    Gas fireplace and tankless water heater maintenance & tune up

    No surprise - Appleby provided excellent, professional service. In addition to the great maintenance & tune up, Andrew took the time to explain the workings of the water heater. We asked Rick to show us how to reset the fireplace pilot light, in case we ever needed to. He was absolutely amazingly clear & patient, making sure I could see, understand and write down his instructions. He even offered me the chance to try to do it myself while he looked on. Classic instruction! High praise for both Andrew and Rick!

    Whole house HVAC installation

    I 100% recommend Abbleby Systems! They took on the job of converting our whole house from baseboard electric heat to forced air with furnace and air conditioner (every other company told me I was crazy and it couldn't be done). Ryan was professional and polite and provided a very reasonable quote. All of the tradesmen we highly skilled, polite and kind! Adam and Chris were super knowledgeable and kept me up to date on what needed to be done. They also made sure everything was clean before leaving. Appleby Systems also helped me when my hot water tank suddenly broke right before a long weekend. Ryan was super speedy at getting back to me and Andrew had it all fixed very quickly. I would definitely recommend Appleby Systems to a family member or friend they provide excellent service!

    Best gas fitter

    Gas company shutdown our gas because leaking. Called Appleby for help, reference by my friends. Gave us a schedule within 1 week. The gentlemen even checked the weather for me, make sure we are good living in the house before the fix. (20 C+) Adam and Chris showed up at the morning on time, did a quick and clean to replace the rotten pipe. Carefully tested everything after. The cost is very reasonable. I have a nice & confort home again! Thanks!

    Regency Fireplace Insert

    We were looking to have a gas insert with fan installed in an existing fireplace in our basement rec room. Ryan Park came to our home to measure, provide recommendations and an estimate of the cost. He provided great advice on our options and was very professional. Given the timeliness of their response and our experience with Ryan, we made the decision to proceed with them. Eddie kept us well informed along the way and a little more than a week later., Steve and Ryan (another Ryan) were there to do the installation. They were also very amiable and professional and completed the installation in 1/2 a day. Ryan provided detailed instruction and answered any questions. Eddie subsequently followed up to ensure we were completely satisfied which was certainly the case. Communication throughout the process was excellent and everyone involved gave a strong impression that they wanted to win the business and also appreciated our business. A very positive experience from start to finish and we are pleased with the end result.

    HRV Rplacement

    Our HRV (Heat Recovery Ventilator), 20 years old, was replaced on October 6, 2020. Three technicians were very polite, removed their outside shoes, wore appropriate masks. The work was done efficiently and the site was left totally clean. I would recommend this company very highly.

    New Furnace Install

    Contacted Ryan at Appleby Systems for a quote for a new furnace and he was available within 24 hours. We had used Appleby Systems to install a new furnace in our home and I referred my Mother for her new furnace because I new that I could trust Ryan to take care of her needs. Ryan was very thorough with his explanation of options and made arrangements to have the new furnace installed in less than 1 week. Also, Eddie at the office was so helpful and courteous and I would like to thank him, as well, for his professional and caring assistance. Thank you to the entire staff for once again providing excellent customer service.

    Felt like I knew them for years

    SO friendly I felt I knew them for years. The onsite tech was Steve and he was great, very efficient, knows his stuff and so friendly and easy to talk to. Very patient and accommodating. Great team and well done Appleby Systems

    Air Conditioner

    My worst nightmare - having the A/C fail in the hot and humid Ontario weather - came true this weekend. However, thanks to the fine folks over at Appleby Systems I only had to suffer thorough a few days of discomfort. From my initial phone call to Eddie at Appleby to the inspection visit by James the same day; to installation of a fancy new unit shortly thereafter, the whole process was very smooth. The installers were very pleasant and even managed to save the little fence enclosure that surrounds the A/C unit. from "Cool Sue"

    Water Heater Installation

    When our 8 year old water heater died and a replacement heat sensor part was going to take 4 weeks(!) to arrive we decided to have Appleby Systems replace the heater. We have used Appleby for our annual furnace check-up for many years and a few years ago for an air conditioner repair. Always prompt, efficient and friendly. The water heater was installed the next morning in under 2 hours. The installers were friendly and knowledgeable and cleaned up the work space perfectly. Highly recommended.

    Air Conditioning

    Over the years Appleby Systems have always been courteous and professional with our home heating and air conditioning systems. Our recent change to a new Air conditioner unit was fast, efficient, and painless.
