I had a dead ash tree and a pine tree that needed to be cut down in my backyard. After calling a few places for price comparison, I decided to go with Freyr of Castor Tree Care Services. He and a colleague showed up on time as promised and completed the work within the allotted time. I was very impressed by Freyr's work quality and professionalism. They cleaned up, stacked up the firewood, and used a blower to clear all the sawdust. Freyr left a few big pieces of the trunk on my front lawn and promised that he would pick it up the next day. He fulfilled that promise. I would definitely use Castor Tree Care Services in the future and will recommend them to my friends and family. Mike, North York

I have a front mulberry tree which was in desperate need of pruning. I contacted several tree pruning companies and fortunately I found Castro Tree Care Services through Homestars. I spoke with Freyer who came by the house to take a look at the tree and offer an estimate which turned out to be a very fair price, and he also described how he was going to prune the tree and what the end result would look like. But that's not all, Freyer knew I wanted the tree pruned sooner rather than later and amazingly he was able to prune the tree ahead of the scheduled date. He was very courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. The tree now looks great thanks to Freyer and Castro Tree Care Services. I would absolutely recommend Castro Tree Care Service company to anyone - Thank you Freyer to you and your staff you were all great and I am very happy with the pruning job. An easy 10 out of 10. Freyr and his team at Castor Tree Care recently did tree pruning on our property. They listened attentively to our needs and were willing to answer our questions. A big tree in our backyard had fallen down onto a lane-way due to a storm. We called Freyr of Castor Tree Care and he was able to remove and clean up all the tree debris very quickly. He offered a fair price and his service was very professional. I would refer this company to anyone who needs tree removal or clean up.

Contacted this company to trim a cedar tree in the backyard. Frayer came for an estimate and didn't charge us a penny more. Work was completed within a few hours - included cleanup and they were happy to take an additional small project with us too. I would definitely use this company again in the spring!

We found Freyr of Castor Tree Care very knowledgeable and reliable when it came time to prune and spray our mature Cherry Tree. The rate was competitive and the service was outstanding. The workers were on time, polite and efficient. They did a good job cleaning up as well. We would not hesitate to recommend this company to our family and friends.

We had a section of a large tree break and it was overhanging our back yard. Castor guys removed broken section of tree, balancing it better, trimmed back another tree, and removed a third. Nice guys also gave us suggestions for future tree maintenance.

After reading reviews on this website, we went with Castor because they sought our business with a follow-up phone call AND they gave us by far the most competitive price. The two guys who did the work were super friendly and certainly knew what they were doing. It took them longer than they thought, so needed to come back to finish another day. When they found out it was my birthday, however, they worked overtime to get it done faster! That's what I mean by "nice guys". That goes a long way with us! They did a great job, left the place clean, and were very careful with our grass! We would recommend Castor to friends, and in fact, already have.

We needed to get some large trees pruned. The branches were making it very easy for those pesky squirrels to leap onto our roof and cause quite a raucous up there! Saul and Freyr were very professional, arrived on time (early actually) and cleaned up the area very well. Pricing was very competitive and they even trimmed a couple of extra branches because they thought it would look more balanced without extra charge. Don't hesitate, these guys are great!
