Our backyard maple tree had died and needed to be removed; 4 tall spruce trees badly needed pruning; and branches needed to be removed along the fence line so our cedar tree would get enough light. We were very happy with the quality of the work and the results. The Castor Tree Care Services guys were a pleasure to have around. Excellent value for money.

After a recent break-in, I wanted to quickly remove some overgrown shrubs around the house. The Castor guys came right away and gave me a very reasonable quote. They came back on a rainy day and got the job done. Since they were there, I asked them to give me estimates on some other trees that needed trimming or removal and their prices were the best I'd received so they went ahead with the secondary work as well. Part way through the removal of an old apricot tree, I got cold feet and they responded professionally and sympathetically. My old apricot tree got a much need trim instead and a few more years to live. Thank you!

Castor Tree is professional, courteous and experienced. Fehr was quick to come over and provide a reasonable quote to trim my two birch tree stands and removal of several tree stumps (removed as a result of a major home renovation project). It was a collaborative process - trimming the canopy to meet my neighbours' request and maintain the health of the trees. The work area was left undamaged and all debris was removed. Removal of 8 tree stubs in a very confined space was done manually and with a stump grinder. It was a lot of work but my front & back yards are now clean and ready for replanting. I am completely statisfied with their work, and will use them for all future tree trimming and maintenance work. Highly recommend Fehr and his crew for large and small tree care needs.

Our neighbours tree fell in our backyard after a bad storm. I called Freyr and he and his partner came out the same day. They are very professional and personable. They did a great job removing the tree and cleaning up. I would highly recommend them.

We called Freyr after reading many great reviews on Homestars and we were not disappointed. Our yard has so many overgrown tall trees that it was almost totally in shade all day despite being a south-facing lot. Freyr and his partner spent the entire day up in the trees, cutting limbs that were dead or unnecessary without harming any trees or changing the aesthetic. They were pleasant, helpful and hardworking, and got the job done as promised. Thumbs up.

I found Castor Tree on the web and then read their reviews in HomeStars and luckily it was an excellent experience. They showed extreme professionalism by first of all being right on time at the time agreed upon. The workers were very efficient in cutting down the tree and cleaned up afterwards leaving my patio even better than it was before. Their expertise and domain on the subject of trees as well as processes needed to get permissions to remove trees was very vast. The guys from Castor Tree Care Services really know their stuff... I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking to have work done to their property. I remember these guys were out in the cold last winter after that terrible snow storm hit! They were really driven to help the city and homeowners clean up their property quickly and safely. Trust me, If you want good service, on time, and for a fair price, then these are the guys to call!
