    Purchase bid inspection, downtown studio condo, Vancouver

    Haystack Home Inspections was recommended by our realtor, whom we trust very much. This was our first purchase in many decades and construction issues in the condo market were foreign to us. Chris provided timely, illustrated and carefully explained report data that helped very much in supporting our confidence in the purchase, creating a subject list and subsequently, dealing with the strata council in and informed manner.

    Home Inspection Townhouse

    Chris is very professional and thorough, he has a great eye for detail. He addressed our concerns and gave us some really good tips for improvements. His report was e-mailed the same day and is very detailed including all of the recommendations he made during the inspection. I really appreciated Chris's emphasis on safety and would happily recommend Haystack Home Inspections.

    Home Inspection

    As we were on a short time limit for subject removal, Chris was able to meet with us and complete the inspection within our time frame. His report was very thorough and covered all aspects. Any deficiencies noted were itemized and rated by importance. We were impressed with the fact that, given the short timeline, a thorough inspection was conducted.

    Home Inspection

    Chris was prompt, thorough and followed through on his delivery timelines. Our last home purchase was new and didn't require a home inspection, and we have been pleased with how accurate Chris' inspection has been with our home purchase. We refer to it all the time! We would definitely provide Chris with a referral for anybody requiring a similar service!

    First time buyer for condo inspection

    Chris at Haystack Inspections did an excellent job! Very professional, detailed and thorough. First off, we went around the outside of the building then went to check boiler rooms, mechanical rooms, rooftop then down to underground parking garage, and also even checked the storage lockers. Chris checked to make sure every appliance and plugin socket was in working order. (Started washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, garburator etc...) He also found that there was some moisture condensation in one of the rooms which helped me bring that to the existing owners attention. Thank goodness for that cause then I was able to inform strata management before I decided to buy and take possession of unit. Chris also did a follow up call and asked to see if there were any questions I needed to know or if there were any concerns. Overall I am very happy and pleased to of found Chris on Yelp and decided to go with Haystack Inspections through Yelp reviews. Thank you so much Chris for my first time home buying experience! Your professionalism was more than I expected. I highly recommend Chris at Haystack Inspections!

During a condo inspection we do check significant common property areas and comment on them generally to help inform you. Identifying moisture issues and getting out in front of the communications and repairs with the strata council is important. If issues are left too long your strata may put the onus back on you.     pre-offer home inspection

    As a first time home buyer, I was exceptionally happy with the service I received from Chris at Haystack Home Inspections. He was professional, thorough, and detailed. Plus, the deal happened fast and Chris was able to accommodate me with very short notice. I'm very happy with the purchase and secure to have thorough, in-depth knowledge of my new home.     Pre-purchase home inspection, after Reno inspection

    Chris helped me by inspecting my home before I bought it. Then I had him inspect some of my renos. He is kind and helpful. I can't say enough good things about his customer service

    First time buyers

    As a first time home buyer I did a lot of research when looking for someone to do a home inspection for us. I found Haystack Home Inspections on yelp and Chris was also referred to me by my realtor. Chris is very knowledgeable and professional and he was able to accommodate and do our inspection on very short notice. Chris was very thorough with the inspection, it took roughly 3.5hrs. After the inspection he went over his findings and he even gave suggestions on how to do some of the repairs needed. The following day he emailed me a very detailed inspection report which included colour photos. A month after the inspection Chris followed up to see if we had any further questions about the house and his inspection. I am very happy with Chris and Haystack Home Inspections and would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

    New Home Inspection

    We called Chris to inspect a new home we were wanting to purchase. As he moved through the house he took time to point out and explain good workmanship or deficiencies he was seeing. He also took photos throughout and compiled a comprehensive report that included the photos he had taken the day of the inspection. This provided us with a visual of the areas that needed attention. His rating system is colour coded and easy to follow. We found Chris to be very personable, professional and the quality of the inspection report he produced was outstanding. I would highly recommend Chris at Haystack Home Inspections to get the job done right.

    1 bedroom, solarium and flex at The Mark

    Chris at Haystack was able to meet us within our preferences of time and was flexible for our schedule. He was very thorough throughout the inspection and was confident in the work he was doing. I would recommend him to any family or friends.
