    Home inspection

    Chris was great. He did a thorough inspection of the home and he answered all my questions quickly and honestly. He was also sympathetic to the fact that I work during the day so he was willing to answer and discuss things with me over email. I would definitely use him again.

    Home Inspection

    A friend of mine recommended us to Chris for our very first home inspection. As a first time home buyer my partner and I were nervous as it is, but Chris made the process nice and smooth. He's extremely particular, and has a great attention to detail. I will recommend him to friends and family for their first or next home purchase for sure. Thanks for your helping hand, and still offering to help even when we settle into our home. You rock!

    Home Inspection

    We were very happy with the inspection performed by Chris. He spent the time to explain all of his findings so that we fully understood any issues and potential problems. His final report was outstanding - very detailed with pictures of everything so we could refer back to the various areas of the house. I would definitely recommend Chris to anyone looking for a friendly, knowledgeable home inspector. Thanks Chris!

    Home Inspection

    On-time, Professional, Accurate Found Chris from the net and do recommend him to the net! Chris did my inspection meticulous and professional in the requested very limited time. As my first home inspection I accompanied him during the job to have a better idea about the house and Chris friendly provided me with the informative and detailed info, I learned a lot that day!

    pre purchase home inspection

    organised within a day Chris came out and spent a few hours going top to tail in a townhouse we were interested in. I arrived to be walked through the entire place by Chirs pointing out all the positives and negatives with advice as to how to deal with all the issues that arose. It gave us the confidence to go ahead with the purchase knowing that all issues were fairly minor. Well worth the cost for piece of mind. Would definitely use Chris again, and more importantly wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others

    Home Inspection for Buyer

    Chris Thompson at Haystack Home Inspections did a fantastic job on our last minute home inspection. He jumped in on less than a day's notice to fill in for our other inspector who had been injured on the job. Chris thoroughly reviewed the 1977 townhouse I was considering purchasing (and now own), including review of attic space, all common area buildings and full perimeter examination of the strata and my unit, and provided a detailed yet easily understood report the same day. He was professional and courteous and really knew his subject matter, and even recommended some contractors for renos.

    Home Inspection

    Chris undertook a comprehensive inspection of what is now my new home. He was diligent, professional, very knowledgeable and took the necessary time to conduct the review. He is the fourth inspector that I have used in my life and I found him to be the most meticulous and professional of all. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a highly competent home inspector.

    Inspection Report

    When we were apartment hunting and needed an inspection, Haystack Home Inspection was recommended by our Realtor. He told us that we needed someone reliable, accurate and fast. And Haystack was the one! Very helpful and accomodating with our questions and concerns! Yes, we definitely will recommend... You're in good hands with Haystack Home Inspection!

    Pre purchase Home Inspection

    Chris was really helpful and informative during my recent home inspection before I purchased a condo. He is approachable and friendly and encourages all types of questions. I'm so grateful for his thoroughness and dilligence as it has saved me more money than the cost of the inspection. Definitely well-worth the time and investment for a little peace of mind.

    Home Inspection

    Fantastic work, highly recommended. I waited 3 months to write the review so I could confirm all the stuff in the report. 3 things stood out that made this a great experience: 1.) The report itself: It was incredible thorough and detailed, with pictures and explanations. It also matched with my experiences with the house so far, no unexpected surprised 2.) Professionalism: Communication was great, very reliable and on time with the inspection. He was more than happy to have my contractor come with him on the inspection, who also spoke very highly of him 3.) He fit me in on short notice, ad got me the report within 24 hrs. He went above and beyond in getting me the information quickly and working around my tight schedule. Great experience, will use again. Thanks!
