    Basement underpinning

    I want to give a big thanks to the entire Rock Bottom Underpinning Team! We were very hesitant to get our basement underpinned, but after meeting the team at Rock Bottom Underpinning we felt at ease. They walked us through the whole process, ensured us that our project would run smoothly and within our budget, and the best part was- they delivered! 8Ft ceilings, completely waterproofed basement, and radiant in-floor heating! We are super happy with the final product! I would not suggest choosing any other contractor to dig out your basement, as Rock Bottom really knows what they're doing.

    An 1880 Victorian basement backfilled with dirt and minimal foundation that was crumbling

    I have never underpinned before because it terrified me. Meeting Jamie and have him walk me through the job put my mind at ease and Rock Bottom lived up to and exceeded all of my expectations. A sure way of knowing if a contractor is doing a good job - the neighbours praise them when you visit the site! I had not one complaint and in fact my neighbours thanked me for how well the job was managed. My neighbours told me they were so impressed how they cleaned the site and removed the dirt and kept any noise to a very minimal level. The end job is perfection. I now have a full basement, level floor, no crumbling foundation, a fantastic set of stairs, and heated dry floor. I'm very very pleased. I have no hesitation in recommending Jamie and Rock Bottom.

    My go-to company

    This was an unbelievable undertaking. The project basement was essentially caved-in, under a 140 yr old house. Rock Bottom did an amazing job - it was impressive to watch. I'd like to mention Jamie, who brings a ton of integrity and patience to the job.

    Hi Renne! The Gladstone project was definitely a tricky one. With a crumbling foundation wall in the crawlspace, we required to underpin using a 2 lift process to ensure the foundation was secure and safe. It was a tedious process, but overall we were able to achieve an 8Ft ceilings, 1000 square foot basement. It was great working with you Renne and we can't wait for our next project together!     Great Service Amzing Results

    We wanted to create a high end basement suite and Laneway house. We ended up using Rockbottom because of their quality of work. We had them do the basement walkout, underpin the house and lab the slab for our new laneway property. They did a fantastic job for a very competitive price! The might not be the cheapest, but their workmanship is top notch. I wouldn't go with the cheapest for what holds your house up!

    Great experience with the crew. The workers are very kind and respectful. The work was done when they said it would be. Dion cares about his business and his client satisfaction. Recommend.

    Underpinning, lower basement, and replacement of walkout

    I am a custom home builder and general contractor for major renovations. I am working on a project turning a single unit semi-detached house into legal multiple unit rental property, and building an lane way on the backyard lane-way at Yonge & Bloor Area Downtown. Rock Bottom was referred by the structural engineer who did the permit. The price is reasonable and the work was done in a nice, decent way timely. The communication is good and they worked in a professionalism. I am very satisfied with their work and will work with them on another project. Thanks for the effort of Dion, Jamie, and Frank.

    Underpinning

    If you are looking to underpin your basement, Rock Bottom should be considered your top choice. With a diligent and hard working crew, the project was completed on time and on budget. With a collaborative spirit, every member of the team was patient and kind in answering all my questions (and I had many) and walking me through every step of the process. I learned a tremendous amount and have a new appreciation for the labour involved to complete such a job. I look forward to working with the team again in the Reno phase. Thanks for the positive experience and the additional height above our heads!!

    Basement underpinning slab floor drains waterproofing

    RockBottom is one of the best companies involved in underpinning and in any concrete work required Underpinning is just at another level of expertise One of the best if not the best organization I’ve ever dealt with The workmanship and the cleansing ness of the workers is second to none Also the respect and knowledge of the work just fantastic The constant over view of the management on site was great and always available LOOK IF YOU NEED UNDERPINNING ROCKBOTTOM IS THE ONE

    Basement Underpinning

    I am happy to recommend rock bottom to complete any underpinning work period I am a construction professional with over 40 years experience and they did a fantastic job on this project both in the planning and the implementation.
