guarantee that if you want a secure and safe feeling in your home, JTL Alarm is a top notch choice! Dolby and his team have been amazing, even my sister has been very happy to have them too as her security measure. I thank Dolby and his team for not only providing a great customer service, but also for truly caring about the safety of his clients as people and not for profiting. Definitely give them a try and hopefully, as new clients, you will feel secure and grateful for this amazing team.

    Home security system

    Prompt install of new codes and review for me of how security system works. Changed out all batteries and tested new system, made sure I understood how it all works.

    Setting up an existing security system

    Dolby is an amazing guy! I had just purchased a home and it had an existing alarm system which I wanted to activate. Dolby came over within a day of me contacting him and set up the system for me, including a new key pad. He took the time to explain everything to me (a lot of time, as I'm not tech savvy!) . About a month later, I had questions and he came over within 45 minutes of our phone conversation! Yesterday, I had another issue with the system. I called him and he fixed it at his end within 15 minutes! I highly recommend this company. Dolby listened to my needs and put in a system that was right for me. Many, many thanks Dolby!

    Home Alarm Install

    We have used JTL Alarm for over 3 years and have been thoroughly satisfied with the owner Dolby and his team. He has always been prompt to respond to any of our concerns or queries. Dolby's knowledge of the security business and technical information is excellent. Since he is based in Edmonton, any inquiries we have, the response we receive is immediate with Dolby himself and not with an answering service. We highly recommend JTL.

    Great Service

    Great service getting a modem going again that wiped the port forwarding setting for my alarm system. They got back to me right away and remote trouble shorted and had us up and running in no time.
