    The work was done professionally and timely. there were no issues of any kind regarding the workmanship, the workers or the city . overall we were very satisfied with the finished product. we would not hesitate in recommending Rock Bottom Underpinning

    Underpinning and Exterior Entrance

    Rock Bottom is rock solid - professional, knowledgeable and has an exceptional reputation with past customers, other contractors and inspectors. We are their 3rd job on our street!! The team completely re-built our back wall, removed 2 stone interior walls & porch, installed new supporting beams and built a new exterior entrance in addition to the underpinning. Our foundation was in rough shape and we had complete confidence in their technical expertise each step of the way. Dion and Jamie are great to work with and offered advice based on a solid history of experience. Everyone in this company including sub-contractors take pride in their workmanship and satisfying their customers. Please also pass on our thanks to Thomas, Frank and the broader team for transforming our basement in the underpinning phase. Their hard work and skills are much appreciated, particularly through COVID-19 and a hot summer. We appreciated that Rock Bottom also had a positive and respectful work culture with the members of their team who do this hard physical work. Great job!! After looking at other contractors, we are continuing to work with Rock Bottom to finish our basement renovation with confidence. Stay tuned!!

    Basement Underpinning

    Working with Rock Bottom Underpinning made our project smooth, fast, and reasonably priced. I can't say enough about their amazing crew. Sergio, Frank and the rest of the team were respectful, knowledgeable, and hard working. Dion and Jamie were great at troubleshooting anything that came up and kept my peace of mind. Not only that but the final result was amazing. Thanks guys!

    Basement Underpinning

    I would have no hesitation to recommend Rock Bottom Underpinning to anyone I know. Jamie always got back to me right away, and all the crew were friendly and knowledgeable. The price was more reasonable than other quotes I had done and the work was fantastic!

    Backyard renovation + Pergola

    We hired Dion and his team to help us level our backyard, install new interlock, build a pergola and add a french drain to move water away from the house. We were skeptical at his project plans, but he's a smooth talker, so we followed his advice. Bad idea. The patio has pushed the fence out so much that the stones are dropping inches and we are fearful that the fence will collapse. Stones have cracked, chipped and lifted. Water collects and pools at our backdoor. This happened within 9 months of the install and he has refused to return to repair or honour his work. We reached out to his team countless times, and he's dodged us every move. Very terrible customer service, and even worse construction.

    Hi Libby On June, 2016 we started your excavation and waterproofing- installed new gravel, installed new weeping tile. We were requested to also provide rear hardscaping which included the installation of patio stones selected by the homeowners. Also, we were requested to install and renovate a new, pressure treated 2nd floor deck. We advised them that needed permits, but they insisted that we proceed without. We executed the job with perfection, left and everything was in order- with absolutely no issues. They then installed a hot tub on the patio stones that were installed and no issues. Fast forward to almost 3 years later to the day we started we received an email from Libby as too the fact that her patio stones were shifting. We replied to her email regarding the shifting of the stones and offered her 5 solutions. She declined because she was adamant that we needed to come back and fix the shifted stones at no cost. We are sorry to hear that the stones shifted, but unfortunately the shifting of the stones has no correlation to Rock Bottom Underpinning workmanship and customer service Thank you

    In any project 3 things matter: Quality work on time and on budget. Rock bottom delivered on all 3 fronts with flying colours.     Underpinning basement

    I hired rock bottom underpinning to do my basement, I chose them because they said they can do it the fastest, as well as the best. And they delivered. Process was seamless as they have they’re own engineer, who will work with you to get what you want, and apply for permits to get the ball rolling which made the process stress free. Definitely recommend Jamie, and dion, and the rock bottom underpinning crew!

    Basement underpinning of 1400 sq ft, footings, slab, drains and 2 courtyards

    Never underpinned a house before so I did alot of research. Got 3 quotes, other 2 quotes were less expensive but they didn't have people-person skills which is important in this business so I went with my gut and signed with Rock Bottom. From the beginning, pre-existing contract, Jamie made me feel comfortable without coming across as too salesy. After signing of contract, Jamie and Dion executed as promised. Sergio and his crew were respectful to both myself and the neighbours regarding noise, cleaning-up after themselves and having an overall professional appearance/attitude throughout the duration of work done at my site. The work was completed to my/City's satisfaction (passed) and any concerns were dealt at the time in a reasonable matter. I would highly recommend this company. I

    Basement underpinning + walkout in the Beaches

    I purchased a century home in the Beaches and wanted to achieve a good basement ceiling height, install infloor heating, and excavate a walkout. RockBottom was fantastic from the beginning and right through to the end. From the initial consultation, they explained all details pertaining to the tasks required to properly and safely underpin my basement. They answered all my questions and reassured me they would get the job done with quality and perfection. They definitely delivered. The entire process was executed smoothly with surgical precision and I was amazed at how much detail they paid attention to. The crew was super friendly and extremely professional. I would recommend RockBottom to anyone with no hesitation. Great job guys!

    House underpinning with walk out

    Rock Bottom delivered exactly what they promised in the contract. They dealt with the changes and site conditions very professional and did their best to work with us with no stress. Thank you to all of the members that work on the Rock Bottom team.
